You certainly don’t engage with positivity when trying to antagonise when we score instead of just enjoying the goals for what they are.I enjoyed the peace and quiet and lack of moaning.
There’s a difference between doing something when we are winning, a positive experience for us all no? And doing it right after a loss of that manner.
It’s great to see what exactly?
A poster that is generally positive and contextualises things now not be so positive?
Is there enjoyment to be had from suffering? Is there enjoyment to be had in experiencing results like tonight for example?
I think it’s becoming more and more clear that my efforts to engage with positivity in the football forums are in vain.
Good night. Enjoy whatever tonight has been for you.
Correct. I mean I watched Garnacho break 70 yards, win a corner, and then 10 seconds later track back 70 yards full pelt to mark a free man on the counter. And this just repeats over and over again but people are shocked that we are super susceptible to muscle injuries and run out of gas later in games.I just think who ever plays were would just play far too open. It’s crazy to watch out matches and what goes on, the back and for in todays match was mental to watch and it seems to be like that all the time and comes down to who takes chances first or most. I’m not sure how much better quality players will change that style, might just give us a slightly higher percentage chance of it swinging our way
Nothing more needs to be said. Look at the teams conceding more/less shots then look at their respective positions in the table.Tweet

Very worrying. To put in context what this looks like compared to the rest of the PL
I wouldn’t even put it on the back 4 at this point. He’s going to get sacked because he’s trying to ride it out playing the way he envisioned but the players can’t do it. I seem to be the only alarmed that the way he wants to play is more or less how most managers at big clubs are expected to play, so unless they actually do appoint Southgate, the same things will be expected from these players by the next manager. The only way that happens is if INEOS look at how Arsenal handled Aubameyang (there was nothing unusual about it btw) and start to build new standards that way.But you didn’t you say it was Martinez (and shaw) thst we were missing and it would change with those? And it’s because we had to play Maguire then we couldn’t see what ten hag wanted to do.
No they aren't. In fact, many are expected to play quite a bit differentI wouldn’t even put it on the back 4 at this point. On reflection you’re right. If I didn’t post what I did then I wouldn’t have had any response back. You certainly don’t engage with positivity when trying to antagonise when we score instead of just enjoying the goals for what they are.
we all want United to win that’s obvious, it’s just funny to see you get so worked up after trying to antagonise just minutes before
Quotes?What's his latest ?
I don't know how you can blame the players for a system even AI and computer simulations would reject as unworkable.Bye Erik. Have no ill will towards him at all and I blame the players more than anything but I don't know what he's trying to do here. His signings have been shit and his tactics bizarre.
I think you blame him for us being involved in five 4-3 matchesSo do we blame him for going 2-0 down, cheer him for getting us to 3-2 after 99mins and then blame him again for conceding 2 in 30seconds?
Is that how it works?
We’re lost, most of the dressing room will know he’s probably dead man walking and the mentality of this lot is they just want their summer holidays, some like Rashford doesn’t even want to play in the Euros and more importantly don’t deserve to, Both Cole Palmer and Antony Gordon should be in the 23/26 man squad over Rashford.I hope Sir Jim calls him aside straight after the match and gives him his P45
Completely and utterly unacceptable
I'd be very interested in the stats of number of games where we've shot ourselves in the foot this season by throwing away a lead through stupid mistakes. It cost us in the CL, you'd think we'd have learnt from it - clearly not
I wouldn't be upset if he took a good few of these players with him when shown the door
The one good thing he can do now is keep us out of Europe all together as I think CL is well and truly gone at this stage - despite the lifeline of 5 places.
I can see us loosing to Coventry because we will treat them with the same lack of respect we did Brentford, lack of work rate included. Oh look what happened as a consequence...
All good, I don’t think the way we’re playing is making anyone happyOn reflection you’re right. If I didn’t post what I did then I wouldn’t have had any response back.
@Dr. Dwayne we’re good. I was nudging people one way so it was going to come back at some point. The timing was what felt worse.
Dont poke and not expect to be poked back. Lesson learnt.
Truth be told it’s exhausting being the one to fact check, contextualise and explain where some criticism is unwarranted or misleading.
I’ve mad a concerted effort to try and add some positivity to this part of the forum and I’m not sure anyone really wants that and I think it’s just making me miserable to try and combat it.
To be clear I’m not a Ten Hag fanatic and I’m certainly not paid by him. I genuinely wanted to introduce some positives, acknowledge context and at least let him be blamed for things in his control.
Enjoy
What did Garnacho’s part in the opening goal remind you of? Fine, sack the manager it’s inevitable at this point, and I’m not saying we should sell Garnacho, but that sort of thing has now become acceptable at this club and it was that way before Ten Hag was appointed. If you know the soul of this club, you should be heartbroken by things like that. Managers for the most part come and go, but Garnacho after he lost the ball for the first goal is a microcosm of what’s wrong with this club. There are three standard bearer clubs in the Premier League at the moment, and that doesn’t happen there. I don’t have to tell you how quickly that would get stamped out when we were the standard bearers in the Premier LeagueCorrect. I mean I watched Garnacho break 70 yards, win a corner, and then 10 seconds later track back 70 yards full pelt to mark a free man on the counter. And this just repeats over and over again but people are shocked that we are super susceptible to muscle injuries and run out of gas later in games.
It really reminds me of that Leeds/Bielsa style from a few years ago. Just suicide ball, with man marking everywhere and endless end to end action. It's great if your Leeds and just want to stay up and entertain fans, but it's maddening when you're United where Top 4 should be a given and you want to challenge the best teams in the biggest competitions.
Log off and go to bedOn reflection you’re right. If I didn’t post what I did then I wouldn’t have had any response back.

