Really happy to see VDB starting, looking forward to the game much more after seeing the lineup!
Maguire-Lindelof may be rotation-related, but DvB in and Antony out feels more like Antony is being told he needs to do better. This team should be more than capable of beating Bournemouth at home. We had to rotate at some point like others have said.
True. And our attacking options look terribleWould have preferred to see Fred in midfield over Erikson
Maybe he slept really really lateMust be an injury to Antony if he's not in the squad
Bournemouth fan?Really happy to see VDB starting, looking forward to the game much more after seeing the lineup!
imagine he actually does something today?Really hope he has a good game and we get a winReally happy to see VDB starting, looking forward to the game much more after seeing the lineup!
I’m sure they will ask the bossI wonder what’s up with Antony? Injured or dropped for his poor recent performances?
What do you think it will be set up like?ETH going with the false player up front.
Bold move, let's see if it pays off.
Probably a knock. No need to completely drop him instead of benching him if it was due to his form alone.I wonder what’s up with Antony? Injured or dropped for his poor recent performances?
Got your zipper mask on yet mate?Really happy to see VDB starting, looking forward to the game much more after seeing the lineup!
There's rotation and then there's what we've fielded at the back, a potential disaster. Could he not have thrown at least one of Varane or Martinez in there. Not keen on this selection at all. I understand rotation and resting players but we have seen that back five multiple times and it's usually not pretty. As for DVB this has to be the last chance saloon for him, needs to bloody do something useful. Otherwise flog him and bring back Diallo from Sunderland and give him DVBs minutes.
No, Dalot started those games. Is this the same defence that started against Brighton and Brentford?
