If the team is as named above then it it is a strong team that should be good enough to win , no excuses today. Need to finish the season strongly.

Cavani, Rashford, and Greenwood. Yes please.

Would like to see a midfield of McTominay, Pogba and Bruno.

That's not how paternity leave works. You don't punish people for taking it.

He should start or be benched based on merit, nothing else.
This is the real world and elite professional sport at that. If someone replaces you and does not deserved to be dropped you should not automatically get your spot back. It's not like he is being sacked for taking paternity leave.

In which case the decision is based on merit, which is fine. If Henderson deserves to start then Henderson deserves to start.

There's a difference between that and dropping someone because they took parental leave, which is what I read the post I was responding to as suggesting when they said "he should get benched for the absence". As if him taking parental leave was in and of itself a mark against him.

Brightons Premier league away form this season.

    won 3-0 v Newcastle
    Lost 4-2 v Everton
    Drew 1-1 v Palace
    Lost 2-1 v Spurs
    Won 2-1 v Villa
    Lost 3-0 v Leicester
    Drew 0-0 v Fulham
    Drew 2-2 v West ham
    Lost 1-0 v Man City
    Won 1-0 v Leeds
    Won 1-0 v Liverpool
    Drew 1-1 v Burnley
    Lost 1-0 v West Brom
    Won 2-1 v Southampton

They have picked up points in 9 of their 14 away games and their away record is better than their home form this season

More often than not they don't concede many goals on their travels so if United win tonight don't be surprised with another 1-0 score line.

That's a very early leak if it's true. Another mole in camp?

Lineup looks like a drunk man put it together, Brighton although being close to relegation will easily beat us. We're terrible. 0-4 that one who always misses to score a hat trick. Welbeck to do the dance.

Why's Ole letting the players know 3.5 hours before who's playing?! Surely keep it until an hour before so everyone stays focused and mentally prepared.

Numerical ordering of team sheets is worse than socks and sandals.

We will probably play Martial, just because he's too shit to play for France.

Brighton have a much much much better striker in Welbeck.

That said, Pogba and Fernandes will give our team too much quality. 3-0 to United
Oh yes - Danny Welbeck with 75 goals in his entire career at the age of 30 is a better striker than Martial. It's ok to criticize without being deluded

Perfect line up and a great middle finger to the fans that say Ole is too weak to drop De Gea.

You don't think the players find out who is playing that late...do you? They'll know the day before if not earlier then that. Maybe this is a joke that's gone well over my tiny head!

Mostly our best lineup but I would have preferred Scott ahead of Fred. Should be a comfortable win though.

    It's not in numerical orderpedant
Pedantic but it’s a good point. Why put Henderson at the head and the numerical order the rest? There’s zero logic to it. It’s like they’ve gone “well he’s definitely the goalkeeper so he’s first but I’m stumped on the rest“

Not happy with Fred starting but at least 1 of the chuckle brothers 2.0 has been dropped. Early goal important here. I’m going 3-1. Fancy Cavani & Mason to score today.

Its analogous to how the club is run.

I don’t see the point of designated squad numbers other than just to sell shirts. Just do 1-11. If your favourite player is a starter chances are he’s gonna wear the same number every game anyway so you can still buy his shirt.
