What was that? I don’t buy the “well, I can see what he’s trying to do” stuff. If he genuinely thinks sticking to this is the way to go in the hope that this shower somehow manages to understand and thrive in these tactics then he’s delusional, I’m afraid.

We really don’t need to keep up this experiment until May. It’s not going to magically click between now and then. Get through the season, get rid of who he can get rid of and start again in the summer, playing a style that suits the squad he has at his disposal. It’ll be 2-3 years before his preferred style is playable.

He simply has to improve. Even if the results aren't going for you initially there should be an improvement in the style of football. That's what got Klopp time as you could see a plan coming into place. Our football has gone down the last few games and I am not even sure what we are trying to do. Going from 4 attackers (Amad at RWB) to 3 with Maz and Dalot playing as wingbacks has made us limp. He needs to stop being so defensive and show more attacking intent.
Let's see how he is able to pull us out of this rut. The pressure if going to mount if the results and the performances do not improve.

You can see he is a good manager, but my fear is that he won't get the time or funds/players to turn it around before the end of the year. The current bunch just CAN'T play in the system he wants them to.
They are incapable of running it at even a competent level.

we were supposed to win the ties against Bournemouth & Wolves to gain momentum against Newcastle & Liverpool, but it seems more losses are coming this way.

The clearout has to be comprehensive. Complete scorched earth. It should be an almost unrecognizable squad by the time the new season starts in August 2025. If Ineos are serious they put their money where their mouth is over the next 2 windows.

I think he needs to temperately deviate from his philosophy of playing 343. It doesn't work because he doesn't have the players with the right skillset.

Any coach that only uses one system should be deemed inflexibile. That's a weakness in football. Ancelotti, Mourinho, Wenger, Ferguson, Benitez, Conte, Klopp regularly tweaked their systems and tactics.

It's becoming harder and harder to see the current group of players as suiting Amorim's requirements. If club isn't willing or able to fully clear it out quickly, why did they go for him?
