Dunno about Pereira, but Shaw should've closed down the crosser. Totally unimpressed with his performance.
Me too.Lingard was absolutely everywhere today. Motm for me
I noticed that too, awful from Shaw.Wonder if Mourinho will have a go at Shaw for not closing down that first ball in that lead to the header off the bar but really - everyone was barely in second gear most of that second half.
Lol, what the feck is your problem? Digging up my post after the game just to have a dig. Very sad.Hope you enjoyed the game!!!!
He looked like he was running on empty after 20 minutes or so.I noticed that too, awful from Shaw.
If you're gonna dish it out, be prepared to get some back. Getting on Rashford's back for no reason.Lol, what the feck is your problem? Digging up my post after the game just to have a dig. Very sad.
I did enjoy the game, thank you. Doesn't change the fact that Rashford is shit at one-on-ones.

If Shaw made it to second gear for any of that half I must have missed it - utterly casual throughout. Should he not have been busting a gut to impress here?Wonder if Mourinho will have a go at Shaw for not closing down that first ball in that lead to the header off the bar but really - everyone was barely in second gear most of that second half.
Oh, you go to the gym?
I did actually predict 3-1. Had a feeling they'd score because of the changes we made at the back, but in fairness their goal only happened because of some poor goalkeeping Pereira will want to forget about quickly.Oh no, white text!

So did I. I foresaw an insane soft goal, but at the start of the match, not the end. Not bothered, tbh. Enjoyable watch.I did actually predict 3-1. Totally! Had a couple of sparks, but should've taken the chance to impress Mourinho. Don't see him getting any game time in the league after today's unimpressive run around. If Shaw made it to second gear for any of that half I must have missed it - utterly casual throughout. Men of the Match?Darmian was awful today, performance was good and I was very impressed with our play.
Carricks wordly pass was quality, shame Martials scissor kick and the fake shot move never went in plus I also wouldnt mind him taking more free kicks if one like that is to be expected now and again but half a metre below.
Lingard, Martial and Herrera all MOTM for me.

What was Smalling doing also? Absolutely in no man's land, seemed as though he'd picked up Mason and then still let him run in behind him whilst he just stood there!Wonder if Mourinho will have a go at Shaw for not closing down that first ball in that lead to the header off the bar but really - everyone was barely in second gear most of that second half.
Yes, Men ov de MečMen of the Match?

Absolutely should have been - did I guess have the one burst for the offside and great take. Neville made the same comments - that someone like him should be sprinting to his ball and showing a real intensity in order to win over the manager, much like Herrera was today to earn a spot.If Shaw made it to second gear for any of that half I must have missed it - utterly casual throughout. Guess its to do with at-least 4 more players putting up bigger shows last night. Mata/Rashford a level up and Martial/Lingard another level up.How are you cnuts giving Carrick 6.7? He put on an absolute show tonight.
It was just rotation wise, nothing in favour for a particular football style.Fellaini as #10 like we were going to get outplayed by a team in an European final, I see…
Well, Mourinho doesn't work like that.It was just rotation wise, nothing in favour for a particular football style.
That's two of us. Still can't get why Shaw gets so much free-passes in this forum. He makes basic mistakes every game and still gets away with it. It's baffling.Dunno about Pereira, but Shaw should've closed down the crosser. Totally unimpressed with his performance.
Agree mate. I was very much standing behind him and shouting for him to get playing time and chances - but that's coz I saw some potential in the guy. I was very happy he was given 45 min and even if I saw glimpses of a very good player his commitment was far below par. That's two of us. We are Manchester United, a club that aspires to win every match. We can't afford the luxury to wait 3 years for a player to get the grasp of football.
I was one of those supporters a couple of seasons ago. But last season was really the limit for me. I'm starting to think he's already a lost cause in here and we should both move on, even with the risk of Shaw improving somewhere else, but we really cant afford a squad spot to a player that is not reliable.Agree mate. He should be given one more chance only - if he doesn't set on fire that left wing he shouldn't deserve the chance to don Man Utd shirt anymore.
