Difference between a good keeper and not… Onana wouldn’t have saved Garno’s effort

That tackle by Adams has been a red card all season. Semenyo was nowhere near the ball and it's a penalty.

Do you really think that if we got another manager we’d actually be better? We’d be better for a few games or so and then the usual shot would happen.
It's a risk I acknowledge, but there is no risk here... It isn't working and there aren't really any signs he can get a tune out of this squad.

Just watched the goal. It sums up everything I dislike about Shaw as a defender. When Dorgu loses the ball, he has no energy to close to down the first Bournemouth attacker. Then when the ball goes to the goal scorer, there is no acceleration to close him down either. He systematically leaves too much space for the opposition to play in the final third. It's something I've always disliked about him.

Corner Utd and all the way back to Onana
It’s about the only time we’ve mastered this season , the amount of times I’ve seen us start an attack , build it to the edge of the box and end up with us passing it back to Onana is insane

And we all thought that AWB was bad on the ball. Only we can sell full back with bad technique and buy even worse.

How many teams have done the double against us so far this season?

It's more to do with the poor technical level of the team and this stupid instance on building from the back. Palace doesn't hesitate to pump it forward

It is players being stupid and cowardly. That goal was stupid from the beginning. Why does Shaw stand behind the keeper instead of going forward, and what does Onana play the ball to him. These are two experienced players playing like school kids making the most dumb mistakes.

I think that this is very fair criticism. I want the ball played forward and into the more creative players much quicker. If one person from defence has to break the lines from defence to midfield, then great. All this sideways, backwards passing just plays us into trouble. Our attacking players have to constantly drop back and we end up playing deeper and deeper.
My understanding of the ETH legacy was that playing a 'high line' meant everyone is always defending and no one attacks -- because in theory blundering a 1 goal score is a win. (This is soooo boring to watch)

There was a play back in the day with Rooney, Ronaldo and Tevez on the center line and they all break as the ball is passed forward. There isn't a single fast player on this team. There's not one with any ball control. I'm actually not sure who out there besides Bruno can shoot on goal.

Makes you wonder what Utd was thinking when they bought these players. I can't help but think there was a want to be different/unique/ground-breaking and all they got were mid-table. Plus it must be easier to manage these pedestrian players than it is to manage Rooney/Ronaldo/Tevez/etc etc.

Ref letting our players getting wrestled to the ground with no ball around...

Reality check that we won’t win the Europa league when we can’t beat Bournemouth.
Momentum and adrenaline might do it. The success of the manager’s time here essentially rides on those three games. We have to win it.

I don't think we've been as poor, so far anyway, as some have suggested. We've been punished for one mistake but not much between us otherwise.

I never like to jump on a young new signing but Dorgu lacks a lot of the qualities we’d need in a wing back. Amad way more promising

We paid €30m for Dorgu. Christ. He's the type of player you take a punt on if available on the cheap, not for that sort of money.

I have no idea bro. They're fecking dumb

Very accurate post. I think Wilcox is not scrutinized enough for this signing. Woeful.
