Wouldn't have sold Bowen if not for the doubles but tbf didn't really even consider getting him back this week.
And no one will buy for next gw either with the doubles coming up and other options opening up. I already had plans to get him 28 if he looked better so that stays in place.

Just checked if Areola has made any saves and there's been 4 shots on target and 3 goals conceded. Both these teams are terrible.
Yep. It's slightly hindsighty but the knock on effect to my gw29 plans is disastrous.
My original plan was to roll in 25 and bring in both Solanke and Luiz this week. Instead I brought in Doku in 25, Hwang this week and now I'm only carrying 5 gw29 players with 2 ft's to spare.
Really need Arsenal v Chelsea or Wolves v Bournemouth to go ahead.

Bowen literally got more points in GW26 than in all other GWs since Christmas. Fair play if you had him.

Well, that was painful. It's weird to see how many in my minileagues actually sat with him through the last 7 GWs to get these 20 points. Stand by your man I guess. It's a good thing I had Reguilon to salvage a -1 to make it a perfect ending to the GW.

Next 2 days are huge for fpl. It will be what finally decides the chip strategy going into the end of the season.
As it stands I still wouldn't want to FH in 29 and I'd just take a couple of hits to get the big boys in. Some cup upsets though and suddenly a lot more is on the table. Could even be that dead end into 28 and wildcard in 29 becomes viable if say Liverpool went out and Salah was back.
