If we don’t finish the game like this I’ll be disappointed, just go wild ETH screw tactics and positions and stuff.

But seriously I’ll be surprised if Garnacho plays and Mainoo.

What’s the bets Martinez comes on and goes off injured.

I feel a certain amount of freedom given that 4th/5th is practically gone now with Spurs winning and Villa currently winning. Just go out and play good football.

Practically gone? There’s nine more games and Spurs play Newcastle, City, Arsenal, and Liverpool all back-to-back. It’s far from over.

Flekken - Roerslev, Ajer, Zanka, Collins, Lewis-Potter - Janelt, Yarmoliuk, Jensen - Wissa, Toney.

A lot of players missing for Brentford - Hickey, Henry, Pinnock, Reguilon, Mee, Damsgaard, Norgaard, DaSilva and Mbeumo - maybe a few of them are on the bench

Bench looks so much better now with players returning. Let’s see if we can put out a good performance. They have been rare this season.

Bench looks like it has options. It feels amazing to look there and see Martinez. Will be good for Mount to get some minutes later on.

Ah ok. I didn't see the game as I was travelling

Ah, I see. Yeah, he came on in extra time. Wasn't heavily involved by any stretch of the imagination but his fresh legs and usual dynamism was much needed at that stage of the game.

Be nice to see him get minutes tonight.

Was a deflating day so far with Villa and spurs winning.

I’m just gonna try and enjoy tonight , hopefully with a nearly fit squad we should start to see some seeds of what we might of gotten without the tragic injury issues this season

Finger crossed we come out and look as interested as we did against Liverpool. It’d be nice to enjoy a couple of games on the bounce.

Everyone in the squad bar Shaw and Martial is nice to see.

Can’t really afford to drop points in this with Villa/Spurs winning and Chelsea and Liverpool to come.

If we play with anywhere near the intensity of first 30 minutes versus Liverpool then we would steamroller this lot.

Never know how we are going to play, so I think this game is a 50/50. On paper we look a lot better than they do, but football is played on the pitch and our approach and mentality is so inconsistent and hard to predict. Still, I think we’ve made the best selection with injuries and fitness considered. Would much prefer Casemiro over McTominay, but I assume he isn’t fully fit.

The bench looks really strong, especially in midfield, with Maguire, Martinez, Amrabat, Casemiro, Eriksen, Mount, and Antony. The glaring weakness is a lack of attacking options. With Antony and, at a stretch, Mount, as the only attacking options.
