    THIS !!!!

It's kind of infuriating how quick people get to jump on these guys because they've been fed this same bullshit over and over. Every time a young lad get dropped, a story about bad attitude, disciplinary reason pops up then people gets all crazy and bash them when those reasons could be far from the truth. Meanwhile the kids are the ones feeling the heat for things they might even haven't done.

It happened with Zaha, Januzaj, Perreira, now Memphis. The truth of the matter is that we can't tell and those stories could most likely be made up but unfortunately everyone just taste those garbage stories and launch a mob to burn those kids.

I remember Zaha came out and denied those report about his attitude and feeling hurt that he was being accused of such by the media(they probably just guessed that to be the reason of him being dropped and people ran with those stories). The same could be happening with these new guys who, for all we know didn't have any disciplinary issues but are being called out for bad attitude while not true.

These stories about attitude are just running rampant whenever the media needs a go to go story with these kids it seem and people just CAN'T wait to be fed of such.
Didn't Saha win the POTY award of some sort this week. You should not be getting that with the kind of attitude the media suggested.

I don't know about award or such but I heard he's been doing well at Palace and has had a good season. The media is usually full of BS but unfortunately people are way too eager to be fed those crap.

    Hoping to see:

    De Gea
    Valencia - Smalling - Blind - Darmian
    Carrick
    Rooney - Fellaini
    Young --- Rashford --- Martial

Although I'm sure Mata will start ahead of Young and Rojo ahead of Darmian.

Crazy that Rojo can somehow be undroppable (injured last game wasn't he) after the amount of utterly shite performances he's served up this year while other players can make a single mistake or poor performance and not be seen again for weeks/months
He's left footed and LVG is in love with left footed players.

I think Van Gaal is concerned with the potential dangers of defending set pieces. Rojo will no doubt help with that. Could see Zaha taking the piss on several occasions in one-on-one situations though. Not sure if CBJ would much better though.
Rojo got beat like a drum on set pieces against Leceister. For all his height and size, Rojo is pretty terrible at defending set pieces.

How on earth could Zaha win their POTY? He has 2 goals and 1 assist in 34 Prem games.

Honestly rojo never used to be this bad.

However he has been a disaster these past few weeks. For the past 5 games or so he has contributed to the opposition's goal be it assist or a poor clearance.

I will fast and pray tonight. Hopefully my prayers will guide him tomorrow.:D

not much jinxing based on score predictions I see !
Mate, C.Palace are so bad...I mean really bad. For them to win, we'd need to jinx the match, have half our team with broken legs, get 2 red cards, play defenders in the strikers' role and even then I would make us favourite.

In our game against them a few weeks back, we had 10 shots on goal (yes...MUFC who usually create so little, while CP had 0 shots). That's how bad they are. I'd put them not far off of A.Villa's performance level. From what I recall Palace scored most of their points in the first half the season, then switched to relegation form in the second half of the season.

A cup final is a cup final though - form goes out of the window and it'll be a case of who is up for it and ultimately who wants it more.

In the league game they played like they're on vacation already. Don't be fooled, tomorrow they'll play with a lot more heart and desire. I just hope our players will have some of that.

I predict a similar game to Everton one. We'll start good, score than disappear from the pitch at some point. And pray we don't concede. With Rojo starting probably defending will be a lot of fun. Especially against their forward line which is dangerous.

When a player's job is to carry the ball into the box the end product is somewhat important.
Well it all depends on what his coach is asking him to do rather than what some random guy online thinks he should be doing. Also those voting him as POTY have seen something you have clearly missed. How many games of his did you watch?

Gone with this. Think Fellaini will start. The only dodgy one is Schneiderlin - I think maybe Mata or Herrera (unlikely) might play instead, as with Rooney playing deep, we probably don't need Fellaini, Schneiderlin and Carrick all starting.

Perhaps Lingard might take Schneiderlin's place in order to balance the attack (Martial on one wing, Lingard on the other, Rashford through the middle).

    I think we'll see

    Carrick Fellaini
    Rooney
    Mata Rashford Martial

    Or perhaps Schneijderlin for Fellaini.

Or Rooney deeper with Mata as #10 with Lingard on wing.

The meltdown here at times...... Rojo has been playing since return but somehow he should be dropped for a youth player because in your opinion he hasn't played well.

He's not very good in defending

Fellaini is an absolute certainty to start. Palace have scored more than half their goals this season from set pieces and you know how good we are at those..............

I haven't even considered the possibility that we'll lose this game. I'll be devastated if we do.

Fellaini will definitely start. As worrying an indictment as it is for our team, I think he's been one of our better players this year.

This...LVG already said he missed Fellaini when we played West Ham because of their threat from set pieces. He relies on him to counter this threat, so bang to rights he will be starting.

Bit surprised at Borthwick-Jackson being left out the squad, not really with Memphis though. Apparently he handed a pair of boots to a member of staff on his way out of the training ground, don't suppose he will be needing his for a while just now. Looks like a choice between Rojo/Darmian for LB, think it's likely to be Rojo though.
Fellaini an almost certain starter as well for the obvious reason, wouldn't be surprised if Lingard gets in ahead of Mata.
This is a strange game to try and predict, but I think it all depends on what United do rather than Palace.

Schneiderlin won't start, apparently he was about to be left out of the squad altogether.

    99% the team will be:

    -------------De Gea
    Valencia-Smalling-Blind-Rojo
    -------Carrick----Fellana-----
    Mata-------Rooney-----Martial
    -----------Rashford

    RIP Phil Hughes
CBJ i thought had a really good game againt bournemouth. Rojo has been one of our absolute worst this year so personally i think its an absolute disgrace to drop CBJ for Rojo.

I've gone for the same line-up that faced Leicester the other week:

    De Gea
    Valencia Smalling Blind Rojo
    Carrick
    Rooney Fellaini
    Lingard Rashford Martial

Think it will be this. Apart from Rojo, I think that's the best (or most logical) team we could put out.

I understand that everyone has us as overwhelming favourites to win the FA cup, considering our opponents in the final. But this season has taught us that ANYTHING can happen in football. I can't imagine what will happen if we actually lost out on the cup.
