Jury still out for Joshua though.
That is great news about James. Bad injuries can really disrupt players at this point - hoping for both of them to see lots of games.
King was out at the start of last season with an ankle injury sustained from a bad tackle in the Milk Cup. Unfortunately being the type of player he is, it's treatment he's going to have to expect.

Darren Ferguson believes loan duo Matt James and Josh King will be short-term absentees following the ankle injuries they picked up in Preston’s defeat at Burnley.
It was feared the Manchester United youngsters had suffered serious injuries, but the medical bulletin on both is more encouraging.
Neither will be fit to face Nottingham Forest at Deepdale tonight (7.45pm).
But there is a chance James could be back in time to face Norwich on Saturday.
And Ferguson is hopeful King’s absence won’t be longer than three weeks.
The 18-year-old striker was stretchered off in the first half at Turf Moor after being on the wrong end of a crunching challenge from Clarets left-back Danny Fox.
James followed him off in the same manner early in the second half.
Ferguson said: “Matt has had two scans and the results were both positive.
“Neither showed a break or any ligament damage.
“He’s going for a third scan and if he gets the all-clear, amazingly he could be fit for Saturday.
“That is huge news for both him and us as Matt has been fantastic since he came here.
“Josh hasn’t had his scan yet. He was in too much pain to have it done at the weekend. But we’re thinking two or three weeks for him.
“He’s had this type of injury before and come back in that time span.
“Josh is a young, fit lad, and they tend to heal a lot quicker.”

Preston seem to be v entertaining to watch this season.
King was at the reserve game last night with Diouf. He seems to try to get to all of them which is good to see.

That's good news. I expected James to be back first from the initial reports.
Awesome news.
Love the look of James from what I've seen, to be a stand out player in centre midfield in the championship at the age of 18 is hugely impressive.
Sky sports has them both available today.

Young Fergie: "It's the same ankle with Josh [King] and I think he is twisted it. We will assess him in the morning but Matt James will train with us tomorrow and he'll be fit for Saturday. He was at the game tonight, he's trained twice at Carrington and if he comes through Thursday and Friday he'll be fit for Saturday."
Thankfully most of them seem to speak sense as the thread's gone on. Good to see them revising their opinion of Welbeck somewhat as well.

This was obviously a 'fear' for a few of us, that injury was always a risk. They seriously need to do something with that Ankle. It's happening to frequently. Thankfully he's still very young and will get over it but something does need to be done.
James starts for PNE against Crystal Palace.
Preston on Sky tonight. Looks like King is still out, but James has started the last four, so I guess he'll play.
Excellent. I wasn't aware of that, so thanks. Will be my first chance to watch Preston live this season. Will be interesting to see how James is progressing.

This Preston team is shocking. Their passing and first touch is awful and theres absolutely no width. Near impossible for James to shine playing in that team

After coming back to United for treatment on his ankle injury King has now returned to Preston on loan until January 4th
That's a bit of a surprise. Half their team will either be current or ex-united players now that they have Pugh and Tonge on loan as well as De Laet, James and Gray.
