I hope we lose every game until the manager is sacked. Sick of him fluking more time with the odd well timed result.

What a shocking attitude!! Go support another team you are not wanted . Moronic beyond belief

We all know whats coming, the team is not going to magically change in 4 days, we will have possession and will clueless with it. Again.

Indeed I hated everything about Moyes, LVG would put me to sleep and I found a moody Mourinho very tiresome but regardless of the manager I would never, ever want United to lose a game

What is the general view in Norway about his tenure?

On topic: A nervy 1-0 win I think.
Just don't see it because we haven't beaten any of these teams that come and just sit in all season, not going to count Norwich or Brighton because those two came out and played which worked to our advantage.

Can't score. Can't keep clean sheets. Expect another Greenwood shot for goal. 1-1 draw.

    3-1.

According to the ups and downs routine of this team, expect us to bounce back the next game and fade away in 2-3 matches later. We'll somehow manage to concede at least one odd goal like we used to recently, maybe it's Maguire who will have a brain fart this time.

Sometime I really wonder why I wake up at 03:00 AM, watch a shit show, can't go back to sleep, go to work at 6:30 and have a very unproductive and unhappy day. Being an Utd fan this time around is just painful, feck me.

I won't be watching this game or checking the score. Still hoping and praying at win but it will be difficult to digest of we drop points again at home.

Either a high scoring draw (2-2) or a narrow win with Greenwood scoring the winner. :D

Just need to accept that United will unlikely build a potential win, though.

It don't know why but it bothers me that we haven't played all 19 teams yet and we're playing Newcastle for the second time.

Anyway, I think we'll get a scrappy 1-0 win probably via the penalty spot.

I would not wake up at 3am for this lot.

A third, unknown and estranged Longstaff brother will emerge from nowhere moments before kick off. He will twat a thunderbastard into the top corner from 40 yards.

The only change that needs to happen for sure is Pogba comes in, most likely for Lingard. Let's just see how that does.

Of course, I wouldn't complain if Greenwood starts, or Williams.

    Team should be...

    -----------------De Gea :nervous:-----------------
    AWB--Lindelof--Maguire--Williams
    ----------Pogba-----Matic----------
    James----------------------Rashford
    ---Greenwood---Martial---

Subs: Romero, Young, Fred, McTominay, Mata, Andreas, Lingard

    442 please
Looks great to me if you replace Matic with Fred. Matic is dead wood. Almost zero chance Ole will play 4-4-2, though, unfortunately.

If Pogba isn’t fit for a full match I would prefer him to start. His creativity is needed to score and when/if United score the first goal, the team could manage without him and go for defending plus counter attacks.

If we don't score first goal and do it early in the first half, we are going to lose. And if we score first we could still draw. We are in really bad form.

Don't see why we can't win against Newcastle at home. This should be a formality

I think some a determined to make this game seem a bigger mountain than it is so if we do win it is seen as somehow a credible victory to savor, when we shouldn't be having any problems at all.

I have come to accept that some have such low standards that a win against this lot would be seen as making progress.

I should take these lineup predications more in fun but for some reason take them way to seriously and end up double bluffing myself. :houllier:

We can't break teams down but still insist with 4-2-3-1 with James and Rashford struggling so I think Ole has to mix it up but then think he won't

For my sanity I'm going for the same team as the last borefests except for Lingard I'm putting in Pogba. Even though 10 isn't his best position. FFS

If we play like we did against Watford and don't score in the first half I don't think we'll win.
If we do score first in the 1st half I think we'll win

If he leaves the team unchanged, my head will pop off. (I know Pogba will start but other places as well)

My over reaction of the day is Shaw should be back up or 2nd back up. I sure hope to never see him play for United again. It looks like he does not even freaking care. Williams has his faults but please start him. Hopefully Tuanzabe is fit, get him in for Victor. Greenwood in for Martial and Romero in for De Gea. Would love for Ole to show some cojones and make these type of changes.

Paul Pogba in, Jesse Lingard out. Just stick Rashrford, Martial and Greenwood out there and let them figure it out. As much as i love Dan James, he needs to sit a few games on the bench now.

As Pogba was fit for a cameo yesterday, he will be ready for Newcastle: he has to start. I'm on the fence about Shaw. He was good and bad against Watford, but I really liked Williams in his starts and something has to inject urgency and pace and threat. I'd also go 433, keep Greenwood as a sub for Martial, and I don't think any of the central players we have used this season are any better than Garner, so:
    -----------------------------------DDG--------------------------------------
    AWB------------Lindelöf-----------Maguire----------Williams
    ----McTominay-------------Garner------------------Pogba----
    James---------------------Martial---------------------Rashford

I think this will effectively turn into McTominay and Garner playing alongside each other with Pogba following the ball and going where he wants. McTominay is the ball-winner/Fletcher, and Garner is the main DM.

We turn another corner and get back on track with a resounding 3-0 victory!

A middle of the pack opponent for us. Little over 50% win rate since SAF which is the 14th best out of the 29 clubs we've faced in the PL. Today it's one of those matches where we should be favorites but the game can go either way but to be fair that's most of our matches these days. They should we up for it because players usually want to prove a point after a defeat such as last time.

I expect Ole to change things up after the embarrassing 2-0 defeat at bottom of the league Watford.

We definitely see an improvement and a response to that defeat.

    De Gea
    AWB - Linderlof - Tuanzebe - Shaw
    Fred - Mctominay
    Pogba

    Manchester United 5 - 0 Newcastle

Martial was our best forward against Watford, played way better than Rashy and James. And I like Greenwood a lot, but it's not like he scored or anything. If anything, he fecked up a perfectly good chance. Why are you dropping Martial?
