I actually miss Ole, he somehow got the team playing decently in these big fixtures and derbies especially.
That game at Ethiad when City were lucky not to be down 5-0 at HT was fun.

A lot of the so called deadweight in this squad featured in that game.

Well that was as expected, and managed to predict the final score sadly. Team really had very lightly fight in the end, and we didn't take the few chances we did have in the first half. Simply fact is that our players are simply not good enough. In a combined lineup, I doubt a single one of our players gets in from those that are currently fit.

Positives is that Abu Dhabi City have brought in Pep and limitless under the table resources. It’s brought a great standard of play to test yourself against. Of course if there is any Justice, all titles will be in name only

Actually he said it was soft multiple times. It was the ref they have onboard that said it was clear cut.
Soft or not, no chance it gets given if it was against any other team. It happens a feck ton of times in every fecking game and you would be having 4 or 5 penalties every game if that was a penalty. Even Shearer said the same at half time in the other channel. Neville can do one. He stopped being objective towards United a long time ago.

A top team, who possess serious ambition, have to be ruthless.
That would mean accepting mistakes, like buying duff players, or awarding players world class player type contracts and be decisive in putting it right.
No dithering, or trying to justify or rationalise these errors.
Get rid of wasters like Antony and Rashford and prioritise building a strong, robust midfield and another striker.

There is nothing to like them but this idea that we need more money to compete with City is just pathetic when you look at how far Liverpool and Arsenal managed to do with less investment and not that much better owners than us. We should be able to produce better than this with our reserves ffs.
Totally agree, ETH has the rest of this season to finally implement whatever his ‘philosophy’ is going to be or I’ll be done with him. I’ve seen no patterns of play, no combinations no player improvement.

If they can't get motivated for Sir Bobby, what hope is there.
We are not even sure now, because we reinforced out squad with almost the best the market could offer on the last couple of seasons.
Switching manager might not be the answer but in the end of day, the manager's work is judged by results.

I don't dispute that at all. We have been pathetic but the original point was about Neville being a cnut towards United. And in that regard, he can feck off.

Doku looks furious with Antony, what odds on him being accused of having said something racist, Would sum up how shitshow we are
Most of the fights I have seen on a football pitch started with a blatant intentional foul like the one Antony made. Doku had every right to be furious, I'm really surprised other players didn't step in for him.

Sure. It’s difficult to know what the root causes are beyond the obvious, but the players play fearfully. There is zero confidence across the team. When Hojlund came in it was clear he was a really good striker, but the team’s sickness has got to him like it does with everyone else. It’s a pretty tragic experience right now being a Utd fan.
They are not a team that is the problem. They should have a system drilled into them.

I don’t think Hojlund has done much wrong so far. If he had switched with Haaland today he’d have scored the two goals and Haaland would have had none.

We look clueless. Strange tactics and sticking with players who aren’t delivering. Playing Bruno out of position just to have him in the team. Then the petulance creeping in at the end of the game is infuriating. If we were playing to a plan and just came up short I’d be less annoyed but we really look like there’s no game plan.

Obviosuly this is a City team who will turn over most of their opponents but we’re like this against every team.

    Looking for Eric
Mount is an absolute waste of a player, I think he touched the ball twice and he runs around and contributes nothing. Disgraceful performance after half time mid table club at nest at the moment.

When I turned it off he said it absolutely was a penalty.Maybe he changed his stance later on to it being soft but it wasn't a penalty.

You'd be looking at 4-5 penalties every game in that case.

Sorry, my post may have been a little misleading. I think he’s great and a really exciting signing. What I meant was that I think he would be scoring regularly in the premiership but for the rest of the team.

Think this team will go to pot now in an attempt to get EtH the sack. Problem is no manager can afford to let the players run the club or they will get the sack too.

Well, I had a bit of hope and bit of optimism. But that was embarrassing. I actually feel there needs to be a bit of a bust-up amongst the players. A fight. Something, because sorry to say this, but I see nothing there at all. You cannot continue like this. No way. Quite alarming.

That is a broken team, a broken, dysfunctional set of players who do not wish to be there. I'm feeling very sad, because I genuinely fear for our club this season. We are there for the taking. Every, single team in the Premiership will feel they can beat us. Every single team.

    Shocking.

Sheffield Utd would have put up a better resistance to City than our limp, weak showing.
We were totally dominated, outplayed and out-classed for 95% of this match.

Iam so pissed off, totally fed up with this shite
Totally with you on that mate.
I was only trying to be a bit light hearted.
But honestly. This is so depressing.
Yet another manager struggling with even the basics.

Liverpool won 3-0 at home over Forest
United lost 3-0 at home to City.

So the difference between United and City is about the same as between Liverpool and Forest
