1-1. Pogba to hit the bar, Mata to smash the ball into the keeper's hands form 1 yard out and 30 sec left to play. 2 clear pens not given.

    Vardy 30' (pen)
    Zlatan 75'
Exactly what's going to happen. These things will also happen:

Herrera will try 4 long-range shots and all will end up in row Z. Zlatan will kick both Morgan and Huth in the face at the same time while attempting his 37th overhead kick of the game. Pogba will put an arm out thinking it will create a magic, impermeable barrier while Vardy and Musa press him on the half-way line with 8 of our players in Leicester's box waiting for the long ball. De Gea will save the resulting two-on-one. Rojo will get sent off, and Rooney will come on for Mkhitaryan, who will not be injured, in the 47th minute in a purely tactical substitution.

Then we'll all come on the Caf only to be told that only Spanish teams win the Europa League so forget that, and that the Premier League is our "bread and butter". We'll also be informed that we'll have a massive 14 games to go, that we're only 7 points behind second place, that a win counts for 3 points and that we have easy fixtures coming up while our rivals play each other.

I think if LCFC attempt to win or play football, then we could beat them quite easily.
However, like Hull, if they decide to play for a 0-0 draw, then we could see a repeat of our last Hull game.
Do LCFC actually play or are they a 'park the bus team', now?

Not expecting much from this game, entertainment-wise or result-wise. The Hull match really deflated me.

Teams are probably starting to realise by now that if they sit back and defend then we are pretty much hopeless at breaking them down and scoring so it could become a common theme.

Don’t think many of those teams that have gotten a draw against us think that. They all conceded a lot of good chances, we just didn’t finish.

That's the point, we don't take our chances. Also to be fair everyone talks as if we make 10 clear cut chances a game that should be certain goals when in fact we only usually creat one or two real clear chances, the rest are all half chances.

Well, I don’t think teams feel that parking the bus and trusting we won’t finish our chances is a good tactic. In some of those we’ve had well over 5 clear cut chances, in some less.

Same as under Van Gaal that is.

To be honest, I'd still expect us to beat Hull 9 times out of 10 if we played tomorrow.
We've played them 4 times now and only won twice, it's not looking good on that equation.

Can we just have a nice easy 0-4 win where everyone plays really well?

Not much hope for this game. LC are due a good game and they will surely raise their game against United like every other team in the world does while we keep missing chances and then blame the referee for not being able to score.

Leicester to win odds are 19/4 at b365 . 10 in 57 out. Win-win situation unless we draw again

I think we create about 4 or 5 clear-cut chances in most games. Against Hull for example there were the Pogba and Mata chances as well as easy balls over the top for Zlatan and Rashford to control and face a one-on-one with the 'keeper. Out of the games we didn't win, I would say the Hull, West Ham, Burnley and Stoke draws at home, as well as the Stoke away draw were games we should have easily won given how much we dominated for large periods and the quality of chances we created in those games. Arsenal home and Everton away should have been seen out as well, although we didn't create as much in those games we were let down by two late equalisers..but alas.

Under Van Gaal we would have finished that match with 6 shots and lost 1-0. Team was completely clueless when teams put 9 and 10 behind the ball. It's a bit different this season we actually have a clue but just can't put the ball in. Just look at Mata and Pogba the last 2 leagues games. Mata misses a sitter not even a yard out from the goal in both games and Pogba has 2 shots on goal that most of the time are goals but the opposing keeper became Buffon in those moments.

Leicester have been absolute garbage this season but we're away, and as we can't beat anyone at home in the league, we can't be confident away surely.

Leicester also welcome back their African nations players.

We really need a win, as we're so close to bashing into the top 4, and we can't slip again now

You can tell confidence on the Caf is waning - the green slice of the score prediction pie chart is getting smaller and smaller each week.

We are going to absolutely bum them….0-1.

The amount it changes after one performance is pretty funny. I always enjoy viewing it ahead of a game.

1-1 or 1-0 to Leicester. Dont have any confidence in the lads. Couldnt score in a brothel at the moment. Would like to see Pogba dropped and given a much needed kick up the ass

The Altrincham supporting Anthony Taylor is the referee - the only referee to award us a penalty in the Premier League this season :D

Think we will beat them comfortably like we did in September

Hull were a bit of a bogey team this season

    @ Hull 0-1 (Rashford 92nd minute winner)
Hull (League Cup Semi 1st leg) 2-0 (2nd goal came in the 87th minute in the unlikeliest way- Darmian cross to Fellaini)
@ Hull (League Cup Semi 2nd leg) 2-1 (really should have been 1-1 but Moss is a bellend)
    and then the 0-0 draw.
So, across 360 minutes, the aggregate score line was
    MUFC 4 - 2 HULL

And averaged over 90 minutes: 1 goal per game....against a team which may finish bottom of the league. :annoyed:

I think we should start off like this which also should be set in stone as our best starting XI in league games and shouldn't be fecked around with unless there are injuries:

    De Gea
    Valencia - Bailly - Rojo - Shaw
    Carrick
    Herrera - Pogba
    Mkhitaryan - Ibrahimovic- Martial

Jose has to realise that we have come to a point where its fecking unacceptable to bring in Rooney at all. Since Pogba hasn't performed as expected lately and is in a huge need of a rest he should be our first substitution after 60ish minutes for Mata

The wily Foxes will NOT try to win this game by any other means than counter attacks so beating them "quite easily" won't happen unless we get an early goal. It may actually take two early goals before they open up a bit & risk a hammering.

If we don't get the early goal, we will need speed at the back because Vardy & co are stick very quick.

Important to establish our first team & I think Jose knows that. He might give Martial another go unless there are serious shenanigans going on and the Frenchman has really pissed him off. If that's happened, it could be Lingard getting another chance? (Hope not)
The team below will win comfortably by three goals to nil if picked.

    -------------Rojo-------------Bailly------------
    Valencia-----------Carrick*------------Shaw**
    ---------Pogs***-------------Herrera*****---
    -----Mkhi---------------------------Martial-----
    ---------------------Ibra------------------------

*I have a hunch Schweiny might get the nod over Carrick for this game but I personally think that would be a mistake. Perhaps sub him on late in the game so he's a natural option?
**Blind does not have the pace, so it might be Darmian (as he has missed two games now) but my money is on Shaw again.
***I have a sense Martial is problematic for Jose at the moment but not for football reasons. I think he'll still get a shot just because Mata missed that "sitter" and while he (Martial) might not have been "Magnificent" as requested against Wigan, he was better than Rashford was against Hull.
****If Fellaini is fit I am very afraid he will be chosen before Hererrra for this match ... again I hope not, but would not be against the big man coming on later on!

I wouldn't mind Schweinsteiger to start. He's done well each time he's been given minutes.
