A weird situation with the penalty. Very unfortunate. He has been good all season, though, and that counts for something. And a good cross for the goal.

Tricky wide player can beat a full back on an occasion, especially one more used to playing on the other side. Bigger picture is he's been consistently good all season, playing every game when the rest of the defence are dropping like flies, and he's been error free for months but inevitable once he has a single slip up the knives are outThe issue here is you only see the slip, not the phase before that where he was destroyed.
Unfortunate? It was brainless. Palmer ruined him more than once and then he got skinned for the equaliser. Cost us the win.A weird situation with the penalty. Very unfortunate. He has been good all season, though, and that counts for something. And a good cross for the goal.
He should just foul the player and take the yellow outside the box. It wasn’t a pen, but running after a player inside the box like that can and will cause issues. Was prepared to come in here to praise him for his peach of a cross for Brunos goal. The pen at the end was really unlucky but man, he really got skinned before that. Hopefully, it won't rattle him too badly.
He's been ok this season, people always overate him for some reason though .... very dumb mistake, if it doesn't happen, we most likely winHe tripped over Mudueke's trailing leg. Costly mistake tonight but he's been great this season. Let's put the pitchforks down, eh?
Yeah Chelsea's best player was playing against him. He had the hardest task of our players defensively and he certainly wasnt great today but he did better than a lot of our defensive players would against Palmer with no help from a winger tracking back, and against Madueke coming off the bench. That has to be taken into consideration. Only a top defensive leftback would have had a good game with the workload he got without any help from Garnacho. I dont think anyone is suggesting he's a top 5 leftback in the world. But he's been versatile and very good this season and put in a great cross for Fernandes' goal.Unfortunate? It was brainless. I'm blaming him for the fourth goal, for bursting into their box like a headless chicken and losing the ball. Are people seriously blaming him for that penalty? The softest ever
Soft but never being overturned. There was contact and it's a clear pen and clear mistake. Are people seriously blaming him for that penalty? The softest ever
Yeah you're probably right. But hindsight is always a bit 20/20. Hopefully, he'll learn from it and react to it next time he's in a similar position. I thought, the winger did really well in the situation too, he was fresh, Dalot probably was a bit tired by then.He should just foul the player and take the yellow outside the box. I think saying he is painfully average is a bit harsh, he is in with a good shout of being our player of the year. At right back he is a very good player, a lot better than I once gave him credit for.Capable of being quality but always a mistake in him and regularly switches off at vital times just like AWB. Both painfully average.
Maybe ‘painfully average’ was a bit harsh. He’s had half-decent moments but he’s not set the world alight at all. He’s always capable of a feck up.I think saying he is painfully average is a bit harsh, he is in with a good shout of being our player of the year. He was one of our better players before that feck up.Had a shocker today
Well look at the comments above and you’ll see that many fans would have him as their POTY. Do you listen to Talk of the Devils? They feel the sameMaybe ‘painfully average’ was a bit harsh. He’s had half-decent moments but he’s not set the world alight at all. He’s always capable of a feck up.
There’s not many candidates for player of the year but Evans, Mainoo and Garnacho are streets ahead of him. If he’s a contender for player of the year then our problems are bigger than I thought.
Yeah I can see plenty of posters saying it but I’m surprised. Granted, he’s been better this season but not top quality. I guess it just shows how far our standards have fallen that people think Dalot is top level. Maybe I need to set my expectations lower.Well look at the comments above and you’ll see that many fans would have him as their POTY. Do you listen to Talk of the Devils? They feel the same
He is allowing the ref to blow his whistle no matter how soft it is. If he is ever going to pass you there, he has to be pressured towards the corner flag at least so he is not entering the only space without a million red shirts towards goal. When he has passed you, you can not with 3 points at this level be so desperate to fix your error that you risk a penalty. If you have 1 point you are risking less and it's atleast debateable. You only sprint into someone outside the box when you lead by one goal. Are people seriously blaming him for that penalty? The softest ever
