I put this on Ralph now, we all know the players are rubbish, why does he keep starting them based on names. Why bother with Rashford off the bench, he's useless and makes no effort, Bruno off form. Total disaster.

Arsenal fans giving it large haha. This is as good as it gets for them. Top 4. We will be back with a real manager that's had a preseason.
Arsenal have always celebrated top 4, like its a trophy, but in fairness, they are back in the CL, which is good for them.
For us, pre-season makes not a bit of difference. You can't turn a team of donkeys into stallions by playing a few friendlies before the season starts.

Rangnick has been extremely poor for us and the worst manager, we have tried after Fergie. It is easy to say now, but I would rather have had Solskjær until the summer than Rangnick.

I’m rooting for Tottenham. Arteta is the epitome of petty and look how it trickles down - look at Ramsdale jumping in front of Bruno after a missed penalty.
I know what I wish upon them but I’m not going to get a warning from the message boards so I shall keep it to myself
This. I fecking hate that club.

It’s not easy to overlook the Bruno botched pk, but in the end this match didn’t matter. We fukked ourselves going into this season.

I'd say we trashed ourselves more than anything. VAR didn't help with the dodgy calls, but they can't be held responsible for shambolic defending, missing a penalty and failing to convert God knows how many chances.

We fecked ourselves today just as we have done all season long.
people can say what they like about cavani but he'd have scored at least one of the chances we created

Did I say he was one of the worst players in the league? I agreed with @kouroux that he's been dreadful this season. The stats are also misleading, if you play those balls constantly for 90 minutes. His decision making leaves a lot to be desired and ten Hag will have to rein in his instinctual play somewhat.
You literally replied to me highlighting that comment and calling it hilarious by saying you think that's a fair assessment.

If creating the fourth highest big chances in the league is so easy, you'd think more of our players would give it a go.

Anyone who feels that was a good attacking display whilst losing 3-1, needs to give their head a big wobble. That was tragic.
It was in the sense of chances made but finishing is the most important part of attacking and that was woeful again.

It’s not on Ralph for fecks sake, who else is there to pick? Whoever he choses it’s wrong.

Can’t put the kids in and then complain we don’t get top 4. They’re not ready

Same, that celebration was so petty in his face, look at how they celebrated at OT when DDG was injured.

Most of us said this was coming and yet fans buried their heads in the sand. It didn't take a rocket scientist to see the inevitable coming (to be fair I never thought it would get this bad).
Most people didn’t say that and there was little evidence to suggest it would end up so bad

What do you want him to do? He's letting them hang themselves. He benched both rashford and maguire today.

We played well today and should have won. We just have an extremely unlikeable bunch playing for us.

Most people thought Ole should get this team pressing high and go to Anfield to dominate the game.

We are not exactly blessed with options. I would be wary putting kids in with this lot. Let them have their chances in pre-season and see if any show they can be useful in the first team. If anything it is proving that extending Bruno was a mistake and to be wary of extending contracts too early. Rashford wants to stay, well if this is the effort he puts in to prove it, he can get lost.

That’s a point but it’s a bit too much of a slog to get there though.
It might be a good thing for ETH to focus on League cup or EL success to get a trophy under his belt early. It might get people off his back if the league takes a tad longer to sort out.

The lack of fight in this team is pathetic. Get rid of most of these players. Need a fresh start to build a brand new team culture.
The amount of money wasted which we the fans subsidise. Pogba's £90m down the drain alone. Leaving for nothing. And add to that the £550m in debt loaded on the club by the Glazers which the club pays for each year in interest payments.

We are a wreck of a club. Christ couldnt save us

Yes there was. Games we were winning were not down to a cohesive football. Teams like Chelsea and Liverpool were always going to catch up due to the context of last year.

Our form at the end of last season was also shocking. It was that bad that Liverpool nearly pipped us to second. The rewriting of last season as a success is still one of the biggest jokes I have ever heard

The players had given up on him. Things wouldn't be any better it would just be more smiley.

Oh god no. It would have been just as bad but we would have had to endure Ole trying to assure us everything was OK. The fanbase would have melted down. It would have been a complete abyss.

No manager could have succeeded given the hand Ralf was dealt. We've needed his brutal truths. He's set ETH up for success next season by exposing all our issues.

bruno is dogshit lately what does he do??
Not just lately. Bruno has been dogshit almost all season. His goals last season has saved him from more criticism.

He has put in a MOTM performance once this season. Against Leeds. Most other games have been average and poor

You might fall differently from the rest of the world in england but i've never seen a "normal person" using his hands to cover his face while falling

Imagining the scene is hillarious though.
You mean people don't protect their face when falling first face? Clearly they're not the normal ones...

Fair enough, didn't read the full quote. I do think he's been dreadful this season though, overall. If this was his first season in English football, he'd be rated about a quarter of what he actually is, is what I think. He's been a shadow of the player he was during Ole's underdog football.

I hope ten Hag can help improve his tactical discipline and decision making, but I think it was crazy to upgrade his deal without any need to do so, before we know if he actually functions well enough to merit superstar wages under a new manager.

I don't think he needs CL as a distraction while building a system and a squad. It is the club who want it for financial reasons. Arsenal are always a hoot in the CL.

i dont; he’s practically got zero to work with. It’ll probably fo them good to drop wages being out of the cl and focus on training the new wsy
