That was disgraceful and saying "its fine we have an away goal" is exactly what's wrong with Manchester United.

We should be dominating these shit sides. Drawing with Rostov and Anderlecht, home OR away is disgraceful when you spent so much money on that squad.

Pogba was rubbish again. Couldn't make the simplest of passes at times and then missed that vital chance. Lingard hitting the post from that tap in is just unacceptable when you're getting paid 100k a week.

The team goals won't improve with ibrahimovic. His link play is dreadful. We need to get rid of him to improve.

Okay it's time for Mourinho to cut the shit with the team selection.

Why is Jesse Lingard starting a European match when Anthony Martial is fit?

Of course he's not going to play well when he gets 30 minutes at the end and he's consistently overlooked for a player of considerably less quality.

Enough with the Lingard/Academy fantasy. The kid isn't that great. Being an academy product shouldn't boost your stock.

Scholes, Neville(s), Giggs, Becks & now Rashford didn't play because they grew up here. They played because they were high quality and brought something to the first team. He brings NOTHING besides Instagram posts.

Also, if Jose wants to play an academy player, there's a guy named Fosu-Mensah who should be the first Midfielder off the bench! Why is Fellaini coming on instead of him?

    It's painful to watch.

Absolutely right, over paid , losing his consistence and concentration damn easy, a player at his price should be at least full focus all the 90mins.
I saw about 2 dozen positive pass options for him tonight yet he holds the ball and passes back to our defenders. There is no positive movement in attack and the majority of play always comes back to its origin. It's getting very hard to defend this squad.

Europa League is right level for this team, we don't deserve CL. I don't know why our managers never learn from their mistakes. Same mistakes everytime; Ibra playes badly but plays full 90 minutes, Fellaini comes on to protect our lead and fecks up, only Carrick knows how to pass in this team, score is 1-1 Mkhi is taken off for a defensive player.

It's so depressing watching Lingard start regularly for United.

Fellainis headers are cushioned by his hair, Imagine Ronaldo sticking a cushion on his head before every match.
Fellaini is the embodiment of every wrong at United and needs to feck off ASAP.

We still need Rooney, judging by this
We never had any proper change at goal except for the one in the end which our record signing couldn't put in. Rooney wouldn't have been in the position to take a hit given his first touch. Get over him, we will be replacing him soon.

I mean till the end of the season. He still can play better than what martial gave on the wing.

agreed. Players like Darmian, Jesse, Fellaini aren't the types you expect to see in Europes top competition. This team doesn't excite me anymore. We are boring. I yearn for an exciting winger. Someone who makes the oppo crap themselves. Even just someone who is a serious dribbler would suffice. Ours our dodgy

Cut the crap, he put in the effort. Jokes aside, 'Putting effort' is such an overrated aspect of his game on here. People actually forget putting in effort means nothing if it doesn't contributes to a goal or lets say with due respect to lingard, influencing atleast one game.

And he is doing time and time again, so can't the manager give him some notice? Or he doesn't noticing? Depressing.

So far away I get up 4am to just watch Utd on TV
    Well that was f@cking frustrating!
After such a good first 45 minutes we come out and tippy tap the f@cking ball backwards and sideways at the back and in midfield ... it was always looking like we'd give the ball away and lose the 1 nil advantage.

We stopped doing what had worked so well; moving the the ball quickly and forward which we'd done brilliantly for the better part of the first 45 minutes and started to play like sissy's at a tea party! I know that's probably not a politically correct statement but Jeeeezuz man, some might say we lucky not to lose that match FFS! Lord knows how hard we find it score. :houllier:

I want to highlight Rashford who for me, had perhaps the best 45 minutes without scoring in a long long time imho; made a lot of good strong tackles and finding space. He deserved to be ojn a winning team today. Still lacks the necessary creativity when he's running at FB's but that'll come. If he keeps that standard of effort he will be repaid. Martial on the other hand, well the less said the better.

Another decent performance by Lingard too. Also still lacking that composure or finesse but improving every day. Martial on the other hand, well you know.

Pogba & Ibra have to be called out for taking the second half far too casually. With even a modest amount more urgency we could've left Belgium with a two or three goal lead and played all reserves in the second leg. If they'd even tried as hard as Mkhi it would have been no contest but it was like they were saving their energy for Chelsea on Sunday, wtf!

Hey, I've no doubt we'll get by them comfortably at home next week but now we will have to field the best 11 we can muster after what will be a tough battle on Sunday regardless of the outcome.

Grrrrr ... Feck it! I'm off for a scotch or two ... or five ... and it's only half 2 on a Thursday here. :keano:

Again and again, Lingard not our quality his football is so casual he doesn't look serious with the ball he gives the ball away too easy his hunger is a big question, we should have never paid him this money HE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH ffs.

Young guy with the world at his feet who thinks his shit doesn't stink. I will give him grief because I am a fickle fan but feck me it's time for him to grow up and take this team somwhere. He has it for sure but he will never get to the top echelon of the game without some home truths. We know he can get out of a 3 man press on his own but he shouldn't be inviting it constantly.

Nicknamed Robocop in Belgium because of his physicality - I think he has clocked well over 4500 minutes of football this season (something like played every minute of every game he's been involved in, missed one or two through suspension). Tielemans is definitely the more gifted but I really like Dendoncker too and think he'll get a bigger move sometime soon also.
    Goddamn Robocop.

this team isn't ready for Champions League Football.
Should be winning games like this 3 or 4 nil.
If we struggle to break down teams like this it's only going to be more difficult in the group stages of the CL.

    You couldn't be more wrong.
    :D

He is the highest goal scorer in united's and england's history , surely when fit to play he'll do better than what we are seeing in europa league right now from other attacking players , just based on his experience.

    Good grief :houllier:
:DWell agree to disagree, but we are still paying him 300 quid and he's still the capt of the team, he has to go out there and use his exp on the pitch in attack when the younger guys fail to do what is needed.
