We'll win this convincingly. This is the game where it all starts to click even with our beleaguered midfield.

It will be interesting to see if this Braithwaite kid is any good as I am sure if he is there will be a lot of talk about him.

I imagine it will be McTominay and Amrabat, but tempting to think a less physical opponent might mean Mainoo starts (or at least comes on in the 2nd half) for McTominay.

An Everton fan has this as their likely lineup:

    Pickford

    Young -- Tarkowski -- Branthwaite -- Mykolenko

    Garner ------------ Gana

    Harrison ----------- Doucoure ------------ McNeil

    DCL

So that's not a particularly physically imposing midfield without Onana for Mainoo if you figure Amrabat is mostly marking Doucoure, Gana is on Bruno and it's Mainoo vs Garner.

Also looks like a lot of the usual Dyche early crosses with those wingers and Calvert-Lewin, so would be nice to see Varane over Lindelof if Varane hasn't been sold by Sunday.

So VDG is on the touchline for tomorrows game. I’d of thought McClaren would have done it to be honest.

Tbh I have a bad feeling about this match. We often don't do well after the break and they'd be fighting tooth and nail to get out of the relegation zone.

Since caf is not so optimistic about this game, think we will nick a win.

    But lost 5 games already…
In the league (CL a bit messy) we’ve won all but one game we were favourites to win. Our problem is that we got shit VAR decisions in a two week span that fecked us against quality opposition so that feeling has stuck with us.
Look at Liverpool, a loss today and a win for us leaves us 3 points behind them. Does it feel like that should be the case? Shit, there’s a credible run of results that will see us only 5 off the top by Monday.
We may have lost 5 but we don’t drop points to the likes of Everton. We very well could tomorrow but it would be a shock and it would be a shock for good reason

Our rivals are playing each other this weekend which means we’ll probably drop points and not benefit. We should have beaten palace, Brighton and spurs. Think we was favourites in them 3 matches. You’re right about VAR doing us over time and time again. But if we could score 3 goals in games then then VAR decisions wouldn’t matter. We’re relying on luck because we can only score 1 maybe 2 goals a game.

It's just depressing whenever anyone mentioning our goal scoring. If I'm not wrong our forwards have scored a whole whooping number of ONE fecking goal this season in the PL.

Palace I agree but I don’t think anybody expected us to beat Brighton after what came before. They may have even been favourites going into the game if I remember correctly

Wasn’t we at home against Brighton? That automatically makes us favourites. I wasn’t saying the VAR decisions was down to luck. I was saying we need luck on our side because we can’t score goals so we’re relying on decisions being correctly and not getting done over by them. Where as if we can score 3+ goals then that should win us most games so the odd dodgy decision won’t affect us.

Wrong as usual. We were around evens to win against Brighton. Also favourites with the bookies against Spurs.

Based on the current odds this is 3rd highest (least likely win) odds wise so far this season in the PL.

And now Mount seems to be out.

What's now worrying me is that the rumors of players complaining about being overworked in pre season may have some validity. That's usually the case when you see alot of injuries in a team to start the season.

Remember, ten Hag wants to play a very high tempo style, and by the end of last season the team was gassed. Don't know if the players will be able to hold up if he wants to continue at this pace.

As guaranteed a defeat as one is likely to get. Goodison Park will be up for it, and our mental midgets will crumble in no time.

Excellent. A true Manchester United fan. And I do hope that your optimism is justified.

Three points tomorrow and it’s just five points up to City. That with a squad so full of injuries and problems.

If we win tomorrow, hat off for the man in the stands (tomorrow)!

Let’s be honest If we were 15 points ahead of city they’d still finish above us this season. What City / Arsenal /Liverpool do won’t bother us it’s finishing below one of them is the aim.

Got to win this and go 5 off top. Imagine if they take 30 points off city and we aren’t there to capitalise…

Probably the best we can do with our available players. I'm sure he'll pick Maguire over Varane, though, which is hard to understand.

I feel strongly that they'll get something out of this. Could see 0-0 or 1-1.

We really should be hammering the fukk out of Everton. Let us see if we’re up to it or if we’re just going phone it in…again.

But we've been anything but high tempo, even last season we weren't high tempo compared to many other teams.

You don’t think Shaw or AWB play?

I can’t remember Ten Hag rushing players back TOO quick but it’s not like we have set the world alight.
