I think most managers would struggle when they're missing

Shaw-Darmian-Smalling-Schneiderlin-Schweinsteiger, Rooney for 6 guaranteed starters today, but it's more the overall style of play and complete lack of entertainment that has been building

Title race is definitely down to just City and Arsenal. There's no way we're gonna win the title after this.

3 wins in 13. Not good enough. We were making progress under van gaal at one point but I haven't seen any in a very long time and now were moving backwards.

How many "small" teams have we been embarrassed by this season?

Thought so, you don't know of any.
No I don't know any, I have not made a record of who they are and do not wish to trawl through a highly active thread to read the comments again. You are more than welcome to do so yourself and come to your own conclusions.

I think we'll lose if in being honest. Bournemouth are a team that covers the most ground and we're having to play most of the same players from midweek. Add to that our inexperienced defence and our lack of goals. Seriously concerned.
Indeed. Didn't take a mastermind to work out we'd struggle today after the lineup was announced. Ran out of juice in the 2nd half.

    Congrats Bournemouth deserved 3 points.

Well this was predictable in the end. Moment I saw the lineup I thought we would struggle to keep a cleansheet, and as usual struggle to score. Yet after a good tempo first half, the second has just been utter rubbish. LVG has really messed up the subs, making us even less likely to score. We have finished the game with basically 4 forwards, and no way to get the ball to them. One of our best players on the park today, and one that could have actually brought the ball down for us up top gets taken off and replaced with a player who I'm not even sure touched the ball, let alone influenced the game. And we have an actual experienced player who could have taken the spot of at fb to help shore things pup and give an attacking threat never steps on the pitch.

Sure arsenal and city slip up but they also dominate the odd game. We either scrape a win, draw or lose. Fed up of this sack of shit.
Fergie's United would've taken advantage over everyone else's slip-ups over the last few weeks, and would probably be 4-6 points clear at the top.

This is all Moyes's fault. The guy is just a bad omen through and through. He has only been back on these shores for less than four weeks and we have gone shit again.

Thing is obviously the injuries played a big part today but once again substitutions was poor. What does Powell offer at the moment? Particularly ahead of fellaini?

It's so baffling that for someone who loves possession so much he just concedes it to stick two players up top and hopes for a long pass.

Not a big fan of young but not sure why he can't get any time at the moment.

Herrera as well, the way Mata is playing he would be a starter.

To be fair, they did beat Chelsea away and come back to get a point against Everton. They aren't a shit team, and with United's injuries it's really not that bad a result. But LVG should still go imo.

What can you expect when you field a back four of Varela (unknown), Mcnair (not a centreback), Blind (not a centreback) and Borthwick-Jackson (teenager).

This is reminiscent of the days when we had to field John O Shea as a midfielder alongside Park Ji Sung. Or when we used Silvestre as a left back and had Gary Neville at Centreback.

I think LVG's time might be up at this club. The dissent is clear. We haven't won a match in 4 (or is it 5?) tries now. Our attack is nonexistent. We didn't even register a proper shot on their goal in the second half?

He took off Fellaini who was hands down our best player. Kept on Mata who has done NOTHING in the last 2 months. Put Memphis upfront and shuttled Martial to the right flank despite him being our best centreforward. Then of course he throws on Powell upfront. Nick Powell who has barely played football and is a midfielder.

Did Ashley Young do something wrong? Im guessing he must have crossed LVG because he is clearly in the doghouse.

Woodward needs to go and get Pep Guardiola. There is no two ways about it. Guardiola is our longterm solution. LVG is short term and he is NOT working out.

Bournemouth are this season's Leicester. Their first goal was a freak. We were poor defensively, but so would any other team with the number of defenders we have injured.

They should've scored more, in fairness - but we should've scored a couple more as well. Martial and Fellaini both guilty.

I don't blame LVG tonight, our U21s put up a good fight. This was always going to come with the tiny squad we have. Ignoring that, what could LVG have done differently?

It's clear we still have a lot of dead weight in this team.

Even with this loss, can we agree, all the changes most fans suggested, which LvG seemed to take on eventually to create a more attacking game, haven't worked have they?

We have been dire, that is no secret, let's forget using hindsight like we shouldn't have sold RVP or Chicharito (which I still say was a huge mistake by Woodward AND Van Gaal).

    - We have been more attacking (v Wolfsburg & Bournemouth)
    - No Rooney
    - Mata in AM
    - Carrick back in CDM (well this game only)
    - A pivot CDM, with the other CM playing much more forward

Lost 2 games in a row. Again without the injury perspective it means nothing.

Why I say, even football couch coaches don't have the answers do they?

Football is far too complicated a sport to say "well he should have done this". He did and we are still dropping points, this time all 3 vs just 2 past few games!

Except the football with these guys was no different. I'm tired of the apologies. Schweinsteiger, Darmian and Smalling were playing against Wolfsburg when we couldn't defend a set piece for shit either. Everybody keeps harping on how shit Rooney has been, so you can not seriously list him as a player we miss so much. That leaves Shaw, who was been out all year and Schneiderlin.

More attacking? In the first half perhaps, in the second half, not so much. Also, more attacking needs to be specified. Our attacking mainly consisted of hoofing the ball to Fellaini. That's mid table football. Of course you can make it easy for yourself and claim we've been more attacking, but it's shit attacking football.

How on earth are these players wearing our kit? How on earth our manager blames the fans for their expectations? Something really wrong.
First step to put things on the right track is sacking that coward manager.

It's the way the Premier league is these days. The top teams aint great at all, and the rest aren't as sh!t as usual.

If we'd have been playing pretty much anyone else in the league I'd have been really worried, rather than just fairly worried with that lineup.
I think it could have beena 4 or 5-0 v a lot of teams today

I can't believe I'm saying this, but we were never this bad under Moyes.
Think I'd probably agree with that!

Can't really be too surprised that we were horrible at the back today given we have like 7 injuries in defense. The toothless attack is unfortunately nothing new.
