Surely the entire medical and sports science teams need a thorough review? This is becoming farcical

Hate to say it but Martinez is damaged goods. We will need two CBs in the summer and Martinez will be relegated to a Lindelof role.
1-1 draw for the ages. Shitfest. El Crapico.
Expecting a horrible game of footy.

I'm hoping either Varane or Evans can return (though it would probably be the familiar story of rushing them back and them breaking down). If not, I hope we use Kambwala rather than shove a midfielder in defence.

If he's on the bench as much as he has been, it should be because we have some faith in using him. Bringing on a rushed Martinez instead of him against Brentford wasn't great, but at least made sense in terms of an experienced player at that late stage. But not using him if he's one of only two fit CB's in the squad, and going with an out of position midfielder instead, would suggest very little faith in him.

Assuming Chelsea play Palmer RW, Id be telling AWB just to mark him and leave the football to the players who can actually play.

    Onana
    Dalot - Maguire - Evans - AWB
    Mainoo
    Bruno - Mount
    Amad - Hojlund - Garnacho

Yes, we're shit, but they're shitter. 4-2 United. Garnacho to have recovered from his jet lag and run them ragged.

Gotta be big Willy at CB then hasn’t it. Wouldn’t trust Casemiro there in his current form.

    Dalot Maguire Casemiro AWB
    Mainoo
    Bruno Mount
    Antony Hojlund Garnacho

Bring on Rashford for Garnacho and Amad for Antony after 60 minutes.

Assuming Varane, Lindelof, Martinez, Shaw, Malacia etc are all still out, I don't think he will but I would LOVE to see:

    Onana
AWB Maguire Kambwala Dalot (AWB has to be right back, think he did a job on Salah but Dalot is more adaptable)
    Mainoo Casemiro
    Amad Mount Garnacho
    Hojlund

    That's good news if accurate.

I was hoping at least one of Varane and Evans would be available, otherwise it would have been unusual for the club to confirm we had huge CB issues ahead of the upcoming game. If Evans and Varane are fit (!?) to return, then it makes more sense.

time for changes after the Brentford game, that just wasnt acceptable, AND those who were ambling about should be dropped.

    Onana

    AWB EVANS MAGUIRE DALOT
    MAINOO CASEMIRO
    ERIkSEN
    AMAD MOUNT
    HOJLUND ( who else?)

subs- garnacho, rashford, bruno, kambwala, mctominay, heaton, antony

I still have the Mourinho Stamford Bridge hangover that we're unable to score in this stadium.

What happens when a very stoppable force hits an easily moved object?

    Onana
    Dalot - Kambwala - Maguire - AWB
    Casemiro - Mainoo
    Garnacho - Bruno - Rashford
    Hojlund

Mount, Eriksen, McTominay, Amad and Antony to come on in 2nd half.

Game tomorrow may not be that important (seems unlikely we get the 5th place finish). I'm more gutted about our last visit to Bridge and how we didn't manage to win that game. Since then we've regressed so much.

Not expecting much from this game, but a win could restore the slightest glimmer of hope.

I think we’ll win. Everyone will get excited again about corners turned, then we’ll get thumped by Liverpool.

We're due a game where everytime the opposition shoot they will score. Its the law of averages, its inevitably going to happen sooner or later and good luck will run out. Expecting 3 or 4 goals for Chelsea.

With Spurs having dropped points to West Ham and Villa demolished by City, the door has been left slightly open for us. We must win this.

Can't wait to see the 5-0-5 formation again, tactical genius Erik.
