Lace everything the lads touch between now and Sunday with Nandrolone. Their food, their Lucozade Sport, the 26 ply toilet paper they wipe their holes with. The whole lot. If they don't agree then waterboard the cnuts with it.

We need Shaw fit for this.

Greenwood and Martial either side of Ighalo.

Fred or McTominay in for Bruno, who can come on for the last 30 mins.

Ole needs to be brave here. He's reminding me of my 12 year old self playing football manager and not understanding why my best XI can't play all the games at the end of a season.

Our selected outfield 10 are dead on their feet, we will run (ever so slowly) for 50 min then crash. Unless we are 3 up, I can see Leic running in at least 3 goals in the final 30 min. Chavs will get their point, and we'll be left wondering what might have been.

Bruno should not start this one. He has been pulling awful performances for 3 straight games. He has to be dropped for this one
Think if we were applying this logic we'd be dropping Pogba, Wan Bissaka among others too.

Surely it’s 3 days rest with some light training on Friday at most. You’ve got to think that would be enough to get the energy levels ready for a 90 min make or break game.

Adrenaline alone should be enough to get them through this game. It's what our whole season was built on.

Would be tempted to put Fred in for Pogba to be honest. Hopefully have Shaw back and AWB to come back in at RB.

We need plenty of running play one of McT or Fred or maybe even both high energy ,and bench one of Pogba or Bruno making the change at 50 surely they both have 50 minutes left in their legs.

Part of me wishes we were in 5th right now and needed to win to get top 4. Now that we are in 3rd and a draw will do, it makes me worry. My biggest worry is that Ole over thinks it and starts us with some sort of back 5. I want to win this game and finish 3rd, but I would rather go out firing on all cylinders and fail then to sit back and win. Ole talks about "the United way" but often puts us in a Mourinho defensive plan like we did last week vs Cheslea. Play a 4-3-3 with our foot on the gas. Just be weary of Vardy on the counter attack as Leicester will be looking to get him 1 v 1 with our centre halves...

We are not talking about man utd in isolation. We are talking about tjem in comparison with Leics.

Even a top class athlete would prefer seven days recovery and preparation compared to three. Too many games - too shallow a squad.

I do think the suggestion of starting Ighalo and having Rashford come on for Ighalo/Martial has real merit.

We need to start with a midfield of Fred and Mctominay for this game. They will bring much needed energy into this match and we can always bring on matic later to calm things down later if need be.

Only one of pogba or Bruno should start but I'd be more inclined to go with bruno, given that he almost always creates opportunities and has a better work rate.

Also, praying that AWB and shaw are fit for this one.

United all season have a bad habit of drawing games. 12 compared Chelsea 6 and Leicester 8. TBH I can't see United winning the energy isn't there to beat Leicester away who had the week off but this would be one match where I'll be delighted with a draw. A 13th draw lucky for some?

    We must avoid defeat.
I so hope we end the season with a win and 3rd place, but if we get CL through a draw then I'll still be happy.

I just hope our players are up for running up until they have nothing more to give and that Ole actually subs off the ones out of breath this time.

Interesting matchup. Who is going to fall apart first, them or us?

We've been in much better form, but with some problems starting to show up. And it'll all be decided in this one match

Last day nerves over getting third or fourth.

    Sad times.
    Its quite funny,tbh.
The money Ole spent in the summer and we're clinging on.
Still, would've been worse had we not signed Bruno. Ole would've likely been collecting his p45.

I really hope Shaw is back for this one. We look pretty toothless without proper wingbacks.

    1-3 United.

    Bring em’ on!

Our spirit is understandably diminished after a series of poor performances. Our (the fans) confidence (or lack thereof), is irrelevant, though.
Our opponents on Sunday have suffered worst performances and results...

Fred and Mct must play. If we arn't going to create anything, then we might as well have as much energy in midfield to win and keep the ball. Pogba or Bruno can come on in the second half. Also we need James to feature as well.

Ole is not a good enough Manager to win that, Wolves are serious dark horses in that competition !!

feck all this negativity. We're Manchester United and we're a whisker away from CL qualification. If anyone shows up on that pitch not determined to die for the victory - they can find another club in the summer.

We need to win this, so we will win this. This has to be the message to the players, one of expectation, support and encouragement.

Besides, once we've finished with this, we have a European trophy to win. Practise for the proper one.

Agreed. Would also be tempted to start Ighalo for Greenwood.

    Losing to Comeback Winning!
    McT must play!

Statistically, we never lost this season when he play against the "top" teams (Chelsea, City, Pool, Spurs, Arsenal), Leicester and Wolves.

Higher chances of winning and drawing the game with McT than without. Also with Bruno, but we lost once with just Bruno but no McT.

Our record with McT in big games are also that good in past seasons. Coincidence?

    De Gea
    Wan-Bissaka Lindelof Maguire Shaw*
    McT Pogba
    Greenwood Bruno Rashford
