I think that's called glass half full mate.

Let's not piss about, we are having a poor season - but we are highly likely to put Luton away.
oh i fully expect we put Luton away. If not serious questions need to be asked for sure.

Just checking this team and I can't say that we spent around 500M for the past years.

So many average players in there.

    Baffling

I will not watch this game as I need a break from them.

    -------------------------------------------Onana-------------------------------------------
    Wan Bissaka-----------Maguire---------Lindelof----------------Reguilon
    -------------------------------Amrabat---------Eriksen------------------------------
    Rashford------------------------------Bruno---------------------------Garnacho
    --------------------------------------------Hojlund----------------------------------------
I'd go with that, maybe Evans in for Lindelof. I'd like to see Mainoo given at least 30mins also to get back into the swing of things.

Am I the only one who actually saw some positivity from last night's game? We played some lovely stuff before the red card. More of that please. We will win this one - 3-0.
This has been said in more than half of the games we’ve played this season. “We played good football for 10/20/30 minutes bla bla bla”. Yet we still lost most of them, or only just scraped a win.

A football game is 90 minutes, which is extremely unfortunate for us considering we can’t sustain a performance for longer than a mediocre shag.

The wife wants to go see the in laws on Saturday, the fact I haven't pushed back really is telling

I would normally agree with that, but last night wasn't because we dropped off, it was because of a shocking refereeing decision. Excuses, I know, and it's not like we played to levels of City or Liverpool, but it was much better than what we have been seeing over the last few weeks.

    ................Onana
    AWB Maguire Lindelof Reguilon
    ------Hannibal Eriksen
    Pellistri Bruno Garnacho
    ------------Hojlund

    Would like to see

    -----------------Bayndir
    AWB Maguire Lindelof Reguilon
    Pellistri Hannibal Bruno Garnacho
    ----------Hojlund Martial

Varane - After that shitshow needs to get his head straight
Onana- Honestly would like to see Bayndir, but will never happen
Eriksen - No problems with either McTominay or Mainoo

Going down to ten men doesn’t excuse that total capitulation or conceding FOUR goals after the red card. It’s called in game management, and it was none existent.

It really hasn't. Last night we played some football and then folded late on - poor but not a disgrace.

Also entirely reasonable to hope we can build on it. This is a Utd forum.

I mean you can twist it to suit whatever narrative you want. It wasn't just the red card, it was the bullshit penalties, the non-call of a blatant red card for the elbow on Rasmus, the offside call for the Copenhagen first goal - or you can do what you do and pin it all on the manager.

folded late on? We folded early and late. We got the red card in the 42nd minute, and couldnt even make it to half time with the lead to regroup. Thats folding right away.

Win this and we are 3 points behind Klopp's new evolution!

Not saying it’s all on the manager and assigning total blame to him.

You, on the other hand, are absolving him of all responsibility for last night, which is absurd.

    We win 2-1

    ..............Onana.........

    AWB.Maguire.Varane.Dalot
    .........Mount..McT...............
    ................Bruno.................
    Rashford.....................Garnacho
    .................Højlund

    Subs: Eriksen, Hannibal, Antony

Fun fact. 4 managers lost their jobs after playing Luton last season.

Totally agree we were playing the best we have in a while before the red, and even some parts down to 10. Then poof. Cursed season.

I know Luton almost beat Liverpool the other day but if we lose at home to Luton then ETH needs to be sacked.

Being out hustled for goal last week. Switching off for goal last night. It seems to happen a lot with him. He was much worse about it when he 1st got here but I thought he got better about it last year.

Maybe he needs a rest to refocus.
It's not just Dalot, a lot of our team seem to switch off at varying times and it often costs us dearly, lack of concentration and awareness seems to be endemic in this team

Yea i agree. No red card and we win by three or four.

Every opponent in the EPL is capable of putting in an epic game-raising performance against us. No question ETH understands this, but I'm not so sure the player themselves do.

I googled "scaked" and there is an urban dictionary post and it aint pretty.
Does it perhaps have something to do with an unpleasant bodily function and an unfortunate human surface? Cause that's how I'm reading it.

Won’t find out what the result for this was till Monday morning/afternoon when I’m back home as am away on a family holiday to Rome and thankfully will be completely switching off from all things Man Utd & all other social media sites. Hoping to come back to a positive win

    Onana

    McTominay - Eriksen

    Rashford - B.Fernandes - Garnacho

    Højlund
