Greenwood picked up a knock during the Newcastle game and has been withdrawn from the England squad. He is now in a fight to get fit for the Liverpool game.

At least try to act surprised people.

I have seen a picture of Pogba today in Dubai doing come cardio work. However, his ankle was heavily strapped. Still no word on Martial

    De Gea
    AWB—-Axel—-Maguire—-Shaw
    Dalot—-Matic—-Young
    McTominay—-Rojo
    *acres of space*
    James
That assumes Shaw and Dalot have recovered from their injuries; obviously also assuming Jones will still be injured - this isn’t pure fantasy...

    Liverpool's away form this season.

1-2 win v Southampton where the saints were close to getting a draw towards the end.

0-3 win v Burnley, opening goal an OG and they strolled to victory after that

1-2 win v Chelsea, just about hung on for the win, Chelsea deserved at least a draw

0-1 win v Sheff United, a goalkeeping howler was the match winner

While Liverpool are good i think it will say a lot more about United and how low they have fallen if they lose this game 5-0 or more.

As for lets park bus and sees where it gets us? well United have been doing that all season and its got United 9 points from 8 games the only match where the counter attacking game plan worked was game one v Chelsea and were blessed that Chelsea rattled the bar/post a few times instead of the net.

I have strong feeling that Liverpool will get a lucky win rather than a easy win in this match and their supporters afterwards will say United raised their game.

We are now hiding timescales of injuries..
    Martial, Shaw, Jones, AWB.

All I keep hearing from Ole is they should be ok for the next game every game.

I daren't even go onto RAWK these days and read their thoughts on how far we've fallen. It must be savage fcukwittery of the highest order.

Fair play to them. Whilst we make the crudest and most corrupted decisions driven purely by commercial motives, which makes our lot worse as every month passes, they are restoring their club to the pinnicles of beautiful football, with a brilliant and likeable manager and players who bleed for their club.

We are a mirror image of each other right now: as they rise higher, so we fall lower. And we have yet to reach our bottom. And they will rise further too.

    Think we'll lose this 0-3.
Worse... they actually genuinely pity us.

As in stop it he's already dead kinda pity

Martial had a more severe injury than what was publicly stated by the club, that's what I heard. Utd didnt announce that for fear of a backlash because they sold Lukaku and didnt replace him. I think Martial has been missing for 6 weeks now?

Shaw is back in training but Pogba's ankle is very heavily strapped what I saw today

If the players have anything about them they will put in a performance.I hope we attack them, put Van Dyck under pressure, it happens so rarely it may pay dividends.

Had a look at the international fixtures coming up and it seems relatively kind to both of us.

After Tuesday (15th October) neither of us has any players involved in international games. I think we've got Robertson, TAA, Van Dijk, Gomez, Lovren, Henderson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum & Firmino from the first team involved in two games. Mane has one friendly to play in. I can't find any games for Egypt so I guess Salah has a two week break.

Are many of your players away for international duty? Seems like there's a few injuries there.

We barely have a team to scrape together right now. With the international break coming up, and the inevitable string of injuries that will stem from it, we'll be lucky not to default the game due to being unable to field a team.

Shits bad right now, real bad.

I don't know if you remember but earlier in the season (or perhaps before it began) you said you thought United were going to surprise people this season.

    Is this what you meant?

How many of the sick notes are expected back?

    de Gea
    Wan Bissaka Tuanzebe Maguire Shaw
    Matic
    McTominay Pogba
    Lingard Martial James
Romero, Young, Lindelof, Fred, Mata, Greenwood, Rashford

Yes, Lingard is shit, but his workrate could be vital against Mane and Robertson. Not Pereira again for the love of God. Rashford's confidence is shot and he's in the worst run of form of his career, a spell on the bench as impact sub could help him.

This will be my first United v Liverpool game at Old Trafford. What a time to experience the Old Trafford atmosphere at a pool game...

I'm expecting us to pull off some freak result against the run of play, draw or win, followed by more dropped points against the lower teams we play after Liverpool.
Sounds exactly like what we used to do when you were really good and we were struggling. We'd beat you at Anfield then go and lose to someone like Sunderland in the following game.

We will lose and comfortably so in my honest opinion. Ole will try to park the bus to save his job but it won't work.

I just hope afterwards he is put out of his misery and shown the door.

    1-3.

I don't think we will get the battering people are predicting. These games are always tight.

I think Liverpool will sneak it 2-1 but we won't get battered. They will show a bit of a pride for a change.

I think the result is heavily dependent on the likes of Pogba, Martial, Shaw and AWB returning to the lineup. Our best first eleven is quite competitive on their day, which would be something like this for me:

    DDG

    AWB Lindelof Maguire Shaw

    Mctominay Pogba

    Rashford Lingard James

    Martial
Nothing to write home about, especially with Lingard in at number 10 (I couldn't think of anyone that was either ready for the first team or of better quality sadly), but it's enough to give Liverpool a game at the least.

The problem is, the likelihood of seeing that team start against the scousers is slim to none.

We're a team with a small team mentality. We will most probably win this game then go onto lose the next 5, as the players can motivate themselves for it. If we do win I'm not sure if I'd be happy or even more angry at the frauds we have inherent in our squad.

We are going to play on the counter, so we might do better than expected. Unless we concede early on...

Great weekend ahead. Getting fecked up the arse by the scousers and dealing with a fecking huge typhoon that looks like it's heading straight for us.

We won't let in more than 1 goal . Also Klopp usually plays it safe at OT. Game will end 1-1 If we get Martial back.

It is so important that you don't pile pressure on these kids, you'll ruin them - the fight to get fit should be Martial's

We will raise the game against this lot. We will match their intensity in every department and rashford will miss sitters and at the end it will be settled by a dubious penalty. 1-nil to united. And then i wake up, wash my face and then go support united v liverpool game in a local pub.

This is the team and system I would go for however I think this may suit us better as we don't have quality wingers and we can be a threat with pace up front. We shouldn't play just on the counter though. Pogba should be given a licence to play further forward. I think we can threaten them if we play to our strengths with the system and lineup above.

No chance. Even our board know we're miles off this Liverpool side. It would be new levels of stupid to base his future on a game against the best team in the country

I expect any sacking to happen following defeats to Norwich, Chelsea & Bournemouth
