 You're a bunch of cnuts

I used to have a good reputation on here, re football

That all changed when I stopped being arsed to pretend everything about United was great and everything about everyone else was shit

Also, I blame Richter

If this the place where you look for some appreciation, then for what its worth you are pretty much spot on about most things though.

Yes, it did take a while for me to join the Caf and be the positive influence of wisdom and truthfulness on you since your self-proclaimed biased days.

My vision now though had to be sacrificed and I have recently realised I have to do with glass pieces hanging in front of me eyes

He's actually far better at speaking English than even the recent interview suggests

SkySports interviewed him before the Benfica game this year, and he was pretty much fluent. Just struggles to get his words out when put on the spot I think, like most footballers
That's a good point.

When you compare Ronaldo to Gerrard to is clear that Ronaldo is the more fluent and better speaker of the language.

To be fair, although Plech is comfortably the best poster on the board, outside of the General which he dominates like some kind of prowling literary bulldog he has had some major feck ups in his Football Forum record, including starting the polemic* 'Ronaldo Dive watch' thread, hating Ronaldo**, rating Miller and denying that Lampard and Gerrard couldnt play together, a theory floated by Football pioneers like myself, and now widely accepted amongst media cretins.

*Yes!!
**Not thinking he's the greatest creatue to ever have walked the earth.

When someone sticks a clip up, you don't expect it to be from 2 years ago
So if you saw a clip recently post up of JF Kenndy being assassined, you would be thinking, why was he being assassined again?!! Stupid is as stupid does! No matter how high you regard your own level of intelligence, this statement is plain dumb. Sorry i dont mean to insult but read your own post again, to see if it is laugable!

Gazza in the interview said, 'He is only 18!' And it is not enough to alert you it was not an interview conducted when he was 18??

Even now, after 3 years, he seems to have a lot of trouble with the language
Seriously, by puttin him down, does it raise your own esteem? So he's lazy and stupid compared to you then?! Seriously, when will you start to speak like grown up then maybe I will try to make time?

Plech is getting a mauling here, ladies and gentlemen, you sense the proverbial Red Cafe extras, the little men, have been brooding silently in the last few years as Plech ruled the roost. Now they've seen the oppertunity to take revenge and they are taking it. It's been suggested that they all answer to some sort of underground **** figure called Jasonrh, though no ones sure if he actually exists.

Presumably the bossman will come back and crush this resistance with some sort of rhyme based retort...

Why everything with Plechazunga is polemic.

I barely post in the General these days Steve, and haven't for months. But thanks for the kind words.

The Dive Watch thing was completely unfair. I was arguing with A1Dan about how much he dives, A1Dan suggested we keep a tally over the course of the season, I started it. It wasn't meant to be having a go, and in fact I recorded in good faith that he wasn't really diving this season. When loads of half-wits got offended, I deleted it, but Weaste, being mental, put it back.

Everything else is essentially Richter's fault.

He also spent ages sticking up for Peter Crouch, which even if valid (it wasn't), was quite strange.
And he backed Arsenal for the title this season. Probably

I'll tell you what, why don't you go away and, in your own time, see if you can work out why that's a totally retarded analogy.

Gazza in the interview said, 'He is only 18!'
I stopped watching after Neville G gave him the bottle

Seriously, by puttin him down, does it raise your own esteem? So he's lazy and stupid compared to you then?! Seriously, when will you start to speak like grown up then maybe I will try to make time?
He's certainly not stupid compared to you, I'll give him that.

Now come to think of it.. you seem to be repeating this over and over... Maybe I should not have called you stupid, cos in fact, you are retarded?!

I guess I should not be too mean to someone who's not very bright and it's not their fault!

Are you quite serious? Oh God! You are not only slow, you even lie.... It's your usual excuse again, 'I havent watched the clip'.

Do you know after Gazza gave the bottle, Ronnie gave a speech of 3 mins answer in perfect English? Well that's not quite true but you would not have known it so that you can counter that statement, right?

You making things up as you go along! And that goes to your honesty not just your level of intelligence. That's sad.

Why am I not surprised you wont be able to see that the use of such an analogy is just an extreme case to show how stupid you had shown yourself?

Clearly, your excuse of 'stop watching after Gazza giving over the bottle' was better than the 'I dont expect someone putting up a clip which is two years old'

But we are not going to sit here waiting for you to make up some more excuses to get yourself out of jail. BYE!

Does he really have dyslexia? That would explain his evil gesture when he nearly scored a freekick against Chelsea(?).
It doesn't sound like he has dyslexia. I think he just enjoys having the camera on him. His english is actually pretty good. That polemic interview will go down in history i tell ya.

No, it wasn't just an extreme case, it was a totally different case

People put up links all the time. If they put one up saying "Cristiano Interview", it's entirely reasonable to assume it's a recent interview.

If they put up a clip of Kennedy, the only reasonable assumption would be that it was an old clip

Purely out of interest, what do you think is happening in your brain when you think you're thinking?

How nice to read this.. a breath of fresh air so to speak! Why would anyone (who's not Ronnie-hater or ABU) in their right mind not be able to appreciate it and think it like this I have no idea!

The language issue aside, the interview in question goes to show he is even clever! More credit to him as he certainly has not prepared to use such vocabulary beforehand! At least it did come out as quite spontaneous!

Er, my usual excuse?

I watched it up to when he passed over to Gaz...was there anything about him being 18 before that?

Maybe there was...even if so, what can I say, I missed it. I'm terribly sorry.

Of course you would not be able to reach that level of thinking even if I tell you, so it would be a waste of time to further communicate with you! Go back to your General Thread and chat with someone with your level of thinking, thanks!

it's about time you said this! Lesson learned hopefully. What you did is really annoying, if not outrageous. You jumped into every opportunity to discredit anything nice said about Ronnie, and it is so disgusting!

I would not mind if you do that to say your favorite player say Peter Couch, but Ronnie, just give us a break!

Words like "polemic" aren't flash vocabulary. They're clearly normal Portuguese words that are rarer in English.

You are a Stupid man!!! Who says it is a flash vocabulary? The very fact that he is using a word that is so uncommonly used in the day to day English speaking world makes the answer even more philosophical. It shut the interviewer up in questioning, 'why is it always Cristiano Ronaldo?'

You know what? Please go away and not talk to me. I am seriously sick of all of this! You go away! DEAL?

One should know that not every country teaches english - even in europe. Students get to chose between german, french and english. In Ronaldo's case it's quite obvious he didn't know any english when he arrived to manchester, and to be fluent it can take anything from 1 year to forever. It's all up to how talented you are.

Nope. You've still not got it. It's pretty obvious that there's a common wordd in Portuguese, like "polemico", which means something like "controversial" or "contentious". He's naturally translated it into English, where it's a rarer word, that means something slightly different

It's called a "false friend"

Let me know if you ever get round to being capable of comprehending this
