Another defensive injury for City. It will be poor by Arsenal if they lose to a City side with such a patched up defence and 2nd choice goalkeeper. All these injuries all great news for Liverpool

I hope that one day Uefa/Fifa will introduce a rule when these "tactical" (in other words deliberate) fouls will be rewarded with yellow card.

Raya: “Should I release the ball immediately while City players are out of position and we can ease the build-up? Nah, I’ll wait and make sure we lose the ball”

I don’t know what it is, and I am 100% serious on my life, I always find myself nodding off watching City. They’re so fecking boring. So fecking boring. Efficient, yes, but it’s analogous to when the first AI beat the human chess champion. This is the football equivalent to me. A team that has perfected the algorithm is now here.

It makes me so angry because I genuinely have to make a black coffee to get through their matches these days. I think Haaland was the final piece. You wouldn’t get a Kompany last minute screamer with this current iteration. Just pass pass pass pass 70+% possession.

feck me.

Boring game. Both teams neutralizing themselves.
Really missing the gang-ho style of Klopp's Liverpool

Both teams just don't want to lose. Very boring but Arsenal looking like they have a little bit more potency in them.

Arsenal should have had 3 yellow cards already

He's far from alone, sadly.

Watching City v Arsenal, possibly the best two teams in the PL, boring. How many mistakes against pieces of skill. Mistakes winning about 40v0
But if there's a goal we only have to wait five minutes to see if someone is 1mm offside.
It is boring as feck to be fair. At least when it was City vs Liverpool they were a bit blood and thunder. This is more Camembert vs Brie

Ref will have his cards listed as New on eBay tonight.

The whole game is such a far cry from THIS:

Someone remarked that all of those incidents would get 3 straight reds, 3 double yellows and 6 single yellows by today's standards.

One of the worst halves of football this season, and I've watched a lot of Chelsea games.

Arteta creating the same robotic football as Pep, and with all the dirty tricks.
