We're going into this game clearly out of form. We have been since the season started. However, people wrote us off against an in form Chelsea, where, had it not been a last second goal by Ross Barkley we'd have taken three points at Stamford Bridge, and fullly deserved it, in my opinion.

Arsenal seemed to have upped it this season, but they've been quite lucky this season. If we can play like we did at Chelsea, then I see no reason why we shouldn't be beating Arsenal.

    I would like to see a 4222

    De Gea
    Young Smalling Jones Shaw
    Herrera Fred
    Lingard Pogba
    Rashford Martial
Young suspended. Shaw and Smalling are doubts.

It says 9am JST start for me. A midnight kick-off? It doesn't need to be that late to be a fecking nightmare.

part of me is now wondering if there is any scoreline that arsenal could win by that would snap woodward into action. If Arsenal steamroll us 3/4-0 can we please be put out of our misery now instead of "waiting for top 4 to be mathematically impossible". Does paying Jose a huge amount of money now really matter in the grand schemes of club? Arsenal actually have players that can play football. This isn't palace / Saints. We could be absolutely obliterated in 4 days.

Thought I would never say this when coming up against Arsenal but I’m not looking forward to this at all. This could potentially be there first league win at Old Trafford for God knows how long.

Jeez this is a big game now. Will be interesting to see how the Arsenal Spurs game pans out, but right now you’d have to fancy Arsenal based on recent form.

Trouble with predicting this game is that this new Arsenal are hard to judge. Old Arsenal would always hand you three points in a crisis. Even Moyes got a temporary boost by beating them. Not sure about this team though. They have a fairly poor record in games vs the top teams so far this season, but tbf they’ve competed well in those games. On the other hand I don’t think their performances matched their results when they got that run of 10 wins in a row in all competitions.

Still, not much points to a United win. Heart’s hoping for a 1-0 win to us. Suspect it might be a narrow win for them.

I'm going for a United win. Arsenal aren't a team fit the big games and I can see Jose getting one over then. 3-1 United.

Shaw and Rashford came off with knocks, Young is suspended, Valencia is injured and Darmian wasn't in yesterday's match day squad, so I'm guessing at this for our starting 11.

That's assuming that Lukaku/Rashford/Smalling will be fit and ready. But yeah, I think that's our most likely first 11.

Yes. I always liked Jose even before he was our manager.

I don't want him as our manager anymore but I wouldnt rewrite history. I remember the day he left Chelsea for the first time. Him live on sky at some random restaurant in London. I was both happy and sad that he had gone.
I think there needs to be more of this on here.

It is very possible to like Jose. To rate Jose as a manager and respect his body of work and not want him to be our manager anymore.

That is a very fair point.
I wanted Jose to succeed SAF and was kind of pleased when he was appointed.

I am have huge respect for his various achievements. But and an increaseingly big but, it is becoming obvious that things are not working out as hoped and expected.
Something needs to change. If the dressing room atmosphere is as toxic as appears Jose is not likely to be able to turn it round.

My real concern is that this episode may well be repeated again next time unless we have a comprehensive clear out and re-build with players hungry for success and prepared to do whatever it takes to win for United.

Funnily enough I can see us boring them into submission and scraping a draw. Then again they could easily obliterate us, we're in such a fecking state.

We'll "park the bus" and go for the smash and grab. It'll be dull as shit but wouldn't be surprised if it works and cries of "we've turned a corner" can be heard throughout the land.

    Watching them now.

They will go for it. Seem mentally stronger than before.
A lot will go OTT over the game today forgetting they performed exactly like this at home to Spurs last season under Wenger when they won 2-0

It's bloody annoying how much better they're playing than us though given they're the most depisable bunch of cnut fan base

As if we're even capable of parking the bus.

Southampton broke us down quite easily. Arsenal will tear our defence to shreds.

Don't remember the last time I was so confident we are gonna lose against Arsenal at OT.

I doubt it's Arsenal that will trigger the reaction.

We made a woeful Southampton look top rate yesterday. Struggled against an awful Young boys. I think we are bad. And I actually expect us to get worse. We have not reached our trough imo.
