?? I very much do appreciate him! I was exaggerating as mentioned. I have a thread in appreciate of him and his passing! Just saying Bruno out shining him (Not tonight, but in general) has made me rethink Pogba's role in the team. I always though he could do what Bruno is doing, but he is not that kind of player. And that's on me for thinking so.
Sorry I was more replying to the post you replied to.

Other teams grind out results without playing well - sign of a great team and shrewd manager.

United grind out result despite 14 SOTs including 4 against the woodwork and disallowed goals - shit performance and clueless manager.

Job done, we move on. Tougher game up next though against Wolves or Sevilla for certain, need to play better to get to the final.

Not really, he is a 30 year old veteran who has been knocking around the Scandanavian leagues for ages. He is having the game of his life today but if we sign him you know he is going to go full Taibi on us.
We don't need him, good signing for others.

I was doing if for effect. Didn't really mean "bang average".
If you check my other comments since, you will understand what I meant when you take away my unnecessary hyperbole.
I did see your follow up comments. Can’t help but suspect that if your comment had been met with more sympathy, there would have been no such follow up clarification, but ultimately it doesn’t matter anyway, it’s all meaningless internet convo mate. At least you did expand on your initial point.

Remember the last EL quarter final at OT against Anderlecht, when Rashford, Pogba and Ibra missed chance after chance, went to extra time when Rashford eventually put one in in the 107th minute?
Copenhagen were stubborn tonight, had no shots on goal though. Keeper made 13 saves as well. Hope Rashford is OK, he's looked as if he's still carrying some kind of injury since the restart.

Yeah, dumb of me to say bang average! When I saw the amount of quotes
Anyway, glad we got over the line today! Was tough, hopefully we got enough in the tank for wolves or sevilla.

Poor first half, much better second half. Apart from those mad five minutes first half, thought we controlled most of the game. Still concerned about our lack of defensive nous at certain times, still not convinced we can play Pogba, Matic and Fernandes together.

Wolves or Sevilla will be tough. Sevilla probably tougher of the two, but that said, I’d still rather them as I’m sick to death of Wolves.

Exactly this. People also forget that when a lot of lesser teams come up against United, they park the bus in front of goal and maybe a few cars and trains too!
At one point tonight when some from the Caf were up in arms about a pass from Bruno not reaching its man in the box, there were 10 Copenhagen players behind the ball....in the box (I’m including the D).
We did well to get the result, in that heat and against a team that’s only conceded 12 goals in 17 European matches this season.

Can't turn my sound on this late, what are they saying?
Zeca: Hey, thank you very much for everything you've ever done in Manchester United.
Ole: Oh we're trying to get it back, we're trying. He's helping, this boy is helping. (Points to Bruno)
Zeca: Yeah, this guy is amazing. He's amazing.
Ole: He's a little bit angry I didn't take him off.
Zeca: I was a little bit angry you didn't take him off before, but ok. Even though Sporting is my team, but yeah.
Ole: He was giving you the ball everytime. Keep going, good job. You get his shirt maybe.
Zeca: Yeah, thank you, all the best.
Ole: Look after Stale! (Copenhaga manager).

I just think instead of Sancho, we should be looking for a left footed wide playmaker, who could do what Mata did yesterday but with more pace and zest, neither Fernandes nor Pogba truly control games in the manner of a true playmaker even though they are very creative players, we could do with having one in the team

According to the Copehagen manager Solbakken they had two or three big chances and United had no great chances at all

Yes they had some chances from errors such as a misplaced Fred pass or any chance was well defended with blocks/interceptions but for 120 minutes Romero had nothing to do while the Copenhagen keeper was MOTM.
