Football Club Copenhagen (Danish: Football Club København), commonly known as FC København, FC Copenhagen, Copenhagen or simply FCK, is a professional Danish football club in Copenhagen, Denmark. Football Club Copenhagen is, in many ways, both an old and a new club. Even though the club was established in 1992, it is rooted in more than 100 years of club tradition. The club's first team represents two separate clubs: Kjøbenhavns Boldklub (continental Europe's oldest football club) founded in 1876 and Boldklubben 1903 founded in 1903. The two Copenhagen clubs merged their first teams to found Copenhagen on 1 July 1992.

F.C. Copenhagen has won 13 Danish Football Championships and 8 Danish Cups. In European football F.C. Copenhagen has reached the group stage of the UEFA Champions League and the group stage of the UEFA Europa League more times than any other Danish club and are the only Danish club who has reached the knockout stage of the Champions League. As of August 2020, Copenhagen are the highest ranked Scandinavian club in the UEFA club coefficient rankings list.

Since their foundation, FCK have developed a fierce rivalry with Brøndby IF. The Copenhagen Derby games between the two sides have attracted some of the biggest crowds in Danish football history. Copenhagen plays its matches at the Telia Parken, which also serves as the venue for Denmark national football team matches.

    Get it done early.

I still think we can start a few of the second fiddle. Lingard, Chong and Peirera showed glimpses, James, Mata and Fred should be nowhere near the starting lineup.

    Team should be...

    ---------------Romero---------------
    AWB--Bailly--Maguire--Williams
    ---McTominay---Fred---
    ----------------Pogba----------------
    Greenwood---------Lingard
    ---------------Martial---------------

Subs: Grant, TFM, Lindelof, Mengi, Matic, Andreas, Mata, Fernandes, James, Chong, Rashford, Ighalo

Really don't see the need to play a full strength XI tbh, that being said James and Mata certainly can't play again

Lingard and Fosu-Mensah to continue from our squad players as Wan Bissaka and Fernandes looked the most knackered out of all our players. The rest of the first team as usual.

Solbakken vs Solskjær. Our media are going to wank themselves silly over the next few days.

    Romero

Wan Bissaka - Lindelof - Maguire - Williams

    Matic - Pogba

    Lingard - Fernandes - Rashford

    Full strenght including De Gea.
It’s a quarter final one off game so no time for rotation.

Hopefully we will be up by 3 around the hour mark and we can rest the usual 5 suspects.

First time we’ve played them since 2006? They beat us 1-0 I remember our European away record was shocking at the time.

If we're not in a semi final I'll be disappointed. Then Roma Sevilla or Wolves (presumably) will be a tough test.

Best side for this one. Just fully go for it here! Should be a win, but you never know.

FC Copenhagen is my local team and I can honestly say that I will be furious if we don't win this game by at least 3 goals - regardless of the team Ole decides to field.

FCC are having a terrible season just scraping second place in the league (14 points behind the winners, FC Midtjylland, who are just as bad as you guys recall from a couple of years ago) and only getting this far in Europe by being extremely lucky with easy opponents and favorable results in other games.

In attack, FCC have been terrible at creating chances and scoring goals. Their best players are the two midfielders, Carlos Zeca (DM) and Rasmus Falk (AM but usually played out of position), who are actually technically gifted and can link up well with attackers but their creativity has been stifled by the manager, Ståle Solbakken, who is a tactical dinosaur insisting on playing a classic 4-4-2 with long balls and crosses from the FBs aimed at a physically dominant striker.

That striker will probably be Jonas Wind who just returned from a bad injury. He's young and can be a handfull but he needs service. If Mohamed Daramy plays, he is one to watch. He's only 18 but has great pace and good dribbling ability but he's extremely hit and miss.

Defensively, FCC have been comically bad this season with the CBs particularly prone to mistakes. The veteran CB Andreas Bjelland, who was bought to bring stability to the team, is slower than Gary Neville in his last games for us and a safe bet to give a way a couple of 100 % chances. The young CB next to him, Victor Nelsson, is a ball playing CB who doesn't excell at anything apart from being easily bullied.

    We really should win this.

    Romero
    AWB Lindelof Maguire Williams
    Pogba Matic
    Greenwood Bruno Rashford
    Martial

United should play as full strength team as possible, with maybe Romero or Fred in contention to start.

If United beat Copenhagen, their semi-final match is 7 days later, with the final 4 days later.

3 matches from a European trophy, and we’re massive favourites in the first one

Start the main 11 and sub off when we get comfortable. Fred, McTominay, Lingard, Ighalo as subs if we have a win sewn up.

If it's a one off tie no reason to go anything but full strength
