Really wish Amir Ibragimov was older and ready for the 1st team.. would have been perfect replacement for Amad now

Imagine Kone in midfield while Casemiro sits on the bench:eek:.
God alone knows how we are going to set up tomorrow.

So with the bad news i'm thinking this line up?

    Onana
Dorgu, Yoro, De Ligt, Maz, Dalot
    Casemiro Bruno
    Eriksen Garnacho
    Hojlund

In regards to the usual "no more excuses" posters.

How does losing 4 of our midfielders in between matches count? Just "another excuse" if we struggle without them all? Or can we at least acknowledge that it's a huge blow worthy of valid comment, rather than just an "excuse".

Amad and Mainoo out for the season. Two players who made it somewhat tolerable to watch us play. Think I'll just forget we're playing now and call it a day for the season.

Those posters need to drink a bottle of cop on.

Personally I blame 3-4-3 for these injuries, if we played 4-3-3 this wouldn't never happened. Gosh darnit!

Amad could be gone for the season which would be a massive blow but Mainoo is only expected to be out for a few weeks according to what I've read.

In light of injuries, my ideal lineup and formation (which will never be picked) would be:

    Bayindir
    Maz, De Ligt, Yoro
    Dalot, Casemiro, Bruno, Eriksen, Dorgu
    Zirkzee/Hojlund, Garnacho

    3-5-2

Didn’t we sign Heaven in part because he wanted to play midfield rather than as a CB which is how Arsenal saw him. Would he be a possible option in there tomorrow?

"F**k it! We'll play all the kids!"
    "F*****g first team squad SUCKS!"

Would love to know what Amorim has been making us do in training this week to get all these injuries.

This is why you don’t loan out all your squad players with replacements in the January window
We are being run by muppets. And they almost gave away Garnacho as well.
There is no way Anthony and Rashford should have been loaned out without at least one replacement.
We are definitely in a relegation battle at this rate.

Antony and Rashford were both shit though so we’d still be crap. Longer term loaning them out was correct as we need rid of them both once and for all in the summer. I’d rather see a younger player given a go than Antony and we won’t be any worse off.

So who from the U-18 and U-21s is going to make the step up? Looks like the youth movement is coming.

Issue isn't loaning out Antony and Rashford (who both where shit and basically not playing). It was not bringing anyone in, that was a very stupid decision.

    Onana
    De Ligt-Harry-Yoro
    Garnacho-Mazraoui-Bruno-Dorgu
    Eriksen-Zirkzee
    Rasmus

    Onana

    Mazraoui De Ligt Yoro

    Dalot Kone Bruno Dorgu

    Zirkzee Obi Garnacho
    Or have the front line

    Moorhouse Zirkee Garnacho

We’ve basically lost 2 bodies and not replaced them.
This is the physical premiership where a big squad is required.
I’m just fuming at the way this club is being run at the moment.

My guess is Casemiro and Bruno and the two central midfielders with Eriksen and Garnacho as the number 10’s.

Not an appealing prospect but I think the likes of Kone, Moorhouse etc will more likely be on the bench.

I give up on people calling most of our players shit.
At least Anthony gives his all unlike Rashford, it’s not his fault that Woodward paid 80m for him.
You need squad players in the PL as you can not have world class players that will happily sit on the bench every week
The problem with this club is the Management, the Glazers and stingy SJR and his bunch of Ineos muppets.

I guess the only 'positive' of the timing of Amad's injury is that it's come just after we've signed Patrick Dorgu, so at least we still have one left footed wing back.

But obviously such a huge blow that we can't play both - or benefit from Amad in the #10 role.

Any team without him looks worse. And remove our first three options for the CM's at the same time and, bloody hell, it looks a depressing line up. And that's before we even consider the lack of depth on the subs bench.

Antony was shit for us though and given he only played about 130 minutes of football in the league this season he wasn’t even a squad player, just making up the numbers.

We had no one to replace Amad with or without Antony, it’s pointless complaining about him not being here.
