    Great debut from Martial. Basti bossing the midfield. Both our fullbacks are excellent. Young's introduction gave us the momentum.
     
    Brilliant performance. First half laid the foundations. Brilliant goal by Marcial. I nearly broke my house.

    Yeah, both teams were terrible in the first half, united had much more of a purpose in the second.
     
    Second half was simply epic. Martial's goal is exactly what we've been missing- someone with pace willing to actually dribble at people and score. Once again our back four didn't do much wrong, and BFS bossed the game. I hope Young starts the next game.
     
    Good win. Now Rodgers has zero fans. I want him out too and I was the last one.
     
    Soon happy! Cannot get over Martial's goal and he looks so cool and unaffected even after scoring that spectacular goal. Oh my:drool::drool::drool:

    Remember how good City were in the first half of last season, then remember how average they were in the scond half of last season.
    The table means nothing this early on.

    I'm made up for Martial. He's got that look of arrogance that just tells you he's going to be a star. Welcome to our new #9. We played some good stuff the second half. Was this LVG's plan all along? To lull Liverpool into a false sense of security?

    Let's hope this result kick starts our season.
     
    Wish we had pushed the boat and signed Benteke as well. He is simply a handful for any defense.

    That was enjoyable. Give Liverpool hope for 45 minutes. Then have a defender gracefully score a goal, get a penalty off the newbie LB and then give them hope again when a stunner from Benteke only for the 'overpriced flop' to make skrtel lovren and clyne dummies and score 20 mins into his debut
     
    We just need to play the full 90 minutes like we did the 2nd half! If we could just do that! But will enjoy this win for now! Martial!!!!!
     
    Brilliant win and good all round performance in the second half, however Liverpool were utterly dire and so were we in the first half. I still want us to improve!

    Amazing result though, great defensive performance and I'm ecstatic for Martial. Schweini was excellent too.
