For me this has 0-0 written all over it, I can definitely see ole setting up in a very Mourinho type of way of camping in our own half and lumping it up the field in hope of something breaking for us

Ole has a bit of a knack for getting a win when it's all doom and gloom, so maybe we can snatch a draw.

    There's only one United!
i couldn’t see the white text ? They’ve got the best defence in the league this season and there CB’s have scored more than they have conceded,

if they don’t have such a great defence then god help the rest of us
on the counter attack we can score

It’s weird but I just can’t be arsed. Feel very deflated with Utd currently again.

Where are people hearing Cavani isn't in the squad? The same was said the other week that Greenwood wasn't in the squad that went to the Lowry and he started.

Finding it hard to really care about this. Last 2 months have proven to be yet another false dawn. I’m so over this cycle of mediocrity when we have all the resources to be an actual force. It’s just so fecking annoying.

Don't see us having much of a hope with City's current for and Pogba being out.

We will have little to no out ball from deep.

In more depressing news apparently if we draw or lose this Ole will have the worst win rate of any manager post Fergie for us.

Where is the Clear undeniable progress our board and so many fans talk about?

It doesn’t exist. Ole is benefiting massively from our rivals being worse than they used to be. We are not getting better, the top 4 are just getting worse.

I bet you we set up with Ole's classic “Big Game Try to Avoid Defeat” game plan - the busy but non-creative McTom pivot, Dan James as defensive winger up top, etc.

We can be the team stop City record winning run.

Let's do it, park the bus, and go for 0-0..

Thats not true in the slightest.
Explain. If we don’t win today Ole has the lowest win % of all our managers post Ferguson. That’s literal evidence that we are not making progress. It makes a mockery of the narrative on here that Moyes, van Gaal & Mourinho were disasters & Ole is a success. Ole has a near identical record to Moyes & van Gaal & a worse record than Jose. Explain the progress because the numbers disagree?

I watched them against Wolves, credit where it’s due they were ok
Us against palace is what’s scares me.
This is a very top side we are playing and to get a result we’ll need to be amazing.
if Rashford, Bruno and our defence show up we’ve half a chance.

All this Bruno doesn’t score against the top 6 is beginning to grind on me, De Bryune has 3 goals in 21 games and two of those are pens.

Let’s pray we show up and id love to see Bailly today.

So if we were 3rd last year, and assuming you didn't think we were very good then, and this years contenders for 3rd outside us are Leicester, Chelsea, Everton, are those 3 teams this season all worse teams than us last season?

Would take another 0-0 now. Expecting a comfortable City win though.

I’ll take a draw. We’re so overmatched against City it’s depressing. And we’ve run our top players into the ground against weak opponents, which we dropped points against anyway. Given the circumstances, a clean sheet draw would be a triumph, to be honest.

Because every league campaign is different. If you're pretending we arent getting better then our goal return wouldn't have improved and youre saying we are as good now as we were pre Bruno.
    Thats simply not true.

We look exhausted, they look fresh and are far better. I think they'll coast it, 3 nil

This is gonna be hard to watch again.

We will not be able to string 3 passes together and will sit deep defending waves after waves of attack from City.

Hope we can fluke a 0-0 draw or nick a 1-0 win.

Yeah know exactly what you mean and would feel very different if we were within 7-9 points of them rather than bloody 14

Because they’re already a bajillion points ahead of us and have bigger fish to fry. United are small time to this current City side.
They are but if I was their manager I'd tell them to put a foot on our neck. If we lose badly top 4 is in real peril.

I'm expecting nothing today its the run in that worries me. Our form is very very alarming

    4-0 city.
2 from shitty clearances by Maguire, straight to an attacker 10 yards from goal. A lindelof brainfart og, and sterling to finally score against us.

Quite sad how flat I feel for this. Even going into games against Liverpool when they've been better than us I've felt more fire in my belly. Just feels a bit empty. Maybe I just didn't have enough for lunch.

I know we usually do well in these types of games but I just can't see us getting out of this slump we're in.

Think we're going to get a slapping.

Is anyone here really arsed about today?

Can't wait to watch another completely blunt and uninspiring performance.

Got a feeling, it's a win today maybe a scrappy lucky win, but a win. I can see us creating not many chances but taking them. Or I'm just hoping or joking.

I called it - McFred starting apparently - still waiting on the rest.
it was hardly a bold prediction, most people would have bet money on that being the midfield through lack of other options if nothing else
