Its the Glazers that need to go first.
Not happening unfortunately but at least they are good at their job. It may be money leeching cnuts but they are still very good at it. This manager though is not very good at his job and like manager at every other club that produce these results they have to go.

His position will become untenable, the teams performances will guarantee this. There's a level that dropped since February which hasn't realistically been amplified and the team has been in freefall ever since. If the hierarchy was diligent they would pull the plug because it's better to smell the scent of smoke before feeling the heat of something burning, the projection for this team is that the manager cannot inspire consistency. Even the games won aren't strong sustainable victory's that drives confidence in to the following fixtures.

Erik only has himself to blame, I wished like others this wouldn't be the case but what everyone supposedly thought was being acquired with Ajax has been more like the manager doing work experience in a field he's totally experienced in and the approach to direct football, transition, high press whatever you want to name isn't working. That's not the worst thing the manager has been unable to revert to type so it's not even like this team can build on the selective success of the performances last season there's disillusionment at both player and staff level. It's over.

After last season, I thought we finally found a long term manager that can bring us back to glory. Sorry I'm wrong and is time for a change. No point in keeping him as there is no glimpse of any hope left

Consecutive 3-0 home defeats and people still want this guy.

Yeah let's sack him cause most of our players have the collective IQ of an ashtray.

I'll take a sacking every season if it means we get rid of lame duck managers.

He'll be here until we reach an even lower ebb, and then we'll probably bring Ole back as caretaker and give him the gig after a new manager bounce.

For you see, we are a splendidly run club.

Yes it is but who can we get in for 12 months of semi decent stuff to sack in 4-6 months later
Exactly. At some point you may as well say feck it and stick with one guy and save the firing and hiring costs.

It’s time for him to go but I can’t see club sacking him until next international team at the earliest. Can’t see us beating Fulham or Copenhagen and even Luton will be tough. I don’t honk there is any intention to sack him but position may be untenable after those games.

I'm trying to think of a way he can make it to January and get some players back or some new ones in but it looks inevitable at this point.

That period from around the 2-0 win against Spurs to the League cup final was probably the best i've felt supporting the club in the post SAF era :( . What the actual feck happened?
We are a billion in debt - 300M+ of that in transfer fees owed to other clubs. Where do you think this money is coming from? And who on earth would give that money to ETH to spend?

From terrible to good: Mount, Anthony, Casemiro, Malacia, Onana, Hojland (and Hojland is only getting a 'pass' because that it literally the one thing noone gives him. How many successful passes/crosses has he received since he's been here?)

Yeah he gone. This is Rangnickesque at this point.

Maybe he wasn't as good as we hoped, or maybe this club is hopeless. Probably a bit of both.

Probably best to do it before he gets us relegated

If he gets sacked it'll be the same shit in a year or 2. Rinse and repeat.

It's really like Groundhog Day.
I don’t believe in this opinion. He’s been given his own players and a ton of money yet his team cant put 2 passes together he can have no complaints. We’re on a road to nowhere signing absolutely shite under this manager

Tick tock. I said this could be his last game a few weeks ago, but we've been even more pathetic than I could possibly have imagined.

It's been clear all season something is off, we've been atrocious since day one and it's getting worse

To everyone calling for his head, who do we bring in?

There's nothing to salvage this season. We're not getting top 4. We're likely getting knocked out of the CL.

Are we bringing someone in to win us the Europa? Is that even realistic? I don't think so.

Enough caretaker bollocks. Give ETH the rest of the season. As painful as it'll be, we'll be much better placed to make the right appointment, and give him a proper preseason.

Sacking now makes no sense

As usual it will drag out for no apparent reason and nothing is left to salvage from the season.

Should be before the end of this month:

Fulham, Luton, Everton in the league.

Copenhagen and Galatasaray in the CL.

Needs to win every single one really, but I honestly can't see any - leaking goals left right and centre and can't score for toffee.

Two 3-0 losses at home in a row to City and Newcastle is a sackable offense tbh. Can't really defend him anymore. There's absolutely no excuses for that given the money spent....

Was also our worst defeat at home to Newcastle since 1937.

Just waiting for yet another manager to be sacked. The next one will come and in 2 years we will be back here. Round and round we go.

Selling a player or two and/or another emergency loan? The striking situation is diabolical. regardless of whether EtH stays or goes, having Rashford, Martial and Hojlund (talented as he is) as your main strikers is a big problem.

Club is rotten to the core. We’ve ruined another manager, another one with a good CV has failed here, it’s almost as if there must be another reason every manager and player that comes to the club fails…
