How many places did Kimi give Massa this year? it was in 2 races wasn't it?

Massa gave away places last year too. Has Hamilton ever been handed a place?

Thats fairly conclusive I think. Clearly not a fix. This has still ruined my weekend though.

Won less races than Massa, so its arguable.

No reason for all the laughing at Massa's family either. Hate Ferrari if you want but why laugh at them? He appeared to have won the World Championship, and suddenly they realized he hadn't. Why is that gif so hilarious?

Absolutely.

I'm a Hamilton fan.

I think he deserved the championship. Harshly judged and lost points. I think he should have won even finishing 6th - the points and the win that he lost when the win was handed to Massa would have settled that so that would have been unbelievably harsh.

Massa had Raikonnen's help to win, and Hamilton had noone's help - certainly not Kovalinen who was a huge disappointment.

Massa had some technical problems throughout the season and lost points there. He is a very talented racer and will give Lewis food for thought next which could be interesting as new rules mean many drivers could come to the fore:

Vettel - up and coming
Massa = something to prove to consider himself a champion
Raikonnen - something to prove
Alonso - amazing last few races so in contention if provided with a car
Hamilton - more assurety as a driver

:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

You mean this one:

That is just funny mate. No one was hurt, or lost anything. Just a bunch of silly foreigners celebrating prematurely.

I was mainly talking about the second one, but the first one is hardly better. If you want to laugh at Ferrari then fine, but leave Massa and his family out of it. The guy could hardly have been any more gracious in defeat yet you still find reason to laugh at him. By all means celebrate Hamilton's victory, but there is no need to laugh at Massa, especially given the way he has dealt with the whole situation. Very small time.

No one is laughing at Massa or his family. Their integrity is not in question, they just celebrated prematurely, and it is as funny as feck.

The quality of the top five or six drivers is first rate, never seen such depth in F1 before. The teams seems to be tightening up a little as well. McClaren and Ferrari are out in front but the chasing teams aren't far behind.

Next few years could be very exciting in F1.

There is a GIF of Massa about to burst into tears, and people are laughing at it. That, in my book, equates to people laughing at Massa. Same with the GIF of his Dad and brothers. Yes, the Ferrari people celebrating is quite amusing, but his father and brothers? Not in my book.

Well you obviously don't have a Mancunian sense of humor because I am sure that had them rolling on the floor around Manchester.

I would laugh just the same if it were Hamilton's family. All good jokes/laughs are at someones expense. life sucks.

Look don't get me wrong, I'm game for laugh and a lot of the time it does come at peoples expense. But IMO Massa is undeserving of it. If he'd acted like a twat, ala Alonso then fine, he would have asked for it. But he's been nothing but professional and good graced through out. So laughing at him seems a bit small time to me. I'd rather savour and celebrate Hamilton's victory, then laugh at Massa, maybe thats just me, I dont know.

No one is laughing at Massa. Its the priceless comedy timing of Massa's people jumping around celebrating a win, at the same time McClaren's people are in the pit lane doing the same thing.

Crazy thing is they have the screens there with live race info. It must have been fairly obvious who came in 5th.

You celebrate Hamilton's win all you want.....me, I actually enjoyed that moment in the Ferrari garage more than anything else today.

Fact is Hamilton did bottle it. He was down and out in a race he only had to finish 5th until Glock stopped.
Jesus, he's 23 years old, and the youngest winner ever...the commentator said he drove a very mature race, and if he was cautious (i.e. bottling it) then who can blame him.

He nearly won it last year and it's a feckin' great achievement for someone in only their second season.

You didn't chuckle at John Terry in tears and the GIFs of that did you? GTFO!

Yes I can understand that is funny. Laugh all you like at the Ferrari people.

But laughing at Massa and his family isn't

Totally different situation.

John Terry is a very hatable person, the way he conducts himself on and off the pitch, the fact that he put himself into the position to be the hero, the way he kept playing with his captain's armband etc Like I said when I mentioned Alonso, he set himself up for that and deserved everything he got.

Massa, on the other hand, has conducted himself impecably, and been nothing but gracious in defeat. So why people feel the need to laugh at him is beyond me. Like I said, if Massa had been twatish about it all or done something to upset Hamilton's fans (i.e Alonso) then yes he would be deserving of a good deal of laughter, but the face is he hasn't. Why not just celebrate Hamilton's win?

Ahh OK....missed the sarcasm. Not sure Glock needs to explain anything.

Bitter anti Hamilton/McClaren fans need to move on and celebrate a great Ferrari Team world championship. Big respect for Massa in the way he handled a very hard to take defeat.

Should be a great 2009.
Haha, was wondering what you were going on about!

Said before, but yes, Massa was amazing despite defeat, what a sportsman. Great role model.

Glock needs to explain feck all. He lost pace on the last lap, that is all.

I defy anyone not to have laughed at first. Actually my first reaction was to shit it, because I was celebrating, and it made me question myself a second. I also didn't realise it was his dad, thought it was just Ferrari hanger ons

Given the grace Massa showed, I don't see any need to dwell on it though. They should really have been keeping their eye on events though, premature celebrations are always gunna get ripped

It's a shame so many off here, and many anti-Hamilton and Ferrari fans elsewhere, couldn't show the same grace Massa did

So glad to see Hamilton win it. The FIA did all they could to gift Massa the championship but it wasn't to be.

I like how people react on here because allot of there defence in disliking him cause he is very arrogant. Well he is the champion now does he have the right now to be arrogant like Fed, Nadal, Alonso, Ronaldo and so on.

I'm pissed off about what happened but the bottom line is: This sport died when Michael Schumacher retired.

 No the sport moved on, and its better for it. Schumacher's era was great if your a Ferrari/Schummi fan, average if you were anything else. 2007 & 8 have been the best in many many years.

Agreed. I even enjoyed last year when Lewis didn't even win. Great entertainment.
