"This is it guys. This is where we stage our fantastic comeback and pull off the greatest great escape in history. This is where we win all five of our remaining fixtures and maintain our Premier League status. This is the moment that will be talked about for many ye- oh it's Man Utd, never mind."

"It's pretty fitting that our time in the premier league is going to be over at the hands of Man Utd."

"Yes, the team we almost beat to the first ever premier league title. We were on par with them back then, then our paths split and, well, you know the rest. It sickens me to think what could have been."

"Man Utd will be wanting to kick ass after being thrashed at Spurs yesterday, Villa will be like lambs to the slaughter. Biggest home victory for Man Utd in decades!!!!"

"I would be a fitting end to see us roll over and get our bellies rubbed by one of the worst Manure teams in living memory (depending on how old you are, obviously )"

"I just hope we can avoid taking Ipswich's record off them while we're busy stinking the division out."

"I think you'd have to be either mental or not a Villa fan to even consider going to or even watching this."

"The club has broken so many negative records over the last two or three seasons, bending over for a shoeing to incur the record ever Premier League defeat would be of no surprise to me..."

"Rooney due a hat trick against the team he has scored past the most. I suppose it is a consolation of relegation that manure are not guaranteed at least 6 points next season"

"hope we get thrashed, Oldham, style... potentially help screw over either arsenal or man city, or at the very least make the top four battle interesting. That and I want this parasitic bunch of scumbag players to be professionally scared for life.

MUFC average 1.2 goals per game.

After 32 games, we have scored 3 goals only 7 times.

MUFC have not scored more than 3 goals in a PL game this season

This looks like an easy game, however even if we play them off the park, let's not go crazy, 1-0 or 2-0 is very likely from this MUFC team. Plus if this season is anything to go by, there is a strong chance we choke this game for a 0-0 or even lose after a late free-kick goal (Southampton)

If we struggle against this lot ,then we are in trouble. Hopefully also Norwich will put the final nail in their coffin. 3-0

I started feeling a little empathic for a moment then. But then he called us "manure" and I realised I was reading the ramblings of a child. Let's relegate the shite out of this lot.

The only reason I'm confident is that the pace in our attack will cause their shite defense a lot of trouble.

Due for a let down game after beating West Ham. When was the last time we put up two good performances in a row?

Does a draw relegate Aston Villa today?

I get a sick thrill off relegating teams. It makes me happy

would be nice to put those Villa bums down, but can't see Sunderland winning away at Norwich to leave it open.
Doesn't really make much odds, and hopefully Martial can smash Villa away, and help this brother fantasy football things up.
And really make City fret tonight, where hopefully they get turned over by Chelsea.

While, meanwhile, Newcastle win today, and get all hepped up for their clash with City midweek...

Come on mate, the guy is in full gallows mode, don't get hung up by that tiny thing.

He must really think they're crap if he thinks we'll get anywhere in a million miles near smashfest records.

    A 3 or 4nil would be amazing!

Bit of a random one but maybe the Irish posters can tell me... I'm at Dublin airport this afternoon (terminal 2), do you know whether a pub/bar there is likely to show the football?

I like how some of us have set our minds on a trashing meaning anything else is going to be a bad performance. History tells us our level of performance often correlates to quality of opposition. We're definitely going to win but I'm not expecting any trashing here. Villa are going to keep 11 behind the ball for 90 mins.

Villa are so shit that even doing that will at most keep it to 2 goals

Martial rested, good. Strong team, should beat them easily. Also happy for Memphis.

That's a surprising amount of changes,. especially up top, I don't know how Rojo keeps starting.

Given it's the first of 3 games in a week for us, it's not that much of a surprise.

Some of the names on the bench though..I know they're young but it looks exciting

Not really Lingard wasn't great on Wednesday. Surprised no TFM but hey the team's not too bad. We'll still crush them. Pleased to see Martial dropped (or rested if you like) done nothing of late.

Good to see Martial being rested, I wish he'd feck off Fellaini and go with TFM instead though.

Feel like Blind needs a rest, aside from that it is a good line up. I am happy that some players are getting a good rest. I fecking hope Memphis turns up against this lot- could be his only good PL game yet.
