I get where your coming from but honestly I think it's just his way .. He doesnt wear his heart on his sleeve or talk about it to the media so it can be hard to see where his passion lies at times

However he has always been like this so you can't read too much into it .

That said I do think he is off this season but even if he wasn't I don't see why we can't trust Romero anyway .. If anything Romero had performed as well if not better than De Gea this season who has dropped a couple of clangers .

Cue Romero feckin it up now after saying that
Haha yeah I'm hoping I haven't jinxed him but I've been impressed with Romero this season. He's been assured at the back and deserves his place in the team. It's not as though we've steamrolled anyone even in the Europa league, we've had multiple hairy moments and hes been strong for us in those moments. feck it. Give him a go.

Fellaini beats the high press. Our defenders are not good enough to build from the back when pressed. I still don't know why many of our fans don't get Fellaini's inclusion in the team when we play teams who want to press us to death.

Yeah, I don't agree one bit. A lot of teams press Fellaini does feck all to combat that, I'd take Carricks calmness and passing over anything Fellaini offers press or no pressing.

Those would be his stats from games against teams like St Ettiene, Zorya, Anderlecht and Rostov? Whereas De Gea's are from the full PL season he played as our first choice keeper?

If we played Romero for a full season I'm pretty sure I know how he'd compare to De Gea's "average" season.

Dave didn't fair too well in the EL. Conceeded a goal in all 3 of his matches.

Are you going to become a Real fan when he leaves?

I've got no problem with Fellani starting providing all he does is win his ariels tackels and just play the ball. Its when he starts to try and dribble with it is when I want to shave his hair off and make him eat it!

Lingard I feel is getting more than he deserves right now. Hopefully he can prove me wrong with a cracking performance tonight.

    Romero v DDG stats
Those stats are meaningless because of the difference in number of games, 8 games is too small a sample size. Not to mention the quality of opposition De Gea has played against is higher. Anyone trying to argue Romero has been better or is better is talking out of their arse.

Hell of a bench we have. That will strike fear into our champions league rivals next year.

Our 2 world class CB's always fit and ready to be relied upon
Our top class playmaker in midfield pulling the strings
Our world class striker who bangs in a shed load of goals every year

Thank you Mourinho for rewarding the best player against Arsenal with at least a place on the bench tonight, and not reverting to those two overhyped injury pussies that we have. Oh wait!
    Frustrating that.

Tuanzebe was the only positive on Sunday. He deserved a place in the squad for at least one of the chuckle brothers.

Pretty much the best team we can put out considering injuries and whatnot - De Gea obviously.

My nerves could use a comfortable 3-0 win, but the way things are with United right now I'll accept anything that puts us through.

The expected team, more or less. I'm hoping for an early goal, first 15mins, to really stretch them and force them to pile forward.....then Pogba can ping apart their back line and we'll get a good few goals.

Pretty much the team that was expected, Mkhi getting the nod despite being in rotten form because he's scored a few goals in this comp, and we sacrifice playing 10 outfield players to use a tree for fear of their set pieces.

No surprises for me with this lineup.

At least there's enough ' talent ' on the bench if things start to go wrong.

Boring 1 - 1 draw I reckon - not even nail biting anxiety.

Would have gone for Mata in place of Lingard and Martial on the left. Don't see the need for 3 midfielders with Fellaini. With that we would have them pinned back for most of the game and probably scored more than one. Herrera and Pogba are attacking players. They would relish the opportunity to attack.

It actually helps to be a bit positive. It is only Celta. No need to be that worried.

Team I expected. Nervous now, though.

The fact that it's only 1 nil annoys me. Guess that sums up our season, though.

Could do with an early goal to calm the nerves.

We're gonna win 3-0! Come on UNITED!!

....ah who am I kidding. We all know it's going to be 1-1 and we're gonna be hanging on by a thread at the end of the game. Around 8% of caf users will suffer heart attacks.

You just know this game will be a pain in the neck with us wasting chances. Hopefully we can score at least 1 goal.

11/11. The question is if we're going with an 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1.

    I don't get this Lingard-thing, but... I trust Jose.

The bench looks like Man Utd 2015.

Oh, and if Fellaini gets a yellow card in the first 20 minutes, i will crawl into my stream to slap his face.

We've supposedly sacrificed the league at the weekend so it's time for this team to show up and put on a performance rather than stumble into the final (or worse).
