Brentford are a bit of a selling club aren’t they? As in that’s their business model - identify talent, develop it with an easy route to premier league football and then dont be arseholes and block a big move when it arrives for the player.
It's not looking good for or chances if we are waiting for the money from Garnacho to come in to join the race. If the club and the manager have agreed that he is the player we need, we need to act fast. Given his improving G/A record, improving year by year, there will be plenty of takers from PL.
You can say that about literally any player in the team, we have a thin squad of poor quality so losing of any good player is going to hit hard. Signing Mbeumo for £50m+ is going to be a signing for the first 11, not squad depth.
I just can't be bothered to go through history, hence 'make of it what you will', I believe them from my memory, they got things right last summer very early (not saying broke them before Ornstein)
Kana-Biyik was recent, not a major transfer obviously, but I read it there first

Peak age, good record both in terms of contributions and fitness, pace and work rate in abundance and also Brentford will know contract expires June 2026 (with option of further year) so for them this is probably the window they sell to reinvest.

Ok with this guy and Cunha, I'm happy with Delap. Form a Cunha-Zirkzee-Mbuemo front three. That will be reminiscent of Mane Firmino Salah.

I remember watching some last 40 shots videos of different attackers, and Mbeumo, Cunha, Isak and Kane were easily the most impressive. Having Cunha and Mbeumo will transform our attack and is a great response after a poor goal scoring season

Adding him to Cunha behind a decent striker would be excellent. I'd even accept missing out on other positions if we could do this.

Hmmm seems to be more links going on. Was skeptical, but this would indicate to me that Amad will go to wing back? Or just one of Cunha/Mbuemo would go up top which doesn't seem to fit what Amorim wants.

It's basically Mount, Zirkzee, Casemiro, Mainoo, Dalot and Maguire as the senior depth while Heaven, Fredricson, Amass and Chido are the youth fillers who won't demand as many minutes but will still get some for development. Could work.
