Hope this is indeed true. CH usually knows his onions.

Even if he is a bit lazy IMO, Fergie could certainly teach that of him. He's got a fantastic technique, is a good finisher, intelligent player and great passing ability. Can hold the ball up and a very good header as well.

I think he can offer variety in attack. And, I've got my cock out.
Seconded. But I dont think that he will carry on being a lazy cnut when playing for a team like united.

No way that would happen. Too many big star egos to keep happy. Even if Sheva moves on, I can't see Anelka happy playing 3rd choice to Drogba & Berbatov.
Well if Berbatov joins United, who'll be happy sitting on the bench?
Rooney or Tevez?

Flawlessthaw, it wasn't about later in his career though - it was about if we couldn't get the deal done in the summer just gone- (in relation to Tevez/West Ham)

They'll be rotated. I can however see us playing a similiar formation to Barcelona with not actually having any real wingers. Rooney although not his best position can play on the left and ronnie on the right with Tevez in the hole and Berbatov upfront.

Though common sense says you'll have the 4 men of Saha, Berbatov, Tevez and Rooney duking it out for 2 places. Of which Saha will be used as an impact player on the bench with the other 3 continually rotating. We'd probably see a fitter and more realible Rooney if that was the case, as he wouldn't be playing 15+ games in a row.

Did Saha pull a hamstring on his way to the line up or something?

That's how we played in 2002-2003 when we had Ruud up front with Giggs, Ole and Scholes behind him.

factor nani, giggs, park, nev in and you're looking at the real deal in terms of squad. Maybe a player short defensively but enough to go for the 2 big ones

Well, but to come back to the topic.
If we really manage to get him, then that squad would have one of the best and most attackin players in the world, wouldnt it?

Without comparing talent individually, what would people rather, a qaurtet of:

Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo and Berbatov?

Ronaldinho, Messi, Henry and Eto'o?

Or, the the favourite...

Kuyt, Torres, Crouch and Voronin.

On a serious note, i think we would have the better four, just.

Of course, you'll noticed i was rather biased and included Ronaldo instead of Saha, but i'm thinking in terms of all four on the pitch at the same time.

... Rangers man Hutton to is going to Spurs, reports on Clyde radio. £8M fee agreed.
...
If this is true, and it seems like it might be, doesn't it make the alleged Brown-to-Spurs move sound less plausible?

After all, who is going to be your RB if Brown were to go? And would Spurs wants both of them, even if Brown can also play CB?
