I feel bad for Hojlund. Non-existent service, zero support. What's he supposed to do out there.

Clearly the gameplan is to use no energy, so we're able to rip them apart in the second half.

    Right?

Who the hell signed off the Antony transfer.
Wants shooting. Honestly the guy is simply awful.

It's like watching a random league 1 match between some bottom teams like Burton vs Fleetwood or something which we know both team are kinda shite and the match is no surprise also shite. Feck this shite team.

Did Martinez have injury problems before arriving at United? I feel like we’ve lost our defensive linchpin entirely.

The performance is awful but I can't get my head around that var call.

Have we had a game this season where they haven't looked into something over and over just to find a reason to give the decision or chalk it off. So many games have been done on either nothing calls or tight calls.

Subjective offsides. Either you're off or you aren't var should be making that call. We have had players stood infront of keepers and the goal not being chalked off. Rubbish.

only when you see how limited Fulham are you realize how bad everything is at the moment. because as bad as they look, they don't seem to be under any pressure or danger from United.

Spent the half doing an Only Fools and Horses quiz instead. Apparently I'm a super fan :D

No because he plays more as a roaming forward.
There is no excuse for striker not being involved in play. Unless you are Pippo Inzaghi type of striker who literally lives on scraps in penalty box. Hojlund's performance is the same as Martial's and Wout's were. Not good enough.

Why isn't there an option to turn the commentary off and just have the ground audio?

Jenas is a fecking weapon. Just talks absolute shite. He's not shut up about United for the entire half. I get it, we're shit, but he's just making things up and doesn't stop talking.

    He adds absolutely zero insight.

Watching United is painfull enough as it is at the moment without this cretin giving me ear cancer.
He’s called Jermaine Penis for a reason.

What did Antony do to deserve a start? Oh, he has got a left foot and ETH's football, we must always have a left footed player on the right else the team won't function. Antony can rot for all I care, I don't think I will see another 80 million winger who can't beat a player or provide accurate cross.

Not the worst half I've seen all season, but that's more a reflection on every other game than this one. Still bitter about the goal. It's just been flat since then.

Same. 2 strikers one dropping off. Can’t be worse than this.
If it’s an improvement I’d rate us going for Toney in January. Feels like a change of system is the only way things are going to change.

We set off better than Fulham but the latter two thirds were Fulham’s mainly due to our persistent gifting the ball to them. This gave them energy and they bossed the last 15 -20 minutes. Still we are still in with a shout but not a loud one.

If that goal had stood, as it should have, United kick on and take advantage.
But no, 4 minutes of tension, ultimately leading to disappointment and a feeling of what is the actual point

He’s a better player, but is he really offering much more at the moment? We desperately needed a transformative striker this summer. We over payed for a rookie that might be top class 2-3 years from now.
Yeah, I agree overall. I think he offers more, but definitely not a lot more.

But he whole team is shit, so I'm not sure any striker would have been "transformative".

We seem to have fully embraced the "route 1" style, we might knock it around aimlessly at the back for a few seconds to give the impression we might be thinking of playing it out from the back but ultimately it ends in a long ball lumped forward, and we're not even good at competing and winning second balls so it's ineffective and boring to watch.

Most of our players are getting pushed off the ball, I think Hojlund just isn't used to it yet but the rest of our players are just too small or soft. McT is our best right now. Onana is getting frustrated - we're not getting forward fast enough once he has the ball in hand.

Fulham can't pass while trying to live off the counter attack.

Trying to be positive I think we have been more focussed compared to against Newcastle. Fernandes and Dalot particularly looking better. I feel McTominay has been our stand out performer so far. Playing well linking up with Garnacho and defending ably as well.

Unfortunately, the same issues persist. Poor passing and technique up front. Eriksen is being overrun and Antony is a joke of a footballer. I'd bring on Amrabat at half time for Antony and move Fernandes out wide. Eriksen needs help and we need more bodies in midfield.
Positives: were not 3 nil down

I can see eriksen getting frustrated. McT doing ok for a battering ram.

That was a totally insipid display, looking a bit more solid but our attacking structure is just non existent.

Bring Mount on for Antony who has been dreadful.

Imagine being a fan of United having watched decades of amazing attacking football and then defend this joke.

We're an absurdly poor attacking team. You just can't defend this crap. It's actually offensive having to watch this lame insipid shite.

This is absolutely pathetic. Why in the name of god, with how bad the results have been lately, are they playing the game at an absolute snail’s pace?

We can blame the Glazers all we like, we can blame the injuries, we can blame VAR and refs and we can even blame the leak in the Old Trafford roof if we want but when the 11 players on the pitch play with absolutely zero intensity, zero speed, zero energy then I truly don’t know what to think anymore.

We are playing like it’s a charity match, a jolly kick about that has no consequence on the line, whether this is the “tactics” the manager has issued today or the players just are bothering to run I don’t know. But something is seriously wrong.

Also, we paid 70m for a very good young striker and the only way we have tried to utilise him today was lumping long balls to him, with 3 defenders around him. This is beyond infuriating.

Hojland lack of mobility is a major problem for us. Just not dynamic enough to be a top PL player.
    A) he's 20 years old and lacks experience b) when he joined he showed how dynamic he could be c) he has literally zero service from the midfield or wide players d) the team is playing horrendous football, this can easily be infectious.

I see your frustration but let's not be a premature ejaculater given he has play about 10 games for us in what is, the worst run this club has had in over 30 years.

Ten hag probably things he's doing fine. He's a target man today being asked to bring the long balls down
