Said after the Chelsea win. Suicide football that just got lucky. Being exposed here. The tactics are terrible, just terrible.
This is chaos football is right from the old Ole days, absolutely dreadful but fans seem to be content with ETH.

Actually thought there was a bit of zing to our attack in the first 15 minutes but that disappeared completely as the half wore on.
Isn’t that the norm? We look like we will play well and then we concede

Anthony Martial is the Bernie Madoff of footballers, a complete fraudster stealing a living off United.

For a striker Martial just doesn't know how to anticipate situations. He always seems to just move slowly waiting for the ball to be played right to his feet.

I like our quick passing. Makes you wonder why we haven't played like this most of the season.
Even when Martial was good he didnt have that 'real striker' instinct. I dont think he is too lazy to get into the positions but he just lacks that anticipation to get in the position.

Antony has at least been beating his full back regularly. The problem is there isn’t enough support when he does. Or he gives it Martial who then promptly does nothing with it.

I’d bring Hojlund on for Martial but otherwise give Garnacho and Antony 15mins before subbing one of them. See how they do with someone working hard with them.

He's been dreadful, unlike against Chelsea. Lots of misplaced passes, can't beat a man without having to do it again because he got no acceleration, final ball poor and he offers feck all threat AGAIN
This! I’ve been trying to put my finger on it. The lack of acceleration makes his trickery pointless as defenders seem to easily get back into position.

Antony has more fight than most of our players, let's give credit where it's due.

Could see this winding up our first draw in the league. I feel like a goal has been coming for us.

I like Ten Hag but his repeated playing of Martial, a player who has consistently let us down over 7 seasons now is really making me start to switch off.

I hate watching us play with Martial - it's like being down to 10 men automatically

Martial needs to go off. He's not making any runs or offering anything really. Not sure Hojlund will be a massive improvement tbh but at least he will press which could help our other attackers. Bournemouth have played well. Can't remember us creating anything tbh. Feels like we could drop points here

Martial is as worthless as everyone except ETH could have predicted.

McTominay reminding us how useless he is outside of the penalty area, for the 200th time.

McTominay is not going to get subbed. He's the only player we have that scores.

Thankfully Lord Maguire is playing well. We'd be at least 0-2 without him.

Martial can’t come out for the second half.

Martial just has zero pace now. How he gets any game time is beyond me. He offers nothing.
He also wants everything in to feet and does everything in-front of CBs, which makes their lives really easy.

As a lone CF, it's your job to disrupt the CB and create space for others. Must be the easiest game any CB will play all season with him never running across or behind them.

We still can't get out of our own half when a physically superior team is pressing us. Apart from that we've actually played some decent football. Just the final pass is eluding us. The conditions aren't helping, but too many times a bad touch/pass has ruined our moves. Maguire has been our best player. Martial and McT off for Mainoo and Hojlund please.

Frustrating half. Thought we started well, even though we conceded. Afterwards it was just poor and nothing working out. We've made Solanke look like Kane. Shaw is struggling with him.

Maguire saved us towards the end. Reguilon has been frustrating as well. Antony 2nd best after Maguire probably.

Wonder if ten Hag will change at HT. Perhaps Mainoo for McTominay but with McTominay's goalscoring record recently I'm not sure ten Hag will sub him atm.

Why is Martial and Antony getting all the stick when Garnacho has been equally shite?
That’s the way it is here. We only talk about Garnacho when he performs well every five games.

He benefits massively for being the option that isn’t Rashford.

Criminal performance again. How is it possibly much the same team that played during the week - theyre lazy, slouching, ponderous. The most disappointing thing is that Im surprised, this has happened over and over again for years. Speaks to a rotten culture.

Martial should be nowhere near this team I refuse to believe we dont have a reserve striker who'd offer more.

Mainoo, Rashford and Hojlund should all come on at half time. This is a sinful drop of points.

How have we gotten here? Where every single game is a struggle. How is Bournemouth at home not just a battle, but a predictable one, where none of us were even confident.

Abysmal. No positives to take from that half at all.

Why not play Rashford through the middle instead of the lacklustre and predictably shit Martial?
Because Rashford is bad during the middle.

Rashford, in this form, getting played down the middle? It would be an absolute clown show.

Martial is playing terribly but he does have some qualities about playing with back to goal and linking play that Rashford doesn’t. Not that he’s showing it today though.

Bring Greenwood back for January and send Martial the other direction?
Absolutely not. Sell both, easily decision.

McT has been shit, but that was a hospital ball played into him for their goal, he has no chance.

Looking like we have a game plan and we are playing fairly well bar the odd individual error.

Maguire playing great so is Antony.

Off day for Garnacho and Martial needs moving in but weve all known this for 2/3 seasons.

No chemistry in the final third

Last I checked we're on course for around 45 goals for the season. Our attacking player stats are just woeful. I'd like to see Mainoo on with Hojlund but are we taking off our only hope in the last 10 with McTom.

We just shit a brick every time we get to the box, we're even getting there quicker with more energy than before yet still can't capitalize.

Started off fairly well, conceded a cheap goal, played well for another 20 minutes or so, and then ran out of ideas.

When we get closer towards their goal, the quality of our football drops. We can't pick out the right final passes, or the pass before the final pass. The movement from the front three just isn't fluid enough, it's too disjointed. Alongside that, we make the wrong decisions, choosing to go right when we need to go left or losing the ball too easily.

That front three doesn't look 'natural' to me. Doesn't look like a front three that are going to get goals. I trust Maguire to chip in with a goal before Antony does, for example.

Anyone even suggesting we played well/OK here need to have their heads checked alright. We simply have no structure and are very easy to play against for any half decent side.

I wasn't able to watch the first half. A lot of contrasting comments here, some saying Bournemouth deserve nothing, others saying we're lucky not to be 2 down.

    How have we been actually?
Stats don't lie. Bournemouth managed just 27% possession and 135 passes in that half. Their goal and other chance that came off the post came from United foolishly giving the ball away

Pretty predictable and a lot of what we've seen from this team countless times.

Could turn it around in the second half, but could easily see this being another 1-0 home defeat.

We just look really hopeless against teams that want to sit back. Looks so crowded in the opposition half with our players always appearing isolated. We don't move it quick enough/play with any tempo to get their block shifting. Then when we do for that one moment, we lack runners or we lack decision making.

I would get Hojlund on for Martial, he seems like he's not on the same wavelength with a lot of the attackers (although same could be said for a lot of our players in general). I don't think he's been terrible but as I said, I don't think today he's been on the same page with the forwards. Would even consider Rashford for Garnacho, thought the latter today hasn't really been impactful.

Got to disagree with you, I see a slow winger with poor passing. Slows us down too much with no end product.
Someone needs to slow us down, because everyone else plays at 100mph and it leads to nothing but chaos, especially against an organised team like Bournemouth.
