Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

I saw this coming from his appointment

All those who backed him deserve this!

I think the job is too big for him unfortunately. His coaches are not up to standard either, they were in the championship.

All the squad need to go too

Today is the day, where I genuinely think I’ve turned on him unfortunately. His game management at 2-0, when we’re being dominated, and him not changing anything at all - is sackable.

I’ve defended him every single time. But this is just awful management.

Sack him please, this is disgusting. He’s a spoofer, playing with his tactics board, feck off you fraud.

He should have made changes in midfield when we were 2-0 up and when Lyon started to take control of the game.

At 2-0 up we were comfortable, he didn’t need to make any changes in the midfield. They scored out of nowhere. Who do you bring off the bench to change this game? Mainoo possibly the only one.

Some of you don’t deserve to see good times again. You want everything now without any work.

There’s isn’t a quick fix.
Load of bollocks. There's a very big middle ground between expecting everything immediately, and turning us into a team barely above rekegation.

A goal down and playing against 10 men at home and still playing 3 at the back.

This is not a serious manager.

Agreed. He's too young and inexperienced.

That and him not good enough can both be true.
I've seen people blaming him, Amorim, for playing too few attackers.

Is he a magician, where he can just pull them out of his ass? Cause there aren't any attackers to play...

We were not comfortable. We were playing on the counter and they had more possession.

how many more of these players need more chances under other mangers, get rid of the lot of them. Not good enough.

Can't wait for some staff members to turn this into a positive, all part of the masterplan.

Bottling a 2-0 lead to Lyon at home and then losing when they are down to 10 men.

Amorim has not just been bad. He's absolutely embarrassed this club. If he isn't sacked, then it's clear Ineos and Berrada have no clue of what it takes to succeed.

Good thing we still have five defenders on to keep things tight at the back.

Yeah, that's really something that you just can't look past by, how he sticks with his formation no matter what, you would think it has won him 6 world cups and 10 champions leagues it's quite something. He looks more stubborn than someone like Pep which is quite something for someone that hasn't achieved that much as a manager yet. We have 1 player more in the extra time at home pitch and we are really not outnumbering them at any part of the pitch.

Really worrying now.

That and him not good enough can both be true.

This is fair, but it needs to be stated, no manager is making this horrible squad successful, there's not much athleticism, not much ability, it's laughably bad.

It may well not be Amorim that takes us forward, as it wasn't with Ten Hag, but this group of players aren't taking us anywhere

I think he will leave and Jimmy rat will walk too end of the season. It's been an utter disaster

His tactics would be the same even if there was....

Seeing Berrada and Wilcox squirming in their seats said a lot.

They've bet the house on this guy and the idea he can now command this dressing room and restore belief in him, his methods...it looks ambitious. Losing this tie against 10, at home after leading 2-0 at halftime.

I honestly think he wants the sack with his stubborn approach to tactics.

Worst I've ever felt as a United fan. Last season was bad enough, but this one? I can't even process the pain.
