Erm who cares? We’ll beat Everton then lose at home to West Brom. Our unforgivable inconsistency makes it all the worse.

Will James be back for them? Everton aren't in the best of form themselves but I think how they approach the game will be key. If they don't leave space for the counter and are clinical with one or two chances then they'll probably win.

Calvert-Lewin against our centre backs is a worry :nervous: We have Martial back at least.

One thing's for sure. I'm going to be so bored that I'm going to place my TV outside so I can marvel at the grass growing and pop up when something interesting happens.

The only hope we have is if Ancelotti decides he's got too much swagger to park to the bus.

If he is wise he would park the bus, his coach and his car too. Then we will flounder but Pickford is an irrational player and could do many mistakes. Do they have any players missing?

At this stage I don’t care who starts or what system we adopt. We just need to win, and win quick!

I can see us losing this one. Not confident at all. At times like these it’s the manager who gives em a kick up the arse n motivates them.

I think it was a strategy to create a feeling that we will lose this one. We go on to beat them, we will get that "we have turned a corner", new ultra positive threads on caf like "we are going to win the treble" and then get back to being shit when we are expected to win.

    Rinse, repeat.

Ole always manage to get results when he needs it. With the international break coming, i expect a win and ole job will be secure until a few more games.

Theoretical aside, Everton is in poor form. They are also without Richichalson and Rodriguez. The game won't be as competitive and i expect a good win.

Do we think this will go like the Moyes game in 2014 and be the final nail in the coffin.

Definitely starting to have the same feel as City away last season but can Ole find that same spirit in just three days.

I hope that if we play well, we win. I hope that if we play badly again, we lose (with Ole being sacked), so that Ole and the rest of us can finally be put out of our collective misery.

We will win this, we will win two games in a row and then draw and then lose twice and win twice again and then draw and lose twice again.

After the last shit show, we’ll probably win this, then back to rinse repeat.

Beating Everton will mean nothing other than delaying the inevitable.

Calvert Lewin Hattrick. He's going to destroy us on crosses.

I'll be having to rush home from work early to watch this, and no doubt it won't be worth it and ill end up feeling pissed off all day :D

Imagine the scene if we somehow snatched a draw against Everton? And West Brom? :nervous:

I'm not that bothered now. More important things in life than watching United continually trip over themselves.

We'll win this one. Everton have 3/4 key players missing. Coleman, Digne, Richarlison and James.

Digne’s three match ban was downgraded to one game, so he’ll be available. I read that Coleman and James have a chance of making this one as well.

So, what do we want from this?

We all want United to win, no questions asked.
We also want whats best for us. I would think by now, there is a majority of people who see that Ole is not going to take us back to where we want to be.

So, would a draw be enough for a sacking? Don't think so.
A narrow defeat? Meh....there is always give him some more time....

An uninspiring, lifeless, insipid performance with a 2 goal margin defeat?
    It might do the trick.

It's not like we aren't used to them by now....

I just read that on flashscore, so I'm not sure how reliable they are. They're right regarding United though.

Will not watch this horror. I am fed up with them and yesterday was (another) hit to my belief in them.

Sincerely hope we'll win, but we all know that their form is better than ours and everything is telling us that they will smash us.

I'd have preferred to face them after their draw with Liverpool because they'd have been at their cockiest then. better chance to catch them on the hop. The two recent losses though will have Ancelotti on damage control and I think they'll be well aware that we don't like playing against a tight defence and are prone to defensive lapses ourselves. Like Arsenal's win last week, its about taking that chance when it comes and Calvert Lewin is on that kind of form this season where he might well punish us if given a chance or two.

I'm hoping for a win, we need to kick start this season again and I really doubt that ole is as close to the exit door as we all seem to hope (though a heavy defeat against Everton would surely cause a reaction from the Board).

I have a good feeling about this. We narrowly lost to Istanbul (one goal) and could well beat Everton if we score more than they do.
I agree about the good feeling but please do not say we lost to Istanbul by a narrow margin. Although the score-line shows 2-1, we were never in the game. 2 shots on target all game is an abysmal display.

We will have an open game for sure because Everton play well and are not going to sit back and defend at home. We will have opportunities to attack but if Ole introduces the diamond midfield again, we will never make anything of that game and Ole will lose his job. I hope he reverts back to what actually works for us.

Anything else will not work and we will succumb to the pressure from Everton. The last 2 games against them (last season) were 1-1 draws and I hope this time we go out and actually play. I'm still not happy about the way we play but if we come away with a result, Ole will be given time to make things right. We did not start well last season either but the lockdown gave us ample time to get our injured players back. It will be hard to do the same again this time around. I hope Ole doesn't get the sack but I also cannot wait for Poch to do something valuable with this team. 2 minds. As a Man United fan through and through, regardless of the situation I want us to win.

Probably another match like every from 2014 to present... if De Gea won't save the team by some supernatural saves then we're in usual trouble.

Good to know you are friends with our starting XI. Please tell them that when they are not winning - or worse losing - the score won’t change automatically unless they display some urgency.

The one thing you can guarantee about Ole's team is them performing when the shit hits the fan.

We'll win this one with relative ease, looking like world-beaters in the process.
