If they still had Mitrovic I'd be more confident they'd get a result. Without him, it rebalances it somewhat in our favour. Any result could happen and I wouldn't be surprised.

Play the academy lads plus Garnacho and maybe Casemiro. Have the first team squad clean their boots afterwards

Thought Garnacho was really trash in the times we've started him now. I'd rather see Rashford again  I cant decide who is marginally better though.

If we draw I will be happy. Nevertheless, I will not watch the game and I don't want to suffer again.

Varane is still sick so we'll have yet again Maguire and Lindelof. Amarabat the MMA fighter will play alone in midfield, such as Mc Tominay.

So we will not have anything changing vs recent weeks.

We can only hope in December/January when Shaw and Licha back to have a sort of stability. Until then, we will suffer.

    -----------------------------------------------Onana----------------------------------------------------
    Wan Bissaka-------------Maguire-----------Lindelof-------------------------Reguilon
    ---------------------------------Amrabat----------Eriksen-----------------------------------------
    Antony--------------------------------------Bruno------------------------------------Rashford
    -------------------------------------------------Hojlund------------------------------------------------

You honestly believe Varane is sick?

Fulham can't wait for this game.

I can see United taking the 3 points to ruin their party.

If the mentality is right, we should bounce back with the best performance of the season.

With that in mind I'm going for a 3-1 win to Fulham.

We must start over. Play low use the most adequate defensive players and go long on Rashford and Hojlund. Let Fernandes do what he does best, let him sit in the free role in the middle and let him flick passes between.
Isn't this what we've been doing unsuccessfully already?

We’ll scrape a 1-0 win through a freak own goal and the “have we reached a turning point” discussions will start only for us to collapse in the next game against Copenhagen leading to an unceremonious exit from the CL.

All I know is that we will have more shots from outside the area than actual clearcut chances like usual

Haven´t got a clue how we should approach this game? Even when we are playing with more than one midfielder that should be able to defend we are clueless and just let them walk through. We sit deep at times trying to make it difficult but we still give them openings.
Go more attacking? We can´t get a player on the end of a cross to save our lives. We can´t hit target from distance more than the odd slow 30m sidefooter. If any of our players puts some mustard on it it will head for orbit.
All it does is leaves us open for counters, since most of our defenders and mids are running in skiboots, that is not very healthy.
Hopefully AWB can get better and better now and help out in that regard at least.

Think i hope for an attacking side again, would be nice if i could witness us score a goal, been so long.

    Rashford Bruno Antony
    Eriksen Amrabat
    Reguilon Maguire Varane Wan-Bissaka
    Onana

    Mainoo, Garnacho, Martial, Dalot, Mount

Drop a bit deeper and counter attack. That front four is made to counter, so let's play to their strengths.

Im happy with Hojlund and Amrabat. Hojlund will come good weve seen glimpses that ge can become a class striker with decent supply.
Amrabat looks class to me and if not played along side casamiro which i think he should be when boyth fit, at least we now have to CDM,s

Mount, seems a pointless signing as i dont see where he fits in. Onana, jury still out.

The worst signing was last year, Anthony, a winger who cannot beat a man, who is so one footed and a one trick pony. We pursued him for ages and paid treble what hes worth. Not only that he is a irritable bratt and not very likeable.
    Hojlund
    Rashford Bruno Antony
    Eriksen Amrabat
    Reguilon Maguire Varane Wan-Bissaka
    Onana

    Mainoo, Garnacho, Martial, Dalot, Mount

Drop a bit deeper and counter attack. That front four is made to counter, so let's play to their strengths.
but when they counter they fluff every chance. Id drop Anthony for sure. Rashford is not great on the right but id prefer him to Anthony. Garnacho on the left.
Im hoping varane can play with Lindelof at the back and AWB on the right.

    Tempted to try

    Martial Hojlund Mount
    Bruno
    Eriksen Amrabat
    Reguilon Maguire Varanne Bissaka

Or maybe even put Hannibal instead of Martial, so we can go 4411 with Bruno playing off Hojlund. Either way off the ball pack that midfield.

Easy win for Fulham, our best hope is to park the bus and try and play on the counter but we don’t even seem capable of doing that.

It's away, so that means even less effort from these muppets. Don't really care which team he picks because all the players don't want to play for EtH either because they don't understand the tactics or they just don't have the belief in them. Bruno is lost and needs to be picked at number 10 again and build from that. Even Garnacho has caught the pass it it back and sideways disease.

It's funny, the worse things are getting the more optimistic I feel. I was certain we'd beat Newcastle and we got hammered, and despite everything I'm still fairly sure we're going to beat Fulham.

Palhinha will almost certainly be the best player on the pitch and shite all over Casemiro and Amrabat, but Fulham are NOT good overall (neither are we yes I know). The day I go in to a match against Fulham without at least the hope/blind optimism that we might win, is the day I stop watching football.

Think I'd go 3-5-2, just for the sake of doing/trying something different.

    -------------------------------Onana
    -----------------Lindelof-Varane-Maguire
    Wan Bissaka------------------------------------Reguilon
    ----------------------Amrabat-Casemiro
    ------------------------------Fernandes
    -------------------------Hojlund-Rashford
    Casemiro is out

    3-0 Fulham.

Play anyone it won't matter they're all terrible.
    Makes sense

We have started a nice tradition of losing games 3-0

Shame on Fulham if they break this streak and beat us 4-0

We wills core first. Concede a stupid penalty minutes later (possibly by the scorer). Go behind in the 2nd half, get a last minute goal in stoppage time to secure the draw.

How does that work? You will have the game on but look another way and cover your ears?
Yeah, pretty much. Might just put it on and just stare directly above the TV.

    Uhhh guessing 2-0 loss?
    Onana
    Dalot Maguire Evans Reguilon
    Amrabat Mainoo
    Rashford Bruno Garnacho
    Hojlund
I would hate to see Dalot play after what he did with Newcastle and considering AWB is back

I agree Ten Hag needs to get his head out of his ass and start two defensive-minded midfielders, either Mainoo and Amrabat or Case and Amrabat, and stop playing Bruno on the wing

Dont care to see Rashford playing, even though he probbaly will.

    My desired lineup:

    Onana
    AWB Varane Evans Reguilon
    Amrabat Mainoo/Casemiro
    Pellistri Bruno Garnacho
    Hojlund

I am afraid he will start Bruno on the right, play Mount and McT instead and we lose

I just hope EtH is clever enough to recognise that current tactics/system doesn't work and try something else, but from what I've read about him from those who supposedly has more knowledge than me, he is very stubborn. So... :nervous: Nothing will change
