    Know The Opposition

Association Football Club Bournemouth (nicknamed The Cherries and Boscombe) is a professional football club based in Bournemouth, Dorset. The exact date of the club's foundation is not known, but there is proof that it was formed as Bascombe FC in the autumn of 1899 out of the remains of the older Boscombe St. John's Lads’ Institute FC. Nicknamed The Cherries (Dean Court was built adjacent to the Cooper-Dean estate, which encompassed numerous cherry orchards), the team traditionally played in red shirts with white sleeves until 1971, when the strip was changed to red and black stripes, similar to that of AC Milan. The club was renamed in 1923 to Bournemouth and Boscombe Athletic F.C. in 1923, which was the name until 1972, when it becomes A.F.C. Bournemouth.

Bournemouth have won the second and third tiers of English football, and were twice runners-up of the fourth tier. They have also won the Football League Trophy, and the Football League Third Division South Cup. Bournemouth have spent the majority of their history bouncing between the third and fourth tier of English football. Under manager Eddie Howe, they have risen through the pyramid; the 2015–16 season was Bournemouth's first ever in England's top division. Bournemouth's biggest rivals are Brighton & Hove Albion, Reading FC and Southampton FC. They play their home games at Dean Court, Bournemouth — currently known as the Vitality Stadium.

After the thrashing against City Bournemouth have beaten 3, including Newcastle, and drawn against Villa. Need to play the same way again.

Can't wait for this game now, really can't come soon enough. I just hope no stupid injuries in training this week, no fall-outs, no crazy stuff just let us pick the team we want (Regilon for Lindelov) and go again in the same way.

Take note of Bournemouth’s recent form and results.
Beat Newcastle, Sheff Utd and Palace and earned a good draw against Villa and could have won it.
They’re on a good run ATM and shouldn’t be disrespected as an easy win.
They’ve also scored 9 against our 6, in the last 4 league fixtures.

The obvious team is the one that lined up the second half tonight, but don’t think you can run that back Saturday and then Tuesday too. Hojlund is the one I would maybe look to rotate out.

Please keep up the pressing from the front, and show the same resilience. Build on today and we will win. Take it as a gimmie - and we will get caught out. They are no mugs.

Bournemouth have 13 points from their last six Premier League games. They are an in-form team, so shouldn’t be underestimated. Still, it’s at Old Trafford, so I’m expecting a win.

Højlund was a massive part of why we won tonight. Swap in Rashford or Martial and we are back in the mud.

I could see shaw being rested considering he not long back from injury and Bayern during the week. Might depend on fitness of evans and lindelof. Other than that same side that started 2nd half

Winning 2-0 at Palace is quite impressive from them. I hope we continue with the same front 4 at the very least. I hope we don't rest players because of the Bayern match.

Bournemouth coming into this game in good form and won't be a poorly coached team as Chelsea was under Poch tonight.

2-0 win at home to Newcastle
3-1 win away to Sheffield United
2-2 draw at home to a Villa side who beat Man City tonight.
    2-0 win away to Palace.

Win against Bournmouth and announce the purchase of the club before the Bayern game and we could go on a streak of positivity

Second half team deserves to play, although I would still opt for Mainoo vs Bournemouth, it could be a good game for him to start.

With this Utd team, you don't know which version is going to turn up! Maybe replace Lindeloff with Evans and retain most of the team that started last night.

McTominay will play, so Mainoo won't start but we can do that against Bournemouth, not Liverpool!

Same team that played the second half. Let's try and repeat the performance. 3-1 United.

First game I've been to in a decade, mad to think last time I saw our first XI play I witnessed RVP's volley and the last title win. Let's hope it still feels just as magic.

Has to go with the same team surely?

Although the change with Shaw as a CB over Lindelof and Reguilon playing might be the one to at least end up with.

Will be seething if I see Rashford playing.

Wow, I hope you enjoy! A lot has changed since that night...but hopefully we will get back there one day (soon).

I'd say forget about the Bayern game, go with our 2nd half team (Regilon for Lindelov) and try to get this game done. Won't be easy but we need to build up momentum.

You'd have to expect a pretty straightforward win... until you remember it's United!

Let’s pick up where we left off on Wednesday night. We need to finally kick on and start stringing these sort of performances together on a consistent basis.

Spurs/Newcastle and Villa/Arsenal this weekend too, so win this and the table will look a tad healthier. Albeit before Anfield.

Swap Varane for AWB and that is actually a coherent side. I didn't think it was possible with these players.

Bournemouth have been pretty good, of late. They should've beaten Villa last week. We'll need to be right on it or this could be another banana peel of a game. If everything goes well, we could be in 5th place by the end of the week.
