He’s turned into a proper player. Excellent performance. Jose was right it seems.

Yep, now one of the best right backs in EuropeJose was right about him and his potential. If the team doesn’t progress in the next 12-18 months, Madrid will be tapping him to replace Dani Carvajal.
Exactly. He’s sewn that RB position up and looks just as good as LB.Quite possibly our best player at the moment.
Media would be waxing lyrical about that performance if it was TAA or Reece James.Tweet

I'm someone that's very critical of him but what a class performance from him.Tweet

Yes. Ever since Shaw got injured, people have been saying he should play on the left in place of Lindelof, AWB, Amrabat etc. He's clearly got the quality to play there but it's largely nonsensical because he's our only consistent player playing in his best position and pretty much putting 6.5-8/10 performances regularly.ETH must get credit for allowing him to play constantly on the right for a while now. Dalot looks like a player.
He's really, really good at playing out from the back and defending one vs. one now. I'd still like to see him improve his crossing and decision making in the final third, but he's become a very good right back. Also really fit and always available. It's one position I feel we don't have to worry about next year.Tweet

we’re only a few weeks removed from posters calling Dalot “the worst player they’ve ever seen for Utd”.He’s making a lot of people look a bit silly now.
