I don't wanna be negative, but even though they've been shite lately they're a lot better than us.

This one is definitely our season. If we can win, we're right back in it for top 4. If we lose, season officially over, give LVG his marching orders and then just go all-out attack in the final 8 matches.

If we get housed by our city rivals this weekend, thus eliminating us from any real chance of CL next year, I see no possible way in which LVG isn't fired on Monday.

City have been dreadful against the top 8 this season. We will win this game sparking hope for the fans yet again...

I keep seeing comments stating city are going to smash us but last time I checked they are without Kompany and debruyne while we have most of our important players back. I can either see a 1 - 0 win for us or 0-0 draw.

City haven't been that impressive for christ sake. Get it together guys.

Think this will be the line-up, given the timber Schweini is carrying I reckon it will be a bit longer before he starts, and I think CBJ will get the nod at LB.

I'm surprised to see how negative you're all being considering City's form is worse than yours since November. I wouldn't be surprised to see you win this one.

Looking at that, it is quite impossible to comprehend how a guy can spend so much money and that's the best we can put out.

If Mourinho does arrive, I can just about see 3/4 of them starting next year.
De Gea, Smalling, Schneiderlin, Martial and possibly Varela would be starters next year. CBJ, Schweinsteiger and Memphis will be given important roles. Januzaj, Herrera and Blind will have to prove themselves.

Our first team players are specialists at getting losses and draws.
And our away form is pretty bad.
Based on this, a loss is the most likely result.

really? our only away win in the league last 3 months came against your team which was pretty much a fluke.

    DDG
    Darmian Smalling Blind CBJ
    Carrick
    Valencia Schweinsteiger Herrera Memphis
    Martial

Bench: Romero Rojo Schneiderlin Lingard Fellaini Mata Rashford

Fresh legs Darmian, Valencia, Memphis, Schweinsteiger and CBJ should start IMO. I heard Kompany and Otamendi are injured, so we need to take this chance.

Why anyone would throw Memphis in a big match, away from home?I'm one of those who think we should be more patient with him but he should only start against small teams for this season unless we have no other option.

Yes, City have been poor this season which means we'll get hammered 3 - 0 at least. Aguero against this shite....he'll be rubbing his hands!

I'll be putting a few quid on City -2.

What I would like to see:

    De Gea
    Valencia Smalling TFM BJ
    Carrick
    Schneiderlin Herrera
    Januzaj Martial Lingard

Think we have a chance here with City's depleted defense and with them obliged to attack being at home.

    vibrant attacking football
City have been quite unimpressive in many games against top half of the table teams. I expect a draw thanks to some brilliant de Gea saves.

Loved to see Herrera behind the striker with Morgan and Basti behind him. Martial and Lingard/Young flanking Rashford. We played something similar against Everton this season and had a good result.

    Still laughing at Scousers.
I reckon another draw. So looking forward to this game!! The Bitters can be as temperamental as us - we only have to hypnotise them with our stunning sideways possession and our allergic reaction to shooting.

Have a futsal event with work so I cant watch, just no Mata please.
Lol,is not just him, have been dissapointed with alot of this so called senior players, Herrera and schneiderlin have been dissapointing, they should be in their prime those 3 and be the cornerstone of this team but they have failed miserably.Morgan especially, shits himself under pressure and range of passing very limited, he is in no way suited to possession football or midfield designed to take the initiative.

Lose this and Southampton and Liverpool could go ahead of us. Win it and we are back in the race for top 4.

    Crazy season.

Then LVG will set up for the draw :D #Philosophy :houllier::houllier:

I can see it happening you know. Fellaini/Carrick as two CDM's, sideways passing for 70 mins, aguero scores a screamer, players forget about the philosophy and they equalise. LVG realises they are being too attacking, makes defensive subs, probably sub herrera for Schweinsteiger and then play 3 CDM's . Schneiderlin and depay will probably play a game of chess on the bench.

We need to win this but based on the few latest results - I just can't see it. At best, I can see a draw and that's me being positive.

Do we have one? Lingard is as average as they come. Rashford is still raw as feck.... It doesn't really matter tbh.

Lingard scored against Chelsea. No need to say about what Rashford did vs. Arsenal then and he played well vs. Liverpool.I wouldn't trust Memphis yet to make any impact in these sort of matches yet.If he starts and constantly give the ball away it could be very dangerous for us especially considering he seems quite ineffective in tracking back/pressuring the opponents after losing the ball. The way I see the current Memphis is more of a small team bullier and that's how we should use him until he up his game.

The problem with only playing Memphis against small teams is under LvG there are no small teams.

We are so bad away from home that we could be playing a non league team away and I still wouldn't bet on us winning

It's amazing after how shite we've been that we're 4 points off the top 4, about to play a qualification 6 pointer.

I've had a brain fart and gone for 2-2, we'll concede but without Kompany and Ottamendi there's hope...no?...ok I'll get me coat.

I like you. Like our very own JohnnoWhite.
I just call it as I see it. I really don't think much of City at the minute and a few teams have gone there and won this year.
