Left back overlapping created the first goal. Theirs. After that we definitely had to be cautious. Running upfield without thinking of consequences isn't attacking play. It's stupidity.

People going on about city, they are at emptihad, they were expected to get that result. I think Van gaal was okay with the draw and will want to win home against PSV and CSKA and maybe draw against wolfsberg to cross 10 points that should win us the group. Our group is very tight and that defeat against PSV is hurting us bad.

I would suggest that that Brugg team would've probably been beaten by a league 2 side, if they played in England.

you know as well as i do im not asking the left back to be camped in the opposition half permanently. but its kind of obvious that when your left winger is getting double teamed you need to take one man off him by making a run down the channel at least once...once in the bloody game.

In those cases, a CM should either cover the LB or should go to help out. Neither of which happened.

Don't get why Martial is highest rated here. I think Herrera was better, perhaps even Schneiderlin too. He wasn't great and gave away a penalty. Not that you can blame him, he is just 19.

so then it should have happened. why did the CMs not cover rojo so that he can run forward. is it not the reason why we have a DM in schneiderlin playing in our team (so that he can cover the defenders vacant position when required). fellaini was introduced so that he can take the attention off martial along the left hand channel. that tactic clearly did not work. its really nice to see a good possession game but its irritating to watch our team passing the ball around the centre circle when a game is tied. i cant imagine why any united fan would think otherwise. im not annoyed with any other aspect except the fact that we dont GO for it like we used to it at the end of a match.

Yeah he wasn't that good overall. I dunno, maybe people think no one played well so picked Martial MOTM because he scored.

May as well have just left BFS on rather than go with Fellaini, its not like we were pumping balls into the box towards him so I don't get why he came on.
