No, but absolutely it's different story it's European final and our near future depends so much on this game considering our transfers, money, C.L football and adding a trophy so nerve is normal IMO.

We haven't beaten relegation teams at home this season.

Everything has been hard 'ucking work, including 3-2 against Southampton in the EC final. We are nowhere near comfortable enough to consider ANY game easy money. ANY game.

So yeah brah, I'm crapping myself coz we're playing an underdog on form who love to score goals whereas we struggle to score!

Anyone think any of the kids from Sunday could make a bench appearance? Mitchell could be a good sub for Darmian as a bit on an unknown quantity if we're looking to go a bit more attacking. Really don't wanna see Rooney coming of the bench if we're searching for a goal, he has 0 impact as a sub.

We have got good defense but upfront we cannot score easily. They have a weak defense but have good finishers upfront. It balances out. If we can keep a clean sheet which we managed to do a lot this season and scrap a goal or two in we will have a good chance of winning. We need concentration in defense and creativity in attack.

All respect to Ajax (seriously in the top 10 historically most important clubs in Europe imho).. BUT I really don't have the nerves left to watch a close game.. Just please blow them back to Amsterdam. 4-0 at HT or something. Zlatan coming on as a surprise sub in the last 30 seconds. Raucous applause from the Swedes, Martial scoring in the last second of injury time just to rub it in and get that confidence back for next season, Griezmann announcing on Twitter right after the whistle he s coming to Manchester, and SAF going nuts in the stands and Zlatan signing an extension. I'm not asking for much.

Had annoying nightmares about this game last night; it was on telly on Tuesday night even though the papers and websites said it's on Wednesday like it should be. The score kept changing all the time from 0-1 to them between 2-1 to us.

I blame the new Twin Peaks epiodes for this.

Obviously next season I expect a very different and much improved team. If we were in the last 16 vs Ajax this season, I would be just as worried as I am now.

I am very excited and looking forward to this game. On paper MU should win it comfortably, but Ajax has some brilliant young players and it would be dangerous to let them take the initiative.

Glad I'm not the only one! Had a nightmare last night where Ajax opened the scoring on 64 minutes, after DDG flapped at a cross and they headed it in. We weren't doing a lot to get back in the game and then I woke up... :nervous:

Well this feels different; our whole squad building exercise and possibly even Mourinho's long term future here could possibly be influenced by this game. The CL is a far better tournament but given the circumstances and how much is riding on this game, this feels bigger.