For fecks sake man Garnacho came off in the 86th minutes because his legs were gone and Mount was effective. At least pay attention. His subs are atrocious. No need to take of our two goal golden boy to bring on grim face rashford. Sends the wrong message.
Fully agree!People comparing this to other managers post-SAF are wide off the mark.
We have never been this bad before. We are a terrible footballing side.
13th in xPTs. We've conceded the most or 2nd most shots in the league.
It's unreal how bad ETH's management has been this season.
Wrong. Watch City, Arsenal and Liverpool. They work their socks off to close down gaps in the midfield, they’re disciplined in their position and most importantly of all, their counter press is organized and tireless. Thats the basics of modern progressive football. If you want to say Ten Hag should have realized this ain’t happening, I’m right there with you, but you’re dead wrong if you think the next manager won’t want to do the same things, unless of course it’s Southgate. No they aren't. In fact, many are expected to play quite a bit different
We've replaced like 3/4 of the team since Rangnick was at the club? Its open heart surgery as RR said 2 years ago. We need a whole new team. Garnacho and Mainoo are worth keeping but all the rest need replacing.
There's more than two managers out there. I doubt either of those names are real possibilities. Ten Hag is done, I don't see INEOS risking another season of this shite. If the choices are Southgate or Potter, then just take any transfer power away from Ten Hag and give him another season.
But how many managers do we need to fail under before you accept the problem is deeper than just one individual? It can be both. I don't think he's the right manager and I don't think a lot of these players have the right mentality. Both can be true.I don't know how you can blame the players for a system even AI and computer simulations would reject as unworkable.
They running for this guy and trying to bridge massive spaces. It is not workable with this squad and should have been binned 5* over this season.
Liverpool will be out for blood; they won't entertain another basketball game, but we'll go out there and provide them with the conditions to thrive anyway, then the players will be blamed moreso than the manager.
Hahahahahaha Amen! There should be a poll to decide if the insufferable Ten Hag cultists should be banned.
We've practically done that already. Turns out building a top team takes more than just selling a load of players and buying a load more. Just ask Chelsea how their drastic rebuild is going. Its open heart surgery as RR said 2 years ago. We need a whole new team. Garnacho and Mainoo are worth keeping but all the rest need replacing.
I think that’s fair we mostly don’t play well. We’ve had some good performances though with ETH. It’s crazy how big a difference in feeling there is between the Liverpool match and tonight. We go from massive highs to equal lows within a few weeks. This is where I disagree. These really good performances are few and far between. I don't think it's a case of use being inconsistent but we're pretty consistently mediocre imo.
Typo. I meant taking off Garnacho when match was still not over further reduced our threat, and bringing on Rashford for Hujland early in the 2nd half basically took us down to 10 men.For fecks sake man Garnacho came off in the 86th minutes because his legs were gone and Mount was effective. At least pay attention.
The worst manager we've had post-SAF.Tweet

Can’t just look at Chelsea and say, let’s never sign numerous players in a window because it didn’t work for them. We've practically done that already. Turns out building a top team takes more than just selling a load of players and buying a load more. Just ask Chelsea how their drastic rebuild is going.
But we aren't disciplined in position and our counter press isn't organized, while we care far less about prioritizing our possession as well instead going incredibly vertical to the point where we wear down our attackers by the 60th minute of every game because we refuse to ever attempt to exert control. On top of that we man mark every thing out of possession creating endless gaps and spaces across the midfieldWrong.
Whilst he can’t be directly blamed for Dalot tripping an attacker or no one closing down Chelsea’s star player from a corner, I thought he went too defensive in the last 15 minutes. We seemed to go from a 4-3-3 to a 4-5-1 and most of our threat on the break vanished. I’d have moved Bruno to the false 9 position and played Rashford left, giving us more of a direct counter-threat.It's pretty clear that ETH has to be relieved of duty at season's end, although I his replacement better be up to the job, but I don't know that we can pin this one on him. We can go back in time and catalog all the errors in his management that results in the correct conclusion he must not be allowed back at OT after the final whistle this season but tonight it was a combination of simple mistakes by players and horrifying referee decisions that handed the chavs three points they did not deserve.
There isn’t a number. All they can do is cry bloody murder with not an ounce of understanding of what’s been done to this club. Managers get sacked, so will Ten Hag, but the long term damage the Glazers have done to this wonderful club is absolutely heartbreaking. I wish I was too ignorant to see it.But how many managers do we need to fail under before you accept the problem is deeper than just one individual? It can be both. I don't think he's the right manager and I don't think a lot of these players have the right mentality. Both can be true.
