What was the Lampard? Annoying that TV no longer puts microphones by our away fans for fear of naughty words.

The first game I miss at Stamford Bridge for 4 years just happens to be our first win in 7 :(

Atmosphere sounded brilliant but we always outsing the rent boys completely. They were very, very quiet once we scored, and we still outsung them before the goal anyway.

I can't believe the commentators were saying how loud the Chelsea fans were and they were drowning us out. Sure I heard that at the start of the game?

I went mental saying are they for real?

I thought this was bizarre too. The commentator said it right in the middle of a United chant as well, very strange. I always remember when we played Scunthorpe, they literally barely chanted, but I watched some commentary of the game a few days later and they were congratulating the home fans for a 'stunning atmosphere', even though it was 90% United chants. Our away support is brilliant.

Our away support are criminally underrated by commentators. Match of the Day 2 made a point to show and laud the Blackpool fans singing at 3-0 down away to Fulham, and half of them were sitting down glumly. A couple of years back we were in the exact same spot, belted out songs for the entire second half to a man (apart from one or two dickheads who left), including "this is how it feels to be city" for the last 20 minutes, and not a word on any of the highlights I saw.

That last 20 minutes was one fo the best atmospheres I've been involved with.

Put my faith back into United fans that.

 My thoughts exactly at the time, it was clear as day the United fans were very loud for most parts of the game but particularly when The Artist Formerly Known as Red Clive said that.

Lost my voice abit today. Got abit of a sore throat. Never heard us that loud before. We was awesome and it looked like the players really appreciated it at the end.

Sounded great on tv. Liked that chant we seemed to be singing throughout the game

Na na na na

Hey eh ey
Man United

Simple but effective
Yeah, this seems to have only started recently, heard it at WH and also at the Chelsea game. Pretty simple really, our chants are usually more creative, but if it gets people singing then fair play.

I'm not anti Scottish, I just wanted Moyes out.

Nice one T2000!, This has made me change the impression I initially had about you after that mid game doom thread you started on Saturday.

Proper Red you are.

Sounded like 'Chico, Chico, Chico' when young Hernandez was subbed? When did that start?

Immense support well done everyone who attended. Spent most of the game laughing at the feeble support from the plastics. No wonder they were so poor - Roman didn't give them any little flags this time!

I was looking for that photo. Glad to say half of me is in it

Was the best of the season by a mile, absolutely brilliant night. The day was great as well, having drinks down by the Cottage in the morning having a kick about with a flat ball we found and then moved onto around Earls Court.

Agree with you Ralphie, that Lampard thing was a bit too far.

Lots of drinks and partying at Earls court before the game.

I noticed that the police loved to have a chat to all the United supporters and had a good laugh with us. No trouble what so ever.

A long walk through the biggest graveyard ever. I wondered where the police where taking us. Noticed just a few people walking over graves and even pissing on the odd one. Not good at all. The grave yard was quite stunning to be honest.

United players warming up. Beware flying footballs. No shit sherlock!

Some of the players who had travelled come and walked to us. Michael Owen was fantastic. He loved the attention and acknowledged us big time.

Anyone else notice the string of empty seats at the back of the stadium? Stamford bridge only sits less that 60,000 aswell. Embarrassing really.

Job done. The players gave us a great farewell. The steward at the bottom was the biggest guy i have ever seen in my life. When he walked up most of us just couldnt say anything. We was in shock with our mouths open.

There was one Chelsea fan who started to give abit of stick to us. He got so much abuse in the end and you could see he was embassed. He had a pony tail aswell. A chelsea fan at the left of him was pissing himself at the abuse this guy got. It was so funny. We sang "does your boyfriend know your here?" and "theres only one andy carroll!". :D

Great pictures! Stamford Bridge holds just over 40k though, so it's even more embarrassing than you thought.

I was sat just to the left of you T2000 and I must have just been out of the picture (to the left) when you took the pictures outside the pub.

Quality atmosphere - probably the best I have been involved in. No trouble from what I saw, all good natured and very, very enjoyable. Had a good laugh with all the Reds that I met as well as the few Chelsea fans I spoke to, except the Ginger Torres outside the ground.

I also noticed the four or five rows of emote seats at the back of the Matthew Hrding stand. Very strange and it seems as if they were not offered for sale rather than actually not being purchased.

T2000, that lad with the pony tail didn't look back at us ONCE after all the abuse 'Get your hair cut you cockney twat' and 'does your boyfriend know youre here' were quality.

Really did at points feel like a normal euro away (bar the obvious)... Sun, booze everywhere, mostly everyone congregating at the same area but for once the atmosphere was closer to a domestic. That Graveyard was fecking massive.

Saw quite a few jib as well, not surprised really, despite 3 lines of stewards not one checked us lot.

I got checked 3 times and they tried to take my Rice Krispie Square off me before I went in, as well as claiming that I had alcohol on me despite the fact that it was quite clearly a bottle of Lucozade.

You're right though - fantastic crowd and everyone seemed up for it. The weather and the congregating certainly helped
