Christ. Finishing lessons all day tomorrow for everyone, including Rashford as it fecking took him a while. Nice turn and goal though. I can now exhale for the first time in 2 hours.

One last thing, you'd be pissed to see 2seconds of injury time in that second period of extra time!

What a match though, thoroughly enjoyable. Pleasantly surprised at how Europa League is actually quite good value for entertainment.

If we could just finish with the same accuracy we pass we would be a very dangerous team. Injuries are horrible and I hate to be like that, but maybe Zlatan's injury is a blessing in disguise?

Jose applauding the away fans there.

Well done to Rashford but him and Pogba need a lot more finishing practice.

Truth like rain don't give a feck who it falls on.
We put the ball in the net 4 times, created a feck tonne of extra chances and just had poor finishing tonight and the swarms of pussies in here are making out like we played like Rochdale crying about quitting, saying we're going to penalties with 20 minutes to go and calling us losing, idiots.

Liverpool was named the European capital of culture in 08, Manchester was the capital of trophies.
    By who ?
If someone from UK then its kinda embarrassing to proclaim that. Although I would dearly like United to become that in actual terms, seems unlikely because of consistant spanish love-affair of UEFA.

Thank feck for that. Fully deserved the win. Some good performances there, afroman played well when he came on.
The Big Switch to Fellaini worked wonders when he wasn't climbing on the defender.

Pogba needs even more effort off the ball and off the ball positioning to win the first and second balls and mind presence to play one touch quickly and not take too much time on the ball.

Why are you counting us putting the ball in the net after the whistle has gone? Pointless exercise

United supporters did as a play on Liverpool being the named the capital of culture, United won the PL, CL, CS and CWC in 2008 so they had more silverware than anyone in Europe that year.

Yeah, that is driving me nuts. A pointless size he's got, he doesnt know how to win headers
    Yep

He got outjumped by a shorter player for what should've been an easy 2nd goal, and he had to climb all over an even shorter player to win the header for the disallowed Pogba goal. No, he didn't do anything of note

As pointless as some of the pathetic attempts at psychic statements and pointless crying with half a game still to go acting like you can see the future in a game that we're in charge of and creating chance after chance after chance with a disallowed goal from Pogba that should have stood, and not really any reason to be nervous during the game. People need to stop acting like babies because we missed a chance. 'This is going to penalties' with 20 minutes to go. It's going to penaties at 114 minutes if it's still level. Not with 20 minutes to go, feck it may as well take everyone off the field for coffee. It's going to penalties after all.

People act like babies in here week after week. Don't count anything out when there's loads of time left ffs. Missing 10 shots in a row doesn't mean you're going to miss the next one, and in a game where we're creating so much and we're at their throats it's really absurd to see people acting in such a babyish manner overreacting to every thing that happens.

Capital of Burglary would have been more appropriate for Liverpool.

Made hard work of this in both legs. Thank God for Rashers... Zlatan injured... Rojo too players dropping like flies at the business end, though zlatan has been absolutely terrible the past month. Anyway semifinals here we come - prefer to get Lyon. WE need to get some CBs fit though or we're in trouble.

Some of us did see it. I posted at 90 mins we'll get a goal and go through. I could see Anderlecht gave everything and about 80mins in they were really struggling. Just a matter of time before we got a goal no ref can rule out.
