What I would give to firstly be a fly on that dressing room wall. And secondly to be there in person and educate these fecking pathetic people on what it means to play for this club. Swiftly followed by a trip up to Woodward's golden lounge to tell him about himself.

I hate our players! Not just a bad day at the office. We are disgraceful. Pogba wants 500k a week to stay. DDG wants a huge deal. Let them off and start again with a different approach over a few years because these players are winning us nothing full stop. I’d rather we played a really young and talented team and develop players that really love it at United and have pride in the shirt. I have to say this though. Would you have pride in playing for united anymore looking at Woodward and co? Most likely not. It goes to the very top. We are embarrassing and it’s going to take a managerial masterstroke to get us back challenging with any more than a few of these players still here. Is ole that man? I fear not. He’s going to have to be brutal!

It hasn't happened because obviously there is a feeling it's not a priority when in fact it should have been the first thing to take care of before signing Ole and before extending the contracts of the players we have so far.
Yeah I agree, after Mourinho left it sounded like it was a priority. we where rumoured to be getting a director football do would do the manager search. Realistically that run Ole went on is probably the worse thing that could of happened to the club.

Do you think Ole even believes in these players anymore?

    No.

So what a job he is going to have on to convince whichever shitfest he slaps together for the next game to actually go out there and perform because he 'trusts them'.

90% of this squad should feck off.

The moment we extended the first one (Young or Jones, I don't remember), I knew it was Ole who would be made permanent because it never made any sense to extend a player without his ok and his ok wouldn't matter if he wasn't lined up as a permanent manager.

    Neville: "The parfo

My eyes are open... the requirement is to take head out the sand. Listen to Neville, he knows!
Look i'm under no illusions we need to ship off half this bunch, but starting with one of the few players that has the ability to play for this club is madness.

The usual morons who open their eyes and take their heads out the sand and can remember that he is publicly courting Real Madrid and is happy to high five old team mates when we are losing to Juventus, and that he can go through the motions with running against Barcelona. Gary Neville all but called him out before this game. Open your eyes!
He’s not the problem. he’s never mentioned Madrid by name has he. It’s them talking about him. Funny how they’re desperate to sign him, can’t see them wanting any of our other players

Thats the problem isn't it we where already trying to dodge what needs to happen, and thats someone needs to come in and take a long term view over the squad.

Untill that happens, untill woodward lets go of that side of things, then things will only get worse.

Has to be a watershed moment. We have to use this as the catalyst to get rid of deadwood and go again. Even if it takes a few years I just want to see some progress being made and us start to get a identity.

United should employ some defensive specialist to teach them how to defend corners, throw ins and free kicks into the penalty area.
Everyone is crowding in the center and none picking up the opponents standing outside the penalty areas. When they run out they are are running towards the ball but just going back to their position. This has caused them the 3rd goal.
United should get someone to teach them to play their way out of pressure so that they don't have to concede free kicks, corners and throw-ins every time the opponents attack.

    but we created nothing
Due to the players on the end of the passes doing nothing.

Martial chance which he should score- Pogba pass,
Martial shot from edge- Pogba flicked pass,
    Matic shot near end-Pogba pass
Dangerous free kick first half-Pogba earned
Rashford chance first half-Pogba with a wonderful pass over the top

We were terrible, we did basically nothing and yet the only ‘moments’ of quality were produced by Paul Pogba. It’s a witch-hunt plain and simple, no idea if it’s down to race, personality or persona, but it’s clear as day that Pogba is put under a microscope that no other player in world football faces. Is he perfect far from it, but Christ he is the last player to call out in this mess.

You just know this is happening. Could not script it any better
The dichotomy between what will be Ole's team talk and that which we actually want....

I'm basically sending youth players out into that game and then I can from my heart motivate them and tell them to give their all. Because if they win, they deserve it and it is a achievement to celebrate. We'd be looking to the future and to be honest it's about focusing on us and not Liverpool.

If we lose, good! If we win, well done, be proud, stake claimed for involvement in squad next year.

Can't hate these players enough. No self respect, no desire, no respect for the club.

Slag me as much as you can but Woodward has rewarded mediocrity to a such high level, it's beyond ridiculous.

These players aren't fit to play in the league let alone Manchester United.
did you see the passion in the women's team yesterday? we should ship some of them in!

Spot on. How's he supposed to create when the ones he creates for keep fecking it up?

Although I bet someone will go "hurr durr look at your username how can you properly judge a player with a username like that" instead of actually arguing the point.

    Frankly, who should go?
De Gea - to fetch extra money for new signings.
Pogba - bad influence outside club.
    Herera - Mind already somewhere.
Mata - too soft and also old.
    Young - too old.
    Smalling - poor defender.
    Valencia - too old.
Rashford - if he demands exhorbitant increment.
Sanchez - if anyone can affod his pay. But with 25% paycut, there should be some savings.
Grant - not required as Henderson and Pereira should be back.
Fred - not strong enough for EPL.

Promote more youth to first team. Players with more energy and play for the team.
Buy some good inexpensive players (average salary in line with the rest of the team)

Nice to see you didnt watch the game. Pogba has created EVERYTHING good we did today, open your eyes.
he created nothing of note. I don't mean one or two good passes, I'm talking bout dominating the midfield like Keane used to. One or two passes doesn't earn a salary in my book. even if he was less shite than everyone else

this plus his PR team telling us he's world class because he was in the world-cup-winning team

For those truly backing Pogba - and going on about witch-hunts - do you honestly think SAF would praise him after today's showing? Don't go on about everyone else being awful. Just would Fergie have thought he played well...

There’s not a player in world football bar perhaps messi and Ronaldo who could single handily pull us out of this mire. Look I get it, I really do I’d love us to have players like Keane pulling us through, but it’s a bygone era and that’s not what’s holding us back now. We are being help back by too many inadequate players that don’t have the technical ability to play for this club, with Lukaku being a prime example. I guarantee you if everyone in the team had pogbas ability we would be better placed

I'd have doubled Ronaldo's fee to get him last summer, if that would have done the trick (of course he will never return but you get my point). I know what you are saying but I keep seeing Pogba walk the walk, but I don't think he'a as influential as you do. I do agree that he'd be better with better players around him. France and Juve prove that but I also think that truly great players make others raise their game - Rio made CBs who played next to him look better than they were and often play beyond themselves. Pogba may have the ability I just don't think we see enough of it often enough

Yeh tbh as much as I’ve defended him in this thread, I don’t disagree with you. I don’t see pogba in the same class as some of the names you mention but then I hold some of his teammates in even lower regard. I do agree I wish he would do more at times, but I have equal parts sympathy because at the end of the day he did create some chances today and with better supporting cast it might look different.
