Support the manager, boo Rashford and chant Sancho out.
These players can’t get another manager sacked because they don’t like having to put a shift in. Sick of them.
Chelsea will prob win or get a draw but it would be nice if we had a go at them and the players tried for longer than 20 minutes.

I bet the City reject scores against us just to compound matters.
Same with the training session like defeat in Ole final season. They stopped trying to exert themselves after 0-2 whereas it could have gone much worse.
I felt we were picking up some form before the Newcastle game and we'd give them a real go...
    How wrong was I...
Only if you believe in favorable selective stats. So far the best winning streak was only 3 games in a row (Brentford, Sheffield United and Copenhagen at home). Else there is no true run of form, unless you count consistently having midfield overrun and concede plenty of shots.

    Difficult call

We’re barely a top 10 team. Pretty sure we’ve spent more time in the bottom half than top half this season, or the last 15 months even

Just what the doctor ordered. Chelshit under Poch. That's good nutrition for our team to feast on.
    1-0 to United. McTominay ffs

Agreed, top10 by the skin of your teeth ….but nonetheless top 10

If Utd win it’ll be a first this season.

From what some have mentioned about stats and xg, the narrative for Chelsea has been decent performances poor results. Almost the total opposite with United so there's a chance. If Chelsea are open at the back then it will be a problem but I can see a draw.

Edit…. *although you might not be 10 by Wednesday
Wolves are the closest team to us who are playing Tuesday night and they’re 4 points behind us, so you’ll get your chance to test your top 10 mettle ;)

Jokes aside, I do feel somewhat confident going into this but we’re 10th for a reason. We have the bozo gene in us.

It’s kinda true but at the same time, despite xG looking alright, we’re still 10th creeping up to midway through the season for a reason.

Feck it. Play the kids. Make a statement.

    Onana
    AWB - Maguire - Lindelof - Shaw
    Mainoo
    Mejbri - Bruno
    Antony - Hojlund - Garnacho

Rashford, McTominay and Martial sent to the stands. Dalot benched. Set the fecking standards.

Yes my bad thought Brentford were playing Tuesday.

Has the making of a good game ….could go either way

What other league would you have two multiple Champions League winners contest a game and have no chance of making top 4 in their own domestic league???

If that happens hopefully McTominay brought on for the final 5 minutes than having to watch him in action for another full 90 minutes

They have put up solid performances against the top teams: beat Tottenham and Brighton, drew against City, Liverpool and Arsenal. That means we are going to win easy!

Damn right. They won't see us coming. We'll trick them by playing shit through 60 minutes. Then it's go time.

Wrong matchday thread? Nottingham Forest-Chelsea return leg is in May.

We're getting CL next season :wenger:

Chelsea bookies favs for a reason.. We got to many players who arnt good enough.. and at least half of them will be starting..

Utd are a midtable team so are Chelsea , but the improvement Chelsea can make compared to utd is plain ,they have more better players..

It's also rans Derby were this game I used to enjoy as a top teams battling it out..

When this will change don't know , but you've got Villa doing better Newcastle, and Spurs ffs ..

A piss poor game coming up and it doesn't matter who wins because either side will feck the next game up that's were these two teams are..

He’ll basically play the same team and same formation that has done so poorly all season and then the defence will be that the players are poor and don’t want to play for him. Rinse repeat until he’s gone.

I wonder what levels of smugness @Amadaeus will reach when (if?) Chelsea win this game!

I am picturing something like this:

Imagine telling your kids this was once a game that had title implications.
Both these teams have finished high in the PL in the very recent past. You're making out it's like a Norwich v Blackburn situation.

I was about to call you out on this as I thought there was no chance you were right but checked and you're correct. Blimey.

Very odd decision from the bookies given our wildly inconsistent recent results. You always seems to scrape wins against lower placed sides so not sure why the bookies think tomorrow will be any different.

Normally I'd back us as Chelsea is bad also.

    But with the recent leaks, I'm expecting a shitshow. 0 - 3.

Just play everyone in their spot and that would be good.

    Play Lindelof as CB.
    Play Shaw as LB.

Play Mainoo with Haniball and Bruno as mid three.

Garnacho, Hojlund and Pellistri as top 3.

Play 5 kids up front, and even if we lose, i'd be happy with that.

Not exactly a match of the stature it was 10-15 years ago. Both clubs are in freefall primarily, arguably, due to rot in the executive suite.

On paper, we should destroy Chelsea. But the game is played on turf.

They don't get it wrong often.. maybe last season Everton 8/1 at home to Arsenal.. strange price that .. also Utd at home to pool 11/2 I think they were that was generous as well.... Chelsea all the way on Wednesday. UTD are just devoid of any ideas on or off the pitch..
